Which president died in a year. One of America's richest entrepreneurs dies

Let's remember. Football people who passed away in 2016

Seeing off the history of 2016, let's remember the people of football, for whom he was the last in his life - Cruyff, Ilyin, Isaev ...

Let's remember. Football people who passed away in 2015

2015 was full of not only bright football events, but also mournful moments. Let's remember those who left...

(30.09.1970 - 07.01.2016)

The Shustikovs are a dynasty unique for our football: three generations of players have written their names in the annals of the capital's Torpedo. In the first days of the year, the average representative of the galaxy, the son of the former defender of the "auto factory" and the father - the current one, did not become. Sergei Viktorovich has been a faithful companion of Leonid Slutsky for many years - in Moscow, in CSKA. He won the championship and the Cup in this capacity. Alas, he did not have time to realize himself in independent practice - he died on the night of January 6-7 from a heart attack.

“The ambulance was gone for an hour and a half ...” Sergey Shustikov died in the arms of his wife

Sergei Shustikov's wife, Natalya, talks about the last minutes of her husband's life, who died on January 7.

Anatoly Ilyin (06/27/1931 - 02/10/2016)

For six decades, there has been an eternal dispute over who actually held the only ball in the final of the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne. And the contenders for the authorship of the historic goal are no longer alive. The namesakes and former teammates Ilyin and Isaev died in one year, with an interval of five months. One goal achievement by Anatoly Mikhailovich certainly would never occur to anyone to challenge - he was the first to hit the gate in the final stage of the European Cup. Fact!

How did the fate of the Olympic champions of Melbourne-1956

On December 8, 1956, the USSR football team won the Olympics for the first time in history. We tell how the fate of the champions developed.

Trifon Ivanov (07/27/1965 - 02/13/2016)

The bearded man from Veliko Tarnovo remembers well not only the older, but also the middle generation of fans. In the Bulgarian team of the 1990s there were personalities that were brighter, but more desperate, fearless - hardly. The defender with the appearance of a ferocious pirate was the same personification of a colorful team as the rebel Stoichkov. Among the few goals of Trifon, the one scored against the Russian national team stands apart - after all, he paved the way for the “brothers” to the 1998 World Cup! At the end of his career, Ivanov voluntarily went into the shadows, was engaged in the gas station business. The reason to remember the charismatic bek arose at the beginning of this year, and the occasion, alas, is sad - a heart attack ...

(25.04.1947 - 24.03.2016)

Three people have been awarded the Ballon d'Or three times in the last century. One of them left this world in March 2016.

With his life, Cruyff disproved the popular stereotype that supposedly a brilliant player, in principle, cannot be a great coach. Johan - became. His leadership experience was disappointingly short, but Cruyff used this ten years to the maximum effect. His "Barca" of the last century was considered an icon of the attacking style. She fascinated, carried away the indifferent to the territory of football. That is why the grief of fans around the world for the Flying Dutchman was so deep and genuine. Johan quit smoking back in the early 1990s, but after a quarter of a century, the addiction still reminded of itself with an incurable disease - lung cancer ...

He taught me to love football. On the death of Johan Cruyff

Johan Cruyff played football long before I was born, but it is thanks to him that my generation and I learn to love and understand the game.

Igor Volchok (10/04/1931 - 04/20/2016)

IN work book Igor Semyonovich must have had no clean pages left by retirement - he was so active and easy-going in the coaching field. The names of his students - Semin, Averyanov, Gazzaev, Petrakov, Shevchenko, Berdyev - will say better than words about the pedagogical gift of a person ...

(05.02.1932 - 03.04.2016)

Paolo is rightly considered the most successful representative of the Maldini football clan (his two offspring are only taking their first more or less firm steps on this path). But Cesare went down in history not only as "the dad of that same Maldini." He was the first in the family to win the Champions Cup with Milan and went to big tournaments with the Italian national team. These commands are highlighted in track record Coach Maldini. And in both he mentored Paolo: in the club as an assistant to the chief, in the national team as coach No. 1.

Evgeny Lemeshko (12/11/1930 - 06/02/2016)

Lemeshko twice raised the crystal bowl of the USSR Cup over his head: as a player - with Dynamo Kyiv, as a coach - with Metalist. But his descendants will be remembered not only for sporting achievements. Evgeny Filippovich was a real, as they would say now, a generator of catchphrases. Witty aphorisms "from Lemeshko" went to the people and began to live an independent life. And the legendary bike under the conditional name "Colleague the vacuum cleaner" to this day is transmitted by football people from mouth to mouth in various variations.

(04.07.1932 - 10.07.2016)

Isaev is the last of the heroes of Melbourne-1956 - after half a century! - received a government award (a colleague in Spartak and the national team Alexei Paramonov patted high ranks). But sports medals in the life of Anatoly Konstantinovich were in abundance - only four gold ones! Before the 60th anniversary of the first grandiose victory of the national team, Isaev did not live only five months.

(08.05.1916 - 16.08. 2016)

If in Soviet football the unspoken title "Unsinkable" was owned by Vyacheslav Koloskov, then in world football he rightfully belonged to Havelange. For 24 years, from 1974 to 1998, the Brazilian official commanded FIFA. The facts revealed in the new century - and numerous facts - of receiving bribes have tarnished Don Joao's reputation. Only old age helped Havelange avoid criminal liability and live out his life in freedom. Havelange died at the age of 101 in his native Rio de Janeiro during the Summer Olympics.

(23.01.1962 - 08.06.2016)

Only two people have won the African Cup as a football player and coach, and both are no longer alive: the Egyptian Mahmoud El-Gohari died in 2012, the Nigerian in 2016. Stephen only survived his wife Kate, with whom he lived for 30 years, who died of cancer, by only six months. Keshi was brought to the grave by a heart attack.

Vladimir Dolgopolov (12/24/1961 - 06/12/2016)

Dolgopolov met the 30th anniversary of the first and only victory of Zenit in the USSR championship in captivity. The former football player was charged under the article “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim”, namely, the second wife of Natalia. Dolgopolov denied his guilt in beating his wife, but was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Still, Vladimir Mikhailovich did not end up in the colony: on June 12, 2016, he died of an ischemic stroke.

At the 38th year of his life in Sumy, the famous Spartak midfielder Artyom Bezrodny died in the past.

"Chapecoense"

On November 30, the Brazilian club faced the final match of the Copa Sudamericana with the Colombian team Atlético Nacional. A plane crashed near the Colombian city of Medellin on November 29. Of course, this is far from an exhaustive list. famous people who left in 2016. The outstanding actor Vladimir Zeldin died on October 31. The 101-year-old actor urged everyone not to be afraid of old age, and his expressions became real

Here we are at the end of 2016. The last days of December are the time for summing up, drawing up plans for the near future. Many people are in an exciting anticipation of the holiday and the long-awaited vacation. Nevertheless, in the process of preparing for the meeting in 2017, it is worth paying a little attention to the sad episodes of the past 12 months, namely, to honor the memory of outstanding people from the world of music who have passed away from us. They won't play any more concerts for us, they won't record new albums, they won't give interviews. Mentally, we will thank them for everything they have done, and we will try to prevent their work from sinking into oblivion in the future.

A number of music fans complained about leap year, unnecessarily difficult and harsh in relation, including to legendary artists. Of course, the world of music has suffered large-scale and irreparable losses. In addition, January turned out to be especially rich in sad news, which set the appropriate atmosphere for all subsequent months. But, nevertheless, in fairness, we should not forget that many famous figures of rock and pop, who shone back in the 1960s and 1970s, have already reached a respectable age, so their death does not look untimely. Although, of course, for fans this is little consolation. And not all famous musicians who died in 2016 were elderly people. Anyway, let's remember some of them again. Let's pay tribute to the departed and appreciate those who stay with us more carefully.

David Bowie

10.01.2016, 69

Accurately at the end of the New Year holidays in Russia, the news of David's death thundered like a real thunder in the clear winter sky. It took time to realize and come to terms with this fatal and inexorable sequence of events: January 8 - birthday, January 9 - the release of a new album, January 10 - the death of a musician. A lot has been written about Bowie and more will be written later. A rock chameleon, an immensely talented and influential person who left behind an unusually rich and diverse creative heritage that will inspire many generations of musicians. However, people who are not indifferent to David's work know perfectly well that he did not die - he just flew off to live on Mars.

Glenn Fry

17.01.2016, 67

The next major loss in the music world was the vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist of the Eagles, one of the most commercially successful bands in the history of rock music and perhaps the most American in spirit. Glenn co-wrote all of the band's key hits. In the 1980s and early 1990s, while the underworld was slowly freezing (as Don Henley, who explained the possibility of an Eagles reunion), Fry did not waste time, achieved success on his own, tried his hand at cinema. In the 21st century, the musician's health began to fail, and in 2016 he lost a long-term struggle with ailments.

Jimmy Bain

Jimmy Bain rose to prominence when Ritchie Blackmore invited him to Rainbow, recorded his imperishable masterpiece Rising with his help, then hastily fired him, and later asked him to return. But Jimmy showed a proud disposition and rejected the offer of a wayward and authoritarian guitarist. His career was followed by the short-lived project Wild Horses, collaborations with John Cale, Phil Lynott, Gary Moore. Jimmy gave a lot of years to the Dio group, and his contribution to the successful existence of the team was not only performing, but also authoring.

Colin Wyrncombe

26.01.2016

Colin Wyrncombe, aka Black, the head of the ensemble named after his pseudonym and a solo artist, in Russia and around the world is considered one of the most prominent representatives one-hit wonder. The song Wonderful Life became his fame and his curse. Originally a sarcastic response to the author's life troubles (Wyrncombe's mother became seriously ill, his marriage was upset, he lost his contract with the label and he actually had nowhere to live), the composition completely subjugated his fate and his creative impulses. Colin himself admitted that he used to compose a good thing, he seemed to be pleased with the result, but his head was spinning "after all, this is not Wonderful Life." Not only did the public underestimate the musician, he tormented himself with such disastrous comparisons. But he continued to carry his cross and record. In the 2010s, he even managed to come to Russia and find out that he is very much loved here.

On January 12, 2016, Colin was in a car accident, his injuries led to the death of a romantic artist. Maybe someday his other creations, in addition to the famous hit, will be appreciated by a wide audience.

Paul Kantner

28.01.2016, 74

On January 28, one of the main rebels of American psychedelic rock, Paul Kantner, left our world. Having become one of the founders of Jefferson Airplane, it was Paul who became both a creative soul and a kind of carrier of the team spirit. He is the only musician who participated in all the incarnations that had the word-prefix Jefferson in the title (we should not forget also the KBC Band, and Paul managed to collaborate with Hot Tuna as well). As a songwriter, Kantner was distinguished by his versatility - both topical political texts and sci-fi lyrics came out from under his pen.

Some time after Paul's death, it turned out that on the same day, Signy Toli Anderson, the first vocalist of Jefferson Airplane, passed away with him.

Sir George Martin

08.03.2016, 90

"The Fifth Beatle", George Martin became the guiding and guiding force that made The Beatles a phenomenon in the history of popular music. Under the leadership of Martin, studio experiments were carried out, which significantly expanded the ideas of contemporaries about the possibilities of sound recording. It was George who became the main initiator of adding orchestral arrangements to the songs of the Liverpool Four. Yesterday, Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, I Am the Walrus, Eleanor Rigby, A Day in the Life - let's not say that without Martin they would not have become hits, but they definitely would have turned out differently. And do not underestimate the contribution of the producer. Someone may say that arranging songs is a secondary matter, the writer is still more important, since he gives birth to an idea. In fact, to bring the work to mind - the task is no less difficult. You can read at least the memoirs of Sir George himself about what wishes John Lennon expressed to him in order to understand that working with creators is not at all easy. The Beatles were very lucky to have met a man like Martin on their way, who, with his experience, coupled with a subtle sense of sound attractive to the audience, was able to give the band's recordings the proper appeal.

From the production work of George of the "post-Beatle" period, we note the collaboration with Jeff Beck, the trio America, as well as the wonderful album Quartet by the Ultravox team (Martin was inspired to do this work by his daughter - a big fan of the aforementioned ensemble). Sir George died in his sleep at the age of 90.

Keith Emerson

10.03.2016

In the 1960s, rock music was not yet perceived by many, especially by the older generations, as a serious cultural phenomenon and in general something worthy of attention. It took some effort to change the situation. Of course, even then a number of guitar virtuosos showed themselves in all their glory, but nevertheless, it is necessary to note the special role of keyboardists in bringing together classical music and rock and recognizing the latter as a full-fledged art form. Of the "big three" masters of the organ, piano, mellotron and related instruments, which traditionally include Jon Lord, Rick Wakeman and Keith Emerson, the latter was perhaps the main experimenter. He loved to master technical innovations, find interesting sounds, try different combinations of instruments. Keith lived for music, he needed it like air, he worked for wear and tear, because of which his health sometimes let him down. It is not surprising that such a dedicated person, realizing that due to age, the former form can no longer be returned, could not come to terms with this. Deprived of the opportunity to perform high level, Emerson made the terrible decision to end his life.

Prince

21.04.2016, 57

In the 1980s, Prince was the perfect pop star. Independent (and very sensitive to everything that can limit his freedom of expression), able to independently record the entire instrumental part and arrange his compositions, the artist, skillfully shocking and provoking the audience as appearance and witty lyrics. Short in stature, Prince radiated such energy that he was firmly entrenched in the title of one of the best showmen of his generation. In his work, he did not shy away from bold decisions, skillfully crossing traditional musical styles with new technologies.

Prince's death outwardly came out ridiculous - an overdose of an anesthetic drug. But his health has long left much to be desired (many details of the artist’s poor health were announced only after his death), therefore, we can conclude that the musician’s death could have been much more painful, and the real outcome is by no means worst case. Well, in the memory of fans, Prince will forever remain a broken, cheerful and unusually active performer.

Nick Menza

21.05.2016, 51

Drummer Nick Menza, a member of the "classic" line-up of Megadeth, died suddenly of a heart attack on stage. The son of a jazz musician, Nick, already at the age of 2, being taken by his parents to a concert, was planted at the installation during the intermission. In fact, his entire conscious life is connected with percussion instruments, and death also took him away during his beloved work. There is an opinion that this is the best possible end of the life path for a musician, but, in the case of Nick, there is a feeling of understatement that many more projects with his participation could take place. Now it remains only to recall the past exploits of one of the most prominent drummers of heavy music.

Alan Vega

16.07.2016, 78

The New York music scene of the 1970s was extremely rich in a wide variety of talents, but even in such a company, Alan Vega stood apart. He skillfully created a mysterious aura around his person, presenting information about himself through the press in small portions. In particular, for a long time it was believed that Alan was 10 years younger than he really was. As part of the Suicide duo, Vega brought the aesthetics of the first albums of The Velvet Underground to a logical (that is, extremely minimalistic) conclusion. The group's cult debut album was released in 1977. At the same time, the Ramones were raging in New York, releasing their most furious albums. But said quartet was a traditional guitar group. Suicide, despite the similarity with the Ramones in the deliberate simplicity of the compositions, with their synthetic monotonous sound, were much more radical. And Vega's otherworldly vocals, interspersed with screams, sobs and mutterings, perfectly complemented the unsightly picture. Alan was a true singer of the ugly underside of modern urban reality. If you listen to the later works of the singer (for example, Station in 2007), then we can conclude that radicalism and uncompromisingness have not betrayed him even at a respectable age. Although, in the last years of his life, Alan still paid more attention and time to painting, since it did not require such physical activity as music.

Leonard Cohen

07.11.2016, 82

At one time, Leonard Cohen, a poet and novelist, came to music as a mature, mature person. As a result, he always had the image of a kind of musical patriarch, a sage who knows something that others don't. Each album of Leonard became an event, and with age, he not only did not lose the interest of the public, but constantly increased it. Cohen's trademark insinuating deep voice is one of the most recognizable in music. In recent years, one could only marvel at how Leonard, at the age of 80, recorded records one more luxurious than the other. Alas, now life path came to an end. Shortly before his death, Cohen managed to release his last studio album - "You Want It Darker" - which became a kind of musical testament of the artist. From the calm, humble and unshakably firm "I"m ready, My Lord" in the title track, it is cleaner than from other hysterical vocal escapades. You can readily believe that Leonard Cohen really told people everything he wanted, and met death with dignity.

Leon Russell

13.12.2016, 74

An unusually charismatic and charming performer, Leon Russell was considered a living legend in American music. In addition to a successful solo career, he collaborated with many stars. who owned several musical instruments The musician was always happy to involve The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Byrds, George Harrison, Frank Sinatra and others. Russell's multifaceted talent allowed him to work in a wide range of genres.

Greg Lake

7.12.2016, 69

2016 was truly fatal for the members of the famous trio Emerson, Lake & Palmer. In early spring, Keith decided to take his own life, and in December, death took Greg as well. Participation in two key progressive rock bands at once (ELP and King Crimson) Lake earned himself the widest fame and honor. Greg was gifted in literally every aspect. An outstanding instrumentalist combined with extraordinary vocal talents. A serious interpreter of the classics, and a very gifted author and composer (both music and lyrics). Lake also proved himself as a producer. His death, which followed just a few months after the tragic death of Emerson, was a blow to fans. Now many are waiting for Greg's autobiography, which was supposed to be released several years ago, but will not be available for sale until 2017. The musician named it after his first song - Lucky Man. Well, let Greg, with all his merits, remain in our memory and just like lucky Man. After all, how many people in their declining years can say about themselves in a similar tone?

Rick Parfitt

24.12.2016, 68

One of the two permanent members of the Status Quo group, who went through all the ups and downs with the team, for a long time led a reckless lifestyle of a real rock star, in which there was a place for drugs, cigarettes and alcohol. Rick did not care about any advice and recommendations from doctors. For the time being, however, the creative activity of the musician and his group still remained at its best, but 2016 became fatal for Rick. A heart attack, disagreements with his wife worsened his condition. The immediate cause of death was an infection that developed in the body of a musician after a shoulder injury. Status Quo will continue to exist, but it won't be the same without Rick.

George Michael

25.12.2016, 53

The idol of millions of teenagers in the 1980s and 1990s, a stylish singer and talented songwriter, George Michael left the earthly world on the next Christmas, which became his last. The sad symbolism of this event (after all, many people associate George with the Christmas song Last Christmas) has already been noted by admirers. There were major successes in the artist's career, and a number of scandals happened. General impression is such that George could have done much more, but this seems to be yet another example where the image (in this case, a wealthy hedonist, adopted back when Wham was created!) subjugated the personality and life of a musician. Although, with all the contrition due to Michael's unrealized opportunities, nonetheless those wonderful songs that he recorded cannot be canceled.

The outgoing year brought us a lot of sad news: star people - actors, musicians, singers - who left a bright mark on the history of world art, have passed away. And, probably, it would be fair for them to remind everyone of these great names.

Carrie Fisher

She called herself a "product of Hollywood". The future actress was born in Beverly Hills in the family of the famous singer Eddie Fisher and Hollywood actress Debbie Reynolds. With this alignment, it may seem that her life is determined for fame and success. Moreover, since childhood, little Carrie dreamed of becoming an actress and from the age of 17, together with her mother, she took part in the musical "Irene", and two years later - in the film "Shampoo". But her path was different. Despite the fact that in her filmography there are such films as "Heartbreakers", "When Harry Met Sally", "The Blues Brothers" and others, only the role of Princess Leia in Star Wars brought her worldwide popularity ...

But Fischer never gave up. In addition to filming a movie. She also had a writing job! During her life, she released about 10 books, and the last autobiographical one, The Princess Diaries, became fatal for her. It was for her presentation that the celebrity flew to London, and on the way back on the plane her heart stopped. Already in Los Angeles, the 60-year-old actress was taken to the medical center. Reagan, where she was put on a ventilator. The miracle didn't happen. Four days later, on December 27, she died. She reported the death only daughter, 24-year-old actress Billie Lourd.

Debbie Reynolds

Carrie Fisher's mother, 85-year-old actress Debbie Reynolds, died the day after her daughter's death. Together with her son, she organized the funeral of Carrie, but at one point she felt ill, in the hospital they could no longer help her. Debbie had a heart attack amidst a lot of stress. She passed away on December 29, 2016.

Debbie Reynold (real name - Mary Frances Reynolds) was born on April 1, 1932 in Texas in the family of a railroad carpenter. At the age of 16, she won a beauty contest in the city of Burbank, where at that time she lived with her parents, and some time after that she received a contract for filming a movie from the famous company Warner Brothers.

Debbie mostly starred in comedies. Recognition all over the world brought her the picture "Singing in the Rain", in which she also established herself as a good dancer and singer. Throughout her life, she has played more than 70 roles. In 2015, Debbie received the US Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award.

She was married three times. But all marriages ended in divorce.

George Michael

George Michael was a legend in his lifetime. Hardly anyone can argue with this opinion, despite the scandalous nature of the great singer and composer. He was born on June 25, 1963 in London. From his Cypriot father, he inherited a bright appearance, from his mother, a dancer and a native Englishwoman, he inherited remarkable musical abilities. According to George, he was completely under the care of his sisters, who literally blew dust off his brother. It was probably hard to imagine that this shy and timid boy would become a famous singer, the idol of a multi-million army of fans. And each of his output they will meet with a storm of delight and almost carry on their hands.

George's stellar career began in 1981 with the creation of the duo Wham! The first concerts on stage brought unprecedented fame and public recognition. However, George was already cramped within the framework of this musical union: he wanted creative space, the opportunity to create. It all ended with the fact that the duo broke up, and Michael went to free bread. And the very first solo album "Faith", released in October 1987, caused a real boom among admirers of the pop singer's talent. Over 16 million funk discs were sold in a short time, breaking all records in the US.

The two-time Grammy winner was a complex and controversial person. The name of George Michael did not leave the pages of the yellow press. It seemed that he could not live a day without a scandal, without a noisy story in which he would be involved. And it is strange that this outstanding man lived stormily, and passed away quietly and mysteriously. Michael George died at the age of 53 in his sleep on December 25 this year in his apartment in London. His death caused a shock in the music world, because the singer and composer was full of creative plans. It was expected that he would surprise us again with another stellar album. Did not work out. Michael George, it turns out, was a wonderful poet, a subtle and sensitive nature, a man of a generous soul. After the death of the great singer, it turned out that he donated huge amounts of money to charity, helped strangers in need, and even worked as a volunteer in a homeless shelter.

Peter Vaughn

He was a real patriarch of British cinema, Peter Vaughn - a unique actor who played about 200 roles in films, was born on April 4, 1923 in Shrewsbury. After working a little in one of the theaters, he went to military service. Having paid his debt to the country, Peter Vaughn became seriously interested in cinema. True, at first he did not win special laurels. On big screen Peter appeared in 1969 in an almost cameo role. Over time, the actor realized that he was not drawn to the on-screen Hamlet, so once and for all he got used to the images of the second plan. And a whole series of roles of policemen, agents and gray-bearded wise men went on, which, I must say, he was great at. But finest hour in the career of Peter Vaughn came when the actor was well over 80. Bright image the old blind maester Aemon in the popular series "Game of Thrones" brought him belated fame. The 93-year-old actor died at the peak of his fame, surrounded by the care of relatives and friends, on December 6, 2016.

David Bowie

David Bowie was born on January 8, 1947 in Briston, England. It is he who in many years will be called a man of mystery and a genius of rock music. Already in childhood, David had an indefatigable character. And in general, there was an impression that his every act was a challenge to a prim society, deeply seated in its decent shell. Already later, everyone will be surprised by the refusal of knighthood. David will consider that there are more serious things above royal grace. For example, music, which he fanatically loved and was well versed in it. They say that in order to buy a saxophone, David even had to work as a peddler in a butcher shop.

The brilliant rise of his career took place in the autumn of 1969, when David Bowie's song "Space Oddity" was released, which immediately won the sympathy of the listeners. I must say that David's talent was so multifaceted that he amazed even his friends. For example, he often acted in films. And critics found his game bright and impressive. David once played superbly on the theater stage in Bertolt Brecht's play Baal. And during his creative life, he sold more than 140 million copies of albums. Truly, this is a unique achievement! It was natural and habitual for David to surprise the audience with unexpected stage images. So he remained in the memory of numerous monuments. And when he passed away, everyone suddenly felt an irreplaceable loss. And David Bowie died of a serious illness on January 10, 2016 - two days after his 69th birthday.

Rene Angelil

The famous music producer Rene Angelil was born on January 16 in Montreal, Canada. He was attracted to music since childhood, and after graduating from school, after much deliberation, he decided to become a producer. Although he was once even a member of a rock band. Incredible business skills and natural charm made Rene one of the most successful producers. He gave the green light to many stars. But the brightest of them, guiding and beloved will be Celine Dion. He first met her as a twelve-year-old girl and was captivated by Celine's talent. And seven years later something incredible happened. Celine fell in love with this charming young man, Rene Angelil did not hide his feelings. She was not at all embarrassed by the fact that the chosen one is 26 years older than the singer. And Rene, inspired by love, did everything possible and impossible for Celine. Thanks to his efforts, she became a star of the first magnitude, achieved world fame. But, to our deep sadness, the tender and romantic love story, warmed by family happiness, was interrupted by the serious illness of Rene Angelil. He bravely fought her to the end. “I want to die in your arms,” he once said to Celine Dion, the only woman he loved in the world. René Angelil passed away at the age of 73 on January 14, 2016.

Alan Rickman

A charming screen villain, whom we have always admired, the brilliant actor Alan Rickman was born on February 21, 1946 in Wales. He was not a darling of fate and, according to him, he owes much in his life to his mother, a simple woman who raised four children after her husband's death. It was she who, at the cost of titanic efforts, arranged Alan for an elite school, where the young man received an excellent education. At first, theater became his creative element. The scene completely captured Alan, he successfully played in many productions. But the glory of the brightest and most charming Hollywood villain was already waiting for him. And the first film "Die Hard", in which he cunningly opposed the positive hero of Bruce Willis, became a stepping stone to the Olympus of world recognition. Then Alan Rickman will win many prestigious awards, but he will remember this role with special warmth. A world fame it will come to him in the films about Harry Potter: the image of Professor Snape, a gloomy sorcerer with an insane gleam in his eyes, has become a favorite for millions of viewers. Alan has been sick a lot lately, but we all hoped that this actor, known for his strong character, would overcome all ailments. He died on January 14, 2016, a month before his 70th birthday.

Natalya Krachkovskaya

Photo frame from the film "12 chairs"

“A sultry woman, a poet's dream” - textured Madame Gritsatsueva from the film “12 Chairs”, the role of which was brilliantly performed by Natalya Krachkovskaya, entered the history of our cinema. And the actress herself was considered a charming prisoner of the comedy genre.

She was born on November 24, 1938 in Moscow, her father Leonid Belogortsev was a Terek Cossack, and her mother Maria Fonina was an actress. Who would have believed that Natalya grew up as a thin girl. This often served as a reason for the ridicule of street boys. And the grandmother, seeing her, said to her: “What is your soul kept in?” Therefore, out of the best of intentions, she began to fatten her granddaughter. So much so that Natasha turned into a charming plump, who knows no end to gentlemen. The girl was fond of history and at the same time, against the will of her mother, she dreamed of becoming an actress. But first she made an attempt to enter the prestigious VGIK. And the first pancake was not lumpy.

Photo by Sergey Dzhevakhashvili/"Antenna - Telesem"

Speaking of pancakes: being famous actress, Natalya Krachkovskaya loved to invite guests to her own pastries, which everyone simply admired. Note that at that time in the VGIK reception room there was nowhere to fall from the huge influx of incoming applicants. Natalya was rescued by Ivanushka the Fool's monologue from Yershov's fairy tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse". That's how she entered "on a skate" in this educational institution.

Natalya Krachkovskaya never complained about her creative destiny: She liked to play supporting comedic roles. And the audience was always sure that without the participation of this charming fat woman, the film would lose a lot. Natalya Krachkovskaya never lost optimism even when she was overcome by illness. She participated in many popular programs, giving them her own special charm - her sparkling humor. Natalya Krachkovskaya died at the age of 77 on March 3, 2016, leaving a bright mark on people's memory.

Albert Filozov

Photo: frame from the movie "Night Fun"

His role as an actor is somehow imperceptibly to play brilliant roles, to create an unforgettable image with mean colors. This is what distinguished Albert Filozov from others. He was born on June 25, 1937 in Sverdlovsk. Actors and writers were not listed in his pedigree. Probably for this reason, Albert went to work as a turner at the factory, cherishing the dream of the theater in his soul. But soon Fortune smiled at him: in 1955, the visiting commission took Filozov to the Moscow Art Theater School. Perhaps this was fair to him: after all, soon the theatrical world, capricious for praise, will receive one of the best Russian actors. Albert Filozov will achieve fame and, as a director, his stage productions will be widely known.

He has played many roles in films. Albert Filozov received European fame for participating in the film "Tehran-43", superbly playing the image of Scherner - a hardened Nazi. Of course, most of his creative life was occupied by the theater. However, Albert Filozov did not shy away from acting in television films, giving them his own special flavor. He was a private person, but always came to the aid of his colleagues. He was loved by the students whom Albert Filozov taught acting skills. Filozov went to his students even when he was terminally ill. He died at the age of 77 on April 11, 2016.

Vladimir Zeldin

Photo: frame from the film "The Pig and the Shepherd"

Vladimir Zeldin, a unique actor and person, a true legend of the national theater and cinema, showed the world the wonders of creative longevity. He was born on January 28 (February 10), 1915 in Kozlov, part of the Tambov province. The most cherished childhood desire was ballet. Vladimir really wanted to enter the choreographic school, but could not resist the will of his father, who saw the future of his son in the profession of a musician. Then Vladimir became interested in the sea and saw himself in the form of a military sailor. None of the above professions became the main one in Zeldin's life.

In the early 30s of the last century, he entered acting courses at the MOSPS Theater - and forever became a "hostage" of Melpomene. Vladimir Zeldin is a man of good fortune: he met with Vladimir Mayakovsky, Alexander Vertinsky, Vasily Stalin, whom he met at the cavalry arena. All-Union fame came to him with the popular film directed by Ivan Pyryev "The Pig and the Shepherd", where he played the role of a handsome and stately highlander.

He devoted most of his work (more than 60 years) to work in the Theater Soviet army. And all admirers of his talent were always happy and pleased to see this actor on stage, who, it would seem, did not know old age at all. He died at the age of 102 on November 3, 2016, having lived a bright life spanning a century. Vladimir Zeldin was buried with full military honors at the Novodevichy cemetery.

Anton Yelchin

He was our man in Hollywood, even if separated by oceans and continents. Anton Yelchin was born on March 11, 1989 in Leningrad. But Anton did not have to settle in the city on the Neva. In the same year, his parents, the famous Soviet figure skaters Viktor Yelchin and Irina Korina, emigrated to America.

When Anton grew up, his father and mother did not resist the desire of his son to become actors. The boy was clearly not attracted to the sports career of a figure skater, he preferred theater and cinema. Anton studied acting easily, grasped everything on the go. His first creative debut took place in 2000: he starred in the famous series " Ambulance". Anton knew how to wait and work, not stopping at the achieved result. And in 2006, a young, promising actor, finally came a serious success. He starred in the company of recognized Hollywood stars Sharon Stone. Bruce Willis, taking part in the film "Alpha Dog" directed by Nick Cassavetes.

The role of Zach Mazursky opened the way for Anton to fame. Eminent Hollywood directors began to invite him into their films. Anton Yelchin was full of creative plans and bright hopes for the future. But, apparently (however sad it is to say), his fate had a short life. On June 19 this year, a ridiculous accident will end the life of a 27-year-old talented actor. He will forget to put his car on the handbrake, which, rolling back, will crush Anton ...

Prince

Prince Rogers Nelson was born on June 7, 1958 in Minneapolis. His father, Lewis Nelson, was a renowned pianist and composer, and his mother, Matti Dela, was a jazz singer. Of course, such a musical family determined the creative fate of Prince. As a teenager, he played several instruments superbly. Time will pass, and Prince is recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of our time.

A breakthrough to the hearts of the listeners, whom he conquered with his remarkable talent, was 1984. At this time, the disc "Purple Rain" was released, along with the film "Purple Rain". Prince's success was overwhelming: music world I saw and felt that an original singer and composer appeared in its ranks. From that moment on, Prince will embark on various creative experiments, changing his own image and style. “For the fact that I write “slave” on my cheek, they call me crazy. But who am I if I can't do what I want? When a person is not allowed to dream, he becomes a slave, ”he will one day say bitterly, painfully perceiving criticism addressed to him. Stormy creative life exhausted Prince, he became irritable and unpredictable. And it even seemed to those close to him that by his actions the musician was bringing his tragedy closer. Once, in order to rid himself of pain in the hip joint, Prince takes strong medication. And the heart of the great musician could not stand it: he died at the age of 57 on April 21, 2016.
