Dmitry Kharatyan - the personal life of an actor

Dmitry's first marriage to Marina Burimova, who gave birth to a daughter, Alexandra, turned out to be unsuccessful for Kharatyan,

With his second wife Marina Maiko, Dmitry Kharatyan's personal life has developed very happily, the couple are raising their son Ivan.

- Recently Dmitry Kharatyan exchanged his sixth dozen. To summarize: what else do you want from life? What do you regret?

As for desires (smiles), I want my wife to give me a daughter. And I regret only one thing: that at one time I drank and smoked a lot - this greatly affected my health.

- Dmitry Kharatyan was treated for alcoholism.

Yes, I had a very difficult period in my life when I was addicted to alcohol. I tried a lot to get rid of this addiction, but nothing helped me. My wife saved me. She insisted that I undergo treatment at a drug treatment clinic. Thanks to Marina, she is a wonderful woman.

Why didn’t you register a relationship with a “wonderful woman” for seven years?

To tell the truth, having a sad but useful experience of my first marriage, I was in no hurry to sign with Marina. There were moments when it seemed to me that nothing good would come of us. I didn't want to take responsibility for her future. We applied twice to the registry office, but somehow it didn’t work out. As a result, they modestly signed after seven years of civil marriage.

- You mentioned the sad experience of the first marriage...

Yes... I met my first wife at the Shchukin school. We immediately fell in love with each other and began to live together, I was only 18 years old then, and two years later I proposed to her. I didn’t particularly want to get married, but I made a noble gesture, because Marina (Kharatyan’s first wife was also called Marina.) Was from out of town.

By that time she had graduated from the school, and she had nowhere to live. That's how she became my wife and stayed in Moscow. We lived together for 8 years. There was not much happiness, because you can’t get married so early. I still want to try everything, but here is the family!

How old was your daughter when you got divorced?

Sasha was four years old. For several years, as a Sunday dad, I took her for the weekend. I knew from my own experience how important it is for a child to communicate with his father.

My parents also divorced when I was six years old. For me it became a psychological trauma. I remember how they fought. We lived then in a communal apartment, in one room. Of course, I heard everything and was very worried. So I tried my best to make Sasha like my second wife. Now she communicates well with both Marina and her half-brother.

- You must have been happy when your son was born at almost 40 years old?

Well, of course! True, happiness was overshadowed by the fact that Marina had severe postpartum depression. And then, on top of everything, I spoiled her ...

- Who?!

My admirer. At first, some gifts, flowers came from her, then she invited me to move on to a close relationship. I refused bluntly. After that, Marina began to literally melt before our eyes. She lost so much weight that she could hardly get up, she often fainted. In addition, this same fan told one newspaper that she had a child from me, and to prove the opposite, I had to undergo an examination of paternity.

When it turned out that the child was not mine, this woman apologized, but Marina's illness did not stop. And I turned to my friend for help

Then, when Kharatyan was 12 years old, a counselor in a pioneer camp predicted his acting fate.

"On the way from the river, she suddenly said:" Dima, when you become a great artist and perform on stage, do not forget to invite me, please. in general, at first the TV fell, then Tatyana Ivanovna prophesied, where are you going to go? I had to go to the artists. "

In addition, he had musical data, he participated in the school ensemble, played the guitar. It was thanks to her that he got into the cinema.

Woke up famous at 17

When Dmitry Kharatyan was in the 10th grade, a girl he knew, with whom he spent the summer in a pioneer camp, called him "for company" to audition for a film studio, saying that they needed a guy who sings and plays the guitar. As a result, the girl herself, who dreamed of becoming an actress, did not even get a cameo role, and Kharatyan played the main role - a romantic boy with a guitar by Igor Grushko.

The picture "Joke" by Vladimir Menshov, released on screens in 1977, the audience greeted very warmly, the song from the movie "When we leave the schoolyard" became very popular, and 17-year-old Dmitry Kharatyan gained all-Union fame.

And now, when asked what kind of work the actor could present his work, he no doubt calls his first film "Joke".

"Because this is a significant film not only in my life, but also in the life, I hope, of a whole generation of my peers. This picture, by its emotional charge, has become a cult film of the generation, because it raised questions of the eternal plan: friendship, betrayal, love, kindness and evil, teachers and students.Despite the form of this film, which is now perceived, of course, as retro, its content remains relevant today.Because universal values do not change. In this sense, I think the picture is absolutely not outdated. For me personally this is the most expensive and important film, because it all started with her. It was the first experience, the first role, "the actor shared with Novye Izvestia.

Kharatyan and Pushkin

Despite his success, after graduating from school, Kharatyan was unable to enter the Shchukin School, and instead went on a geological expedition. But next year his attempt to get acting education were crowned with success.

“I knocked on Shchukinsky’s doors twice, and both times in vain,” he tells Novye Izvestia. “And then I easily entered Shchepkinsky’s doors, which gladly opened up to meet me. As a rule, if you stubbornly knock somewhere without an answer, then it's just not your door. You have to be able to hear the signs and sounds of fate. "

Simultaneously with his studies, Dmitry Kharatyan continued to act in films. In 1980, Vadim Abdrashitov's drama "Fox Hunting" was released, where Kharatyan played a small role of a negative hero. Then there were small roles in the historical adventure film "School" and in the drama "People in the Swamp".

In 1982, the year Kharatyan graduated, Marlen Khutsiev invited young actor for the role of Pushkin. Surprisingly, he saw in him a similarity with a Russian poet, but as a result, the shooting of the picture was curtailed. Allegedly, the artistic council of the State Film Agency told the director that an actor with an Armenian surname cannot play a genius.

Because of the work on the role of Pushkin, Kharatyan missed the opportunity to be assigned to the theater and he had to become a film actor. He starred in the adventure film "Green Van", the sports drama "Speed" and some others.

Two fire extinguishers

In 1984, Dmitry Kharatyan turned 24 and was drafted into the army. The young actor, who had just had a baby, could not "mow down".

"... I just couldn't "mow," I don't know why. bed or something to come up with I was already famous artist", - said the actor "Echo of Moscow".

He tried to get into a military ensemble, but he was not taken anywhere. Dmitry Kharatyan has already been assigned to rocket troops but he got lucky.

“I accidentally ... ended up serving in the internal troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs and I served in Moscow on the Yaroslavl Highway,” he says. “Moreover, they took me from the recruiting station of the railway. I was already standing in line undressed, bald, naked, with a personal file in my hands. I knew that I was assigned to missile point beyond the Urals, the team number was already there, that's all. And I see a young lieutenant walking along the line with a lyre in his buttonhole. And I know that he is definitely looking for me. He asks if there are musicians, I say that I am an artist. Naturally, I was completely unrecognizable. I was pale, "green", bald, naked. Just completely dead. He asked what kind of artist I am? I began to say that I higher education. He looked at the "Personal File", and there I already have twelve films. And he went and traded me for two fire extinguishers from that line."

About service in Soviet army, the actor admits, he does not regret: "The army is very disciplined, since you rely only on your own strength. ... In general, the army is a separate issue in life, a very serious test. But for me it is necessary and useful," he quotes site rusactors.ru.

Midshipman by vocation and origin

After the service, Kharatyan returned to cinema, and already in 1987 he became the idol of millions, playing the role of Alyosha Korsak in the historical adventure film by Svetlana Druzhinina "Midshipmen, forward!". Although, as the actor himself admits, he ended up in his most successful film by accident.

“My friend Yuri Moroz was approved for the role of Alyosha Korsak and was already filming,” Kharatyan told Arguments and Facts. “But then he was finishing his last year at VGIK, he had to shoot a graduation film and refused the role. Druzhinina had to urgently look for a replacement. Her husband, Anatoly Mukasey, advised her to watch "one boy" named Dima Kharatyan. I was invited to the set, and since the shooting was already in full swing, they did not audition. Druzhinina simply gave me notes and words and asked me to sing. And when I sang: "Spring without foliage, like life without love..." - she said: "This is it."

Later, Kharatyan, although he was very afraid of horses, did without an understudy on the set. "... but this is not from my great love for trickery, it's just that if in the "Midshipmen" an understudy did it for me, I would be left alone close-ups", - peoples.ru quotes him as saying.

After the release of the film, Kharatyan, Zhigunov and Shevelkov were immediately dubbed "Russian musketeers", they "pushed" the recognized heroes of Boyarsky, Smekhov, Starygin and Smirnitsky.

“... After the “Midshipmen”, some kind of madness began,” says the actor. “Letters came in batches, someone wrote that he was going to give birth to me, someone had already given birth, someone called their son Dima, someone Alyosha (in honor of my character) One girl actually came from Ukraine with suitcases to "marry" me.

According to a poll by the Soviet Screen magazine, Dmitry Kharatyan held the title of best actor for four years in a row - from 1988 to 1991, and the image of an aristocratic midshipman for many years became " calling card"actor. As it turned out, there were indeed midshipmen in the Kharatyan family.

"Apparently, it was no coincidence that I played a midshipman, because my great-grandfather was an officer in the Russian fleet - Pyotr Dmitrievich Tizenko (after my mother) ... Participated in many battles, including on the Varyag, by the way, he served at one time. And one of his sons, unfortunately, were shot in Kronstadt in 1917. And he was also an officer in the Russian fleet. So I am hereditary, a dynasty, "says the actor.

At the last stage

The 90s, difficult for cinema in general, were incredibly successful for Kharatyan. Among other works, he starred in the sequels of "Midshipmen" (1991, 1992), the detective story "Black Square", the comedy "On Deribasovskaya good weather, or It's raining again on Brighton Beach", in two films "Hearts of Three", in the continuation of "The Musketeers", the film "Queen Margot" and many others.

In the 2000s, he starred in the historical series "Secrets palace coups", played the brother of the main character in the detective series "Kamenskaya", the comedy series "Balzac age, or All men are theirs ...", etc. One of the best acting works of Dmitry Kharatyan in the mid-2000s is the comedy "Super mother-in-law for a loser" (2003) In total, the actor's filmography includes about 70 works in feature films and serials.

From the "Palace Revolutions" the role of Dmitry Kharatyan began to change, he began to play "exclusively charming bastards, vile bastards and inveterate villains." Kharatyan ceases to be a hostage of the romantic image.

"In fact, I grew up a long time ago. The time of midshipmen is already in the past. ... I am already a father, I already play fathers - I have grown to this stage. As in the saying about Santa Claus. ... A man has three stages of growing up: the first is when he believes in Santa Claus; the second - when he does not believe in Santa Claus, and the third - when he himself is Santa Claus. So I am Santa Claus myself, "Our Film website quotes Kharatyan's words.

Private bussiness

Dmitry Kharatyan is actually an exemplary father. His son Vanya turns 12 this year. Four years ago, he starred in Eldar Ryazanov's film "Andersen. Life Without Love" as little Hans-Christian, but otherwise he is an ordinary child who is fond of the same things as all his peers: toys, drawings, computer games.

“The main thing is to be alive and well. And he will choose his own path ... - says Kharatyan in an interview with Novye Izvestiya. - And I am not one of those fanatic parents who force their children to live, without fail following their - parental - ideas. The main thing - to be useful, even if not in the acting field. And there - time will tell. "

The eldest daughter of Dmitry Kharatyan from his first marriage, who was also born on January 21, will turn 25 years old. She did not choose an acting profession, she went her own way.

In total, the actor was married twice - and both times in the Marinas. He met his first wife at the Shchepkinsky school, in 1988 they broke up. With his second wife Marina Maiko on the set of the film "Private Detective, or Operation" Cooperation "(1989). Then she had just won the title of" Miss Tiraspol ", and she did not even know about the existence of the star Dmitry Kharatyan, because there were no films with his participation looked.

“I had to win her heart without the help of my popularity,” the actor admits.

Marina Maiko is an actress, but she does not consider acting to be the main business of her life. “It seems to me that in order to become an artist, you need to have considerable ambitions. I don’t have them. I just do what I like. ... The only ambitions that I have are Dima and Vanya. I am absolutely sincere. For me, the main thing is my life are these two men," she says.

Roots of eternal youth

And Dmitry Kharatyan admits that he "still has a lot of dreams": "I dream of marrying my son and raising a daughter. I dream of seeing them realized, fulfilled, healthy, happy. In general, my current dreams concern friends and relatives. I want to see their development."

“Everything should go, as in nature, on time and slowly. I like my time too. This is the age when I don’t worry so much about failures anymore, because they stimulate professional growth much more than successes. successes. The phase of collecting stones has come," says Dmitry Kharatyan.

The actor explains his youthfulness by the genotype and in a healthy way life - eight hours of sleep, moderate nutrition and sports. In an interview with Novye Izvestiya, he says: “I try to exercise, train whenever the opportunity arises, because I take care of my body, body, health. And not because I am a narcissist, but because an artist is obliged to keep himself in form, it is his tool that wears out, falls apart if you do not take care of yourself.

Childhood

Dmitry Kharatyan was born in 1960 in the Tashkent region in a family of engineers. His father taught at a technical university, and his mother worked as a civil engineer. Three years after the birth of their son, the Kharatyanov family moved to the Moscow region.

At school, Dmitry did not think about acting career. Like many boys, he was fond of sports - he played hockey and football. Music was another passion. Dmitry played the guitar well, and besides, he had outstanding vocal abilities early on. This allowed him to become the leader of the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Argonauts" in the pioneer camp "Meteor" near Moscow, where he rested from grades 3 to 10. That's how, together with the guitar, Dmitry got into the movie ...

Film debut

As often happens, Dmitry got into the cinema due to a combination of circumstances. When he was in the tenth grade, a girl friend Galya (who dreamed of becoming an actress) invited him along with her to audition for a film studio. It so happened that she did not even get an episode, and director Vladimir Menshov chose Kharatyan among several thousand applicants, entrusting him with the main role - a romantic boy with a guitar, Igor Grushko.

The picture, released on screens in 1977, was greeted by the audience very warmly, and Alexander Flyarkovsky's song "When we leave the schoolyard" became very popular. Dmitry Kharatyan instantly gained all-Union fame, numerous fans began to send him letters - all this could well turn his head. Fortunately, this did not happen.

Dmitry Kharatyan admits: “Probably the Lord saved me from temptation. Apparently, a sober assessment of his place in life helped. The head, of course, was spinning from success, but remained the same. The temptation of fame, success, power, wealth is one of the most serious trials for a person. Indeed, at the age of 17 I woke up famous. And I still can't understand how I got through this temptation and managed to survive. Just a miracle... So many people broke down, especially at an early age, when a person is still so weak...”

School them. Shchepkina

Following the "Rally", Dmitry was invited to play the main role of Sergei in Anatoly Vasiliev's melodrama "Photograph on the Wall". So further profession was predetermined. True, he failed to enter the theater school immediately after school, and Dmitry went to work in the exploration party. But the following year, he was nevertheless admitted to the Shchepkin Theater School, where he studied in the workshop of Mikhail Ivanovich Tsarev.

There, at the school, Dmitry met his first wife Marina. In January 1984, their daughter Alexandra was born. But in the future family life didn't work out and they broke up.

Simultaneously with his studies, Dmitry Kharatyan continued to act in films. In 1980, Vadim Abdrashitov's psychological drama "Fox Hunt" was released, where Kharatyan played a small but sharp, socially and psychologically exact role Strizhak's bones are one of the few in their creative biography negative roles. Then there were small roles in the historical adventure film "School" (based on the works of Gaidar) and in the drama "People in the Swamp".

In 1982, Dmitry was invited by director Marlen Khutsiev to play the role of Pushkin. Kharatyan recalls: “When I got a call from Khutsiev and was offered this role, I thought that someone was joking very stupidly. I asked a girl who introduced herself as Khutsiev's assistant: “Have you seen me alive for a long time? My sideburns don’t seem to grow, and even my hair doesn’t curl.” But then Khutsiev explained that he saw me in the diploma film of a young director. I was there in the role of a lieutenant, riding a tank, all dirty, and looked not like Pushkin, but like Hannibal. Khutsiev, apparently, traced this related parallel and began to try me.

However, this role never materialized. The reason was the artistic council of Goskino, where Khutsiev was told: “Marlen Martynovich, you are crazy! Pushkin is the genius of the Russian people, and here is some teenager, and even with the surname Kharatyan. As a result, the principled Khutsiev canceled the shooting of the picture.

Work on the role of Pushkin was the reason that Kharatyan missed the opportunity to be assigned to the theater - in 1982 he just graduated from college. As a result, he became a film actor. The following year, the adventure film "Green Van" was released, where Kharatyan brilliantly played the role of investigator Volodya Patrikeev. This work approved him in the role romantic hero, while demonstrating the comedic talent of the actor.

In the same year, Kharatyan starred as a young racing driver Grigory Yakovlev in the sports drama Speed. But in Karen Shakhnazarov's comedy "We are from jazz" he failed to act in film. Dmitry was supposed to play the main role, but the artistic council intervened here too - they again did not like the surname. As a result, Igor Sklyar was approved. “It’s a pity for this film, because during Karen’s auditions I was in good shape, I played freely and easily, and I worked with the artists and the director in perfect harmony,” says Dmitry Kharatyan.

Army

In 1984, when Dmitry was 24 years old, he was drafted into the army. By then he had had enough famous actor. He could have tried and "mowed down", but, as he himself admits, his conscience did not allow. True, he tried to ease the conditions of service by getting a job in some military ensemble. However, nothing came of this venture.

The draft board was about to send him to the rocket troops, but then one lieutenant identified him as a popular actor. He then contributed to the distribution of Dmitry to Moscow, to the fire department No. 5103. But this did not make his service any easier ...

Already from the first days he had to deal with hazing. Moreover, fame did not help him much in this. Rather, on the contrary, some military personnel especially liked to emphasize their superiority over their famous colleague. So he had to experience humiliation, and fights, and a lip ...

And yet ... “I do not regret that I served,” Kharatyan admits. - The army is very disciplined, because you rely only on your own strength. In general, the army is a separate issue in life, a very serious test. But for me, it is necessary and useful.”

Midshipmen

Dmitry Kharatyan did not immediately get into the "Midshipmen". Initially, the role of Alyosha Korsak was supposed to be played by Yuri Moroz. Together with other heroes - Sergei Zhigunov and Vladimir Shevelkov, he had already begun filming. But in the future, he himself refused the role due to the fact that at that time he was graduating from the last year of VGIK and was busy with his thesis work.

The director of the film, Svetlana Druzhinina, had to urgently look for a replacement. Kharatyan was offered to see her by her husband, cameraman Anatoly Mukasey. Dmitry was invited to the set, and since the shooting was already in full swing, they did not conduct tests. Svetlana Druzhinina simply gave him notes and words and asked him to sing. As soon as Kharatyan sang: "Spring without foliage, like life without love ..." - she said: "This is it."

The film "Midshipmen, forward!" was released in 1987 and immediately made a splash. The midshipmen were immediately dubbed "Russian musketeers", and this is no coincidence. A gripping plot, wonderful songs, beautiful, fearless heroes - all this to some extent echoed with famous movie about D'Artagnan. At one time, Boyarsky, Smekhov, Starygin and Smirnitsky became idols, now Kharatyan, Zhigunov and Shevelkov.

Dmitry Kharatyan recalls: “After the “Midshipmen”, some kind of madness began. Letters came in batches, someone wrote that they were going to give birth to me, someone had already given birth, someone named their son Dima, someone Alyosha (in honor of my character). One girl came from Ukraine with suitcases to "marry" me...

The image of the "Russian Musketeer" Alyosha Korsak in the costume-historical television series has become Kharatyan's "calling card" for many years. After the release of the film, the actor held the title of the country's most popular artist for four years in a row according to the Soviet Screen magazine.

1988-1995

After "Midshipmen" Dmitry Kharatyan became a real movie star. Now the audience was waiting for each of his new work. And they hurried to follow - successful and not very ...

Among the comedies of the late 80s - early 90s, Leonid Gaidai's painting “Private Detective, or Operation Cooperation” should be noted. The film was a good success with the audience, although it was much weaker than the previous works of this illustrious director. The main role of private detective Dima Puzyrev was to be played by Alexander Kuznetsov, known for the film Jack Vosmerkin - American. But for objective reasons, he was forced to abandon filming. Then Dmitry Kharatyan was invited.

Actor in Once again demonstrated an undoubted comedic talent, and Gaidai staged his next film, “Good weather on Deribasovskaya ...” (1992), especially for him. However, it must be admitted that this comedy was even weaker than the previous one.

The first half of the 90s was generally very busy for Dmitry Kharatyan in terms of work in the cinema. Kharatyan's comedic talent was also used by director Anatoly Eyramdzhan, who invited him to play several grotesque roles in the film New Odeon (1992), and two years later, one of the roles in the film The Groom from Miami.

A wide resonance, and precisely because of Kharatyan, was caused by Andrei Razumovsky's painting "Muzzle" (1990). In this film, Dmitry, unexpectedly for everyone, played the boorish gigolo Gena, which shocked many of his fans. Some even expressed open indignation at this role.

In 1991, the screens released the second film about midshipmen - "Vivat, midshipmen!". Dmitry Kharatyan and Sergey Zhigunov again starred here, and Vladimir Shevelkov was replaced by Mikhail Mamaev. The film turned out to be quite good, but it did not reach the level of the first "Midshipmen". One of the reasons was that young Ekaterina (Kristina Orbakaite) was introduced as the main characters. The midshipmen were assigned the role of the background. They rode horses, fought... Only the hero of Mikhail Mamaev to some extent created some intrigue, being in love with the future empress. A year later, "Midshipmen-III" came out, where Alexander Domogarov already advanced to the first roles ...

The undoubted success of the actor should be considered his role in the film by Yuri Moroz (the one whom Kharatyan replaced in the first Gardamarins) Black Square. In this political detective, Dmitry had a chance to star with the outstanding actor Vitaly Solomin. In the film, their heroes investigated a murder in which the top leaders of the state were involved.

Dmitry Kharatyan played a bright, albeit small role as a pilot in the film "Hearts of Three-2", in which his old friends Sergei Zhigunov and Vladimir Shevelkov also starred. Another great success for the actor was the work in the film "The Secret of Queen Anna, or the Musketeers Thirty Years Later" directed by Yungvald-Khilkevich. Here Kharatyan played two diametrically opposed roles - King Louis XIV of France and his twin brother.

But the film "Cockroach Race" (1993) Kharatyan considers one of the most unsuccessful in his career. As well as "The Mysterious Prisoner", in which the actor starred back in 1986. And yet, to the question - if he could turn back time, would he refuse these films - he answers: “No, I would not refuse. It has been in my life and continues to be. This is my path, my experience, both positive and negative. Everything that comes with this experience in my life is positive.”

Second half of the 90s

In the mid-90s, there were finally changes in the actor's personal life. Dmitry met a young actress Marina Maiko back in 1990 on the set of the film Operation Cooperation. (Marina at that time starred in the film "Sunset"). Love broke out between them, but they officially formalized their relationship only in 1996. Two years later, the couple had a son, Ivan.

But in creative life the actor had some difficulties. Domestic cinema was in decline. Looking for a way out of this situation, Dmitry Kharatyan in 1995, together with friends, actress Marina Levtova and her husband, director Yuri Moroz, opened the Kino club, in which he became an art director.

In the same year, Sergei Zhigunov began filming the first large-scale costume series in Russia. The famous novel by Alexandre Dumas "Queen Margo" was chosen for the film adaptation. For the role of La Mole, he invited his longtime friend Dmitry Kharatyan, and he himself played his friend Coconnas.

After the end of filming, when the film was dubbed, an incident occurred between Sergei Zhigunov and Dmitry Kharatyan, which led to a break in their friendly relations. Both of them do not like to stir up the past, neither will we. But to the great regret of their fans, the relationship was never restored ...

The second half of the 90s was marked by the arrival of Dmitry Kharatyan to the theater (recall that after graduating from the theater school, the actor was not engaged in theatrical activities). In 1997, he played his first debut role on stage as the dreamer and romantic George in the play "About Mice and Men" based on the novel by John Steinbeck (directed by M. Goreva), staged by the theater partnership "Moscow Entreprise".

In a new role

Since the late 90s, many different series have been filmed in Russia. Dmitry Kharatyan was also in demand again. Together with his wife Marina Maiko, he was invited by Svetlana Druzhinina to the historical film epic "Secrets of Palace Revolutions". Here Dmitry brilliantly played the role of Dolgoruky, the mentor of the young Peter II, while Marina played the daughter of Menshikov. A whole constellation of magnificent actors was involved in this picture: Sergey Shakurov, Alexei Zharkov, Natalya Egorova, Nikolai Karachentsov, Natalya Gundareva, Elena Korikova, Georgy Martynyuk, Vladimir Ilyin, Marina Yakovleva, Natalya Fateeva, Alexander Lazarev, Alexander Belyavsky and many others. Top notch actors! It is no coincidence that the series, released in 2000, was a great success with viewers.

In the same 2000, Kharatyan played in the detective series "Maroseyka 12" and "Kamenskaya" (series "Death and a Little Love" and "Reluctant Killer").

By the way, it was with the "Palace Revolutions" that the role of Dmitry Kharatyan began to change. Now he is increasingly being invited to the roles of the so-called "charming bastards." Then he admitted: “I understand that I am taking a big risk, because the audience may not like it. After all, they fell in love with me in the image of a positive hero. But I still decided to change, and now, starting with Svetlana Druzhinina's "Secrets of Palace Revolutions", I play exclusively charming bastards, vile bastards and inveterate villains. Time has shown that in this role Dmitry is still loved by the audience.

Producer activity

Since 2002, Dmitry Kharatyan began to try himself in the field of a producer. His first experience was the melodrama "Atlantis" (directed by Alexander Pavlovsky), in which Kharatyan also played one of the main roles. The film received a special prize at the Kinotavr festival. Dmitry Kharatyan admits: “The film “Atlantis” is a landmark not only in my biography, but, I think, it is also important for a huge number of people living in our country. Everything connected with him is very dear to me.”

Two years later, Kharatyan acted as a producer of Sergei Ursulyak's film "The Long Goodbye" based on Trifonov, and a little later, the film "Victory Day in the middle of the war", which tells about the fate of musicians in besieged Leningrad.

"Super mother-in-law for a loser"

The brightest acting work of Dmitry Kharatyan for last years was the comedy "Super-mother-in-law for the loser." The film turned out to be amazingly funny and interesting, and the main merit in this is Dmitry Kharatyan and Mikhail Efremov, the performers of the main roles.

According to the scenario, the bandit Lenya (Kharatyan) must find the lost cipher from the safe where the diamonds are locked, otherwise he will be killed. But the cipher accidentally ends up with the sports commentator Sergei (Efremov), for whom the Hunt begins ... As a result, the hero of Efremov first changes into a woman's dress, and then the hero of Kharatyan, which further exacerbates the comedic effect.

“Women in disguise is a wandering plot,” the director shares, “but each time it can be retold differently. In this film, I decided to show the classic relationship between son-in-law and mother-in-law. I forced the man - Efremov - to change into his mother-in-law. At the audition, she reviewed many men, dressed each one as a lady. Efremov and Kharatyan made excellent aunts. Efremov is a variant of Ranevskaya, and Kharatyan is a lyrical Turgenev young lady, pregnant, as usual.

Dmitry Vadimovich Kharatyan (January 21, 1960) - Russian actor, known for his roles in film and theater. He has the title of honored and People's Artist Russian Federation.

Childhood

Dmitry was born in 1960 in sunny Uzbekistan. However, just three years later, the family moved to the Moscow region. The boy's parents were engineers, his father taught at the institute, and his mother was engaged in construction. Both had nothing to do with creativity.

Dmitry himself did not think about anything like that. Most of all he was attracted to sports. He enjoyed playing football and hockey, and performed very successfully. After some time, music entered his life. It turned out that Dmitry sings very well. This talent allowed him to become the soul of the company. He mastered the guitar and for a long time gave concerts for his yard friends.

Resting in a children's camp, Dmitry used his talents for the first time and organized his own ensemble. VIA had big success However, this did not give the boy the idea to connect his future with music.

Path to cinema

One fine day, fate nevertheless turned out so that Dmitry got into the cinema. It happened, as expected, by accident, when the guy agreed to accompany his friend to the audition.

Vladimir Menshov selected young guys for his film "Joke". They were supposed to play students of the 9th "B" class. Familiar Kharatyana did not suit the director, but he himself came in handy. Not last role a guitar played here, which Dmitry took with him. It was with her that he appeared on the screen in the role of Igor Glushko.

The picture was enthusiastically received by the audience. Dmitry not only declared himself as a promising actor, but also received a bonus in the form of an army of fans.

Studies

Soon Dmitry was invited to the film "Photo on the Wall". This time the director offered the guy the main role. This helped him finally decide on his future.

After graduating from school, he decided to enter the theater school. However, the first time he did not succeed. Excessive self-confidence has a negative effect young man, who already saw himself as a star and did not consider it necessary to devote much time to preparation.

Disappointed, Dmitry packed up and went on a geological expedition. After spending a year away from the capital, he gathered his strength. The next attempt at admission turned out to be brilliant, the selection committee enrolled a talented young man in the course of Mikhail Tsarev.

During his studies, Dmitry actively acted in films. In 1980, he played one of his few negative roles in Fox Hunt. This was followed by work in the "School" and "People in the swamp."

After graduating, Kharatyan did not get into the theater, so he returned to the screens again. In the film "Green Van" he played a romantic hero, after which this role was firmly entrenched in him.

Military service

Dmitry was 24 years old when he was drafted into the army. In those years, it was not yet common to avoid service, and therefore Kharatyan became ashamed to use his fame to "slope."

However, she still helped him get into the Moscow fire department. It cannot be said that this was a plus as a result - hazing flourished, Kharatyan had to get acquainted with all their manifestations. But he never regretted his experience.

Midshipmen

For the role in the film "Midshipmen, forward!" Dmitry was approved without a trial, as the director Svetlana Druzhinina liked him so much.

Released on screens in 1987, the film instantly won the hearts of thousands of viewers. Surprisingly, it is still watched with no less interest. Then Kharatyan instantly turned into a star of the first magnitude. For several years no one could surpass him in popularity.

Dashing nineties

In the 90s, Kharatyan had many roles. Unlike most of his colleagues, he did not know what the lack of demand. However, not all of his work could be called successful.

Most of the comedic roles were not to the taste of the audience and critics. It was not that Kharatyan did not have enough talent, it was just that the scripts and their implementation were frankly weak.

Failed to rise to the bar of the first film and the second part of the "Midshipmen". However, this did not prevent the appearance of the third. However, in the sequels, the main characters were no longer given so much attention.

Of the successful works, one can single out "Black Square", "Hearts of Three-2", "Musketeers 30 Years Later".

Significant was the participation of Kharatyan in the series "Queen Margot". The picture not only allowed him to plunge into the historical atmosphere again, but also deprived him of a good friend, Sergei Zhigunov. Kharatyan had a serious conflict with him, the details of which are not known to anyone.

In the late 90s, Dmitry finally got into the theater. The experience turned out to be successful, the play "On Mice and People" received positive reviews from critics.

Series

Soon TV series began to take over. Russian cinema began to actively shoot them. Kharatyan did not stand aside. On his account of the role in the "Secrets of Palace Revolutions" - a wonderful costume epic.

The police tapes "Kamenskaya" and "Maroseyka, 12" were to the taste of many fans of the genre.
