What happened to Mikhail all around? Singer Mikhail Krug was killed in Tver. Mikhail Krug - Vladimir Central

Biography

Mikhail Vladimirovich Vorobyov (best known under the pseudonym Krug). Born April 7, 1962. A native of the Republic of Russia, the ancient city of Tver, located on the Volga River. During the Soviet era, the city was called Kalinin. Krug's activities are singer and poet (popularly he was called the king of Russian chanson). Died July 1, 2002.

Life with a guitar

Born as the second child, Mikhail lived all his youth in the Proletarsky district. The family was housed in a small room in the barracks. Growing up in an accounting and engineering family, the boy did not perform well in a regular school and regularly missed classes. In addition, he studied at a music school. However, he quickly abandoned accordion lessons - he liked the game, but solfeggio lessons were very tiring. He was fond of playing hockey (Mikhail was a goalkeeper), and enjoyed playing football with the guys.

At the age of six, when he first heard Vladimir Vysotsky, Mikhail immediately fell in love with his work. Krug mastered the guitar given by his father for his birthday by the age of eleven, after a neighbor showed him a few simple chords. Written at the age of fourteen, the first poems were dedicated to a classmate. One day, a terrible scandal broke out at school; it was caused by Mikhail’s performance of one of his idol’s songs.

Having received a matriculation certificate, Krug entered the Kalinin Art School, where he mastered the profession of a car mechanic. Here my studies were much more successful, since Mikhail always liked cars. After graduation, he was drafted into the army. He served in Ukraine, in the village of Lebedin. After serving, he returns to his native Tver and gets a job delivering dairy products. In this position, Krug almost ended up on trial. He swapped the milk and sour cream cans that were delivered to the party nobility with those intended for commoners. Naturally, the difference in quality was huge. The action infuriated the authorities. But everything worked out, and a decade later Krug was even appointed to a leadership position.

He was married and his father-in-law and mother-in-law categorically insisted that he receive a higher education. To avoid conflicts, Mikhail went to the Polytechnic, where, by the way, his solo career began. However, the chansonnier was of little interest in training, as well as in a leadership position. Soon he drops out of school and returns to work as a simple driver.

Stages of creativity

In 1987, Mikhail learned about a competition for performers of original songs, with Evgeniy Klyachkin on the jury. Excessive excitement ended with a drink for courage. He sang a song about Afghanistan and eagerly awaited the results of the judging. Talent young singer was appreciated, and he rightfully received first place among the performers who came to the competition from all over the country.

The success greatly inspired Mikhail and, having recorded under the pseudonym “Krug”, he released “Tver Streets” at a recording studio. The song “Morozovsky Town” was written by the singer in honor of the Proletarsky district, where it took place youth life. Subsequently, two more albums were recorded, which were later stolen by “pirates”. The theft led to a huge circulation of albums and their enormous popularity. His next official recording, “Zhigan-Limon,” brought true fame to the singer. It was recorded in 1994 at the Soyuz recording studio. Krug personally financed the recording, which cost him a lot of money, but he himself did not receive any money.

All his songs instantly became hits, which quickly made him a chanson star. The abundance of thieves' slang led many to think about the singer's prison past, however, his awareness was not related to the arrest. He drew all the phrases for his songs from the specialized NKVD dictionary, which was released in 1924 for internal use by employees. Mikhail acquired this “treasury of information” quite by accident at a local flea market.

Only singers performing in the chanson style reacted favorably to Krug’s work. Representatives of the so-called “official” stage accused Mikhail of the fact that his work is aimed at meeting the needs of people from the criminal world. Adding heat to the fire was the fact that the singer’s songs were really liked by criminals. In addition, he often traveled to prisons and colonies, where he performed concerts for prisoners.

1996 was marked by the release of the next album, called “Live String”. The singer’s high popularity in his homeland led to Mikhail Krug’s participation in the Russian chanson festival in Germany. The Russian-speaking public warmly accepted Krug. That same year, soloist Svetlana Ternova appeared in his team, and he began performing songs from the repertoire of Alexander Belolebedinsky.

The album “Madame” was the fourth album in a row, released in 1998. It included one of the most famous songs of the Circle, “Vladimir Central”. The song was rated ambiguously by listeners: some listeners perceived new hit“with a bang,” the other half of the audience criticized the work for being too “romanticized” about crime. Based on unconfirmed information, Krug dedicated this song to his friend, the authority Sasha Sever.

In 1998, the chansonnier went on tour across America, his concerts were organized in several towns. The tour brought the bard “Ovation” in “Russian Chanson”. In 2000, Krug’s next album, “Mouse,” was released and he went on another tour, this time in Israel. As always, Mikhail’s songs are extremely popular among listeners. The album “Confession” was released posthumously, in 2003. Krug managed to record it, but did not live to see its release.

Actor career

Mikhail Krug was so famous in 1995 that a film was made about his life called “The Bard Mikhail Krug.” This is not the singer’s only film role. On February 20, 2002, Russian cinemas released the feature film “April”, with Krug in leading role. It is not surprising that the film is about criminal showdowns.

In 2005, the film “Vladimir Central” was released, starring Alexander Severny, and the plot describes the life stories of the heroes from the songs of Mikhail Krug. Naturally, the singer himself did not take part in the filming, however, all the sound tracks belong to him, and the tape is thoroughly pierced with the spirit of chanson from Mikhail Krug.

Personal life

Krug met his first wife in 1986. The student played solo guitar in the institute’s band. Svetlana supported her husband in everything - she closely followed the planned competitions and chanson festivals in order to take part in them and develop her talent further. As a matter of fact, the first All-Union chansonnier festival also came about thanks to Svetlana. In love with each other and united by a common love of music, they got married the next year and soon had a son.

However, oddly enough, family life didn't work out. Constant scandals and the division of leadership in the family, coupled with the acute dislike of Svetlana’s parents for their son-in-law, took their toll and in 1991 the couple separated. Mikhail took custody of his three-year-old son. Many consider an additional reason for the divorce to be the fact that, unlike Svetlana, Mikhail did not graduate from a prestigious university.

Krug met his next wife, one might say, at work. Irina Glazko was the team's costume designer. Both previously divorced and with children from previous marriages in their arms, they found kindred spirits in each other. Two years later they had a common son, named Sasha.

Death of a chansonnier

Little Sasha was not destined to recognize his father's affection. Krug's life was tragically cut short summer night from June 30 to July 1. Unknown people broke into his house in Mamulino near Tver. At that time, the whole family was gathered: Mikhail’s mother-in-law, wife and children were getting ready for bed. Having immediately penetrated the top floor of the house, the criminals first attacked Irina’s mother. The spouses came running to the scream. At that moment the attackers started shooting. The bullets hit Krug, who was covering Irina. Irina ran away, and Mikhail received two wounds incompatible with life. Deciding that the singer was dead, the criminals fled, the chansonnier’s strong body was able to overcome the leaden severity of the wounds and reached a neighbor, to whom his wife fled. It was Vadim Rusakov who took Krug to the Tver hospital, but all the efforts of the doctors were in vain, and on the morning of July 1, Krug died.

At this time, the police were working in the bard’s house, and an ambulance team was providing assistance to Irina’s beaten mother. Fortunately, the singer's children were not harmed. The farewell service was held on July 3. Funeral procession of people who came to see Mikhail Krug off last way, stretches for several kilometers. At the funeral there were not only colleagues, fans and numerous friends, but also politicians and government officials.

Versions of the investigation and acquaintances

Both the investigative authorities and Krug’s acquaintances put forward two main versions of the murder. According to the first, the singer died as a result failed attempt robbery. It was during this period that Krug recorded “Vladimir Central 2” in a duet with Tsyganova, for which the singer was entitled to an impressive fee. The second version speaks of a carefully planned contract murder.

6 years later in Tver, the Tver Wolves gangster formation, which was directly related to the murder, was arrested. It was in the gang member, Alexander Avgeev, that Irina identified the man at whose hands her husband died. However, the fact of the crime was not proven and Avdeev received life imprisonment for other crimes.

The investigation lasted for more than ten years, and only in 2014, information was received from the leader of the detained gang that Krug was killed by the hand of Dmitry Veselov, who had died by that time.

Not forgotten...

Despite the fact that Krug’s life was short and tragically cut short in his prime, he is not forgotten. His songs do not lose their relevance at all, the number of fans is only growing. In 2007, a bronze monument was erected in his city. Krug, sitting on a bench, leans on his guitar and seems to be resting before presenting his audience with another masterpiece.

In memory of the Circle, a mini-series was filmed, repeating the biography of the singer. Mikhail Krug lived a short but bright, eventful life. An avid homophobe who rejected any manifestations of feminism and conservatism, he was a member of the Liberal Democrats. Furthermore, was an assistant to the leader of education - Vladimir Zhirinovsky for culture.

Mikhail Krug is a great chansonnier who will forever remain in the memory of numerous fans. Who took his life and for what? We will consider all versions of the murder of Mikhail Krug in the article.

The death of Mikhail Krug and the still unsolved crime

Even today, the question of who is the killer of Mikhail Krug haunts fans of his work. Forty days after the singer’s death, a concert was organized in his memory, where a huge number of famous performers performed. The event was held in the city of Tver at the Khimki stadium. In one of the songs even then one could hear a version of the murder. It said that the death of the chansonnier occurred from an ordinary gopstop robbery. This version is supported by many people, although there are those who are sure that it was a contract killing.

In what year was the murder of the great singer committed?

In what year was Mikhail Krug killed? The date of his death is 07/01/2002. According to the stories of Irina, Mikhail’s wife, on this day the whole family returned home late in the evening, and everyone began to mind their own business. Somewhere around 12 at night, Irina heard the muffled screams of her mother. It turned out that the criminal in a black mask hit the woman hard on the head with a pistol and tried to strangle her. When one of the criminals noticed Irina, he immediately ran up the stairs after her. Hearing the screams of his wife, the head of the family immediately ran to help. Shot, wounded, Mikhail Krug falls unconscious on the floor.

Meanwhile, Irina managed to run out of the house and rushed to her neighbors for help. What happened at that time between the singer and unknown people in black masks will now never be known. Most likely, according to investigators, Mikhail woke up and again fought with them, unfortunately, in an unequal battle, as a result of which he received another wound. There was a huge amount of blood on the floor, traces of the footwear of the criminals and the bare feet of the singer. After the villains fled the crime scene, Krug hurried to the neighbors, from whom he was taken by ambulance to the department of the city hospital. But, unfortunately, despite the fact that the doctors tried with all their might to fight for the life of Mikhail Krug, closer to the morning he left this world.

Who killed Mikhail Krug?

After the incident, the investigative authorities began to seriously investigate the crime. They looked at everything possible options this event. The circle of suspects was huge. It included drug addicts, scumbags, competitors in show business, virtually all of his acquaintances, friends, current and past.

Who killed Mikhail Krug? In fact, even his close relatives were among the suspects. As the investigation suggested, Mikhail could have had a strong quarrel with them shortly before his death. For example, the performer’s wife even took a lie detector test. Even today there are a huge number of versions of the death of the great chansonnier. Why was Mikhail Krug killed? The most popular versions will be described here.

The first version is a murder by ordinary thugs

Why was Mikhail Krug killed? It's no secret that his work was mainly addressed to robbers and thieves. Many also know that he was known in these circles and had good connections with the criminal world. It all started from the moment the chansonnier began to engage in creativity. At first, he sang at virtually all the birthdays of Tver and other authorities. Therefore, no one could even think that this person might have problems with criminal gangs.

That is why a version immediately arose that the killer-robbers turned out to be ordinary thugs - unprofessionals who did not even know whose house they had snuck into. But this version also has so-called weak spots. Mikhail was shot from a TT pistol, which is simply impossible to acquire. In addition, there is reason to believe that the robbery was planned. That day there was supposed to be a fireworks display on the embankment, and around this time, when the criminals entered the house, it began. Most likely, the robbers were sure that the singer and his family would not be at home at that time.

The second version of Mikhail's murder - order

Initially, it was this version that became incredible not only for professionals, but even for beginners criminal life. It is very difficult to imagine a killer who ran away from his ordered victim. Many neighbors say that shots were heard even when singer Mikhail Krug tried to catch up with the robbers. Another rule of professional killers is not to leave your order alive. And they were able to take Mikhail to the hospital, where he had difficulty, but was still able to answer the doctor’s questions.

It was also very strange that the killers entered the house. At that time, there was a wave of contract killings throughout the city, but they were all committed according to the same scenario - several shots and from afar. Most of all, of course, this resembled not a contract killing, but a desire to rob the chansonnier’s cottage.

Mysterious group or the third version of the murder of M. Krug

Why was Mikhail Krug killed? Not long ago, not far from the place where the chansonnier once lived, an attack was carried out on the residents of one of the cottages. Unknown persons, just as then, entered the living space. They tied up everyone who was in the house, took out all the most valuable things, and disappeared without a trace. As the victims themselves say, these were masked people who had a gun with them. Judging by how many were stolen, a car was waiting for the robbers somewhere nearby. The owner convinces that one of the kidnappers had a strong Caucasian accent.

After some time, according to the same plan, an attack was carried out on the office of a company in the very center of the city. The police were never able to solve these two crimes. The handwriting of the criminals is very reminiscent of the actions of the people who broke into the house of the famous singer that evening. The criminals similarly entered the house and tried to neutralize the singer’s mother-in-law. And if Mikhail had not rushed at the criminals, forgetting about caution and self-preservation, then, most likely, it all ended in robbery, not murder.

Version of the death of Mikhail Krug, provided by Hanna Grinevich

Why was Mikhail Krug killed? According to the woman, the singer’s death could also be beneficial to his wife Ira. According to her, in not a single interview did Irina mention how much she loved her husband, but with great pleasure she talked about the expensive gifts Mikhail gave her. She also found Irina’s phrase meaningful: “After all, he’s Krug.” It turns out that the woman did not perceive her husband simply as ordinary person. Also, in one of the interviews, she said that her husband was always against her performing and singing. As soon as he was gone, the woman immediately had access to the stage. In addition, she also had access to his name. The considerable fame and memory of this singer helped her immediately become no less famous. In addition to all this, Irina still has all the archives of the Circle, which she can use at any time.

It also turned out to be strange that the wife and her mother were the first to stand in the way of the killers, but for some reason they shot exclusively at Mikhail. The head of the family called the ambulance for himself, not she. And many other facts indicate that his wife Irina benefited from the death of her husband.

Another version - revenge of thieves in law

One of the newspapers in the city of Tver expressed its version of the murder of Mikhail, which said that the crime could still have been committed by “thieves in law”, with whom he, in turn, managed to quarrel because he did not actively want to contribute money to the thieves' common fund. As it was written in the newspaper, many thieves were aware that the exclusive rights to the new disc with the great artist’s chanson were valued at a fairly decent amount - $300,000, but the performer did not agree with the price of the Moscow companies and asked about $500,000 for it.

Also, allegedly the thieves knew that this disk was in Krug’s house, and it was this that they were going to steal, but they didn’t succeed, and they had to shoot at the singer. Naturally, until the crime is solved, even this version has a place, although it is hardly worth taking much into account, since there are many nuances that completely refute it.

Mikhail Krug's grave

After the death of the great singer, his family decided to provide financial assistance from his colleagues, the city administration and even people from the criminal world.

In what year Mikhail Krug was killed is known to all his fans. On July 3, 2002, the chansonnier’s coffin was delivered to the theater in his hometown of Tver. It was there that a civil memorial service was held, which was attended by a huge number of people. After this, Mikhail was taken to the funeral service at the Resurrection Cathedral.

The chansonnier was buried in a cemetery near Tver - in Dmitrovo-Cherkassy. At the grave of Mikhail Krug there is a huge monument made of black marble, where next to a photograph of the great chansonnier his name is written in large letters.

Childhood

Circle is the stage name of the artist, real name which Vorobyov. He was born into a family far from art. His father worked in the highway department, his mother was a simple accountant. There was also in the family eldest daughter- Olga. Mikhail's father dreamed that his son would learn to play the accordion, and the boy was sent to music school early.

Teachers noted that the child had excellent musical abilities, but he lacked perseverance. Little Misha did not have the slightest desire to spend hours learning scales and soon abandoned music lessons, which gave way to football and yard games with the boys.

Actually, the entire childhood of the future artist was spent in the yard. There he first heard tape recordings of Vysotsky, with whose work he fell madly in love once and for all. There he first picked up a guitar when he was not yet 11 years old. There he met his first love, to whom he wrote his first poems.

And school teachers constantly complained to parents about their unlucky son, who systematically skipped school and almost never taught homework. That's why high school was completed with difficulty and somehow, after which Mikhail entered Professional institute to become a repairman, deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Sharp turn

After college, Mikhail was drafted into the army. As usual, after serving he returned and almost immediately married a girl from a good intelligent family, whose parents categorically insisted that her son-in-law go to college. Perhaps the son would have followed in his father’s footsteps if he had not accidentally seen an announcement about an art song competition.

He decides to try his hand and unexpectedly takes first place. E. Klyachkin indirectly prevented the young talent from returning to his usual activities, whose words that Mikhail real talent, and it must be developed, sank into his creative soul.

Mikhail decides to collect his songs and independently creates his first original album, “Tver,” in a small recording studio.

To the author's surprise, the debut album sold out instantly. Mikhail records two more with new songs, which also quickly find their many admirers. The Circle's songs begin to be copied onto tape recorders, sung in courtyards, and distributed through pirated means. Inspired by success, in 1994 Krug released his first official album, which included his best songs “Zhigan-Lemon.” And the next morning the author wakes up famous.

At the pinnacle of glory

Soon after the presentation of the debut album, Krug goes on a tour of the provinces, which ends with a triumphant performance in Moscow at the Russian Chanson festival. After which his first video for the song “It Was Yesterday” was shot, which was immediately sent into rotation on the central television channels of Russia.

Back then, albums by popular artists were distributed on regular cassettes, for which Krug and his group still had not received a fee for recording them. Later it was re-recorded onto CDs, and for this Krug received the first money - $3,000, although all the work on the album cost him a much larger sum.

But the main thing is that his songs were heard and loved by millions of people across the country. The cassettes were played to death, the discs were copied and played on auto-repeat. The tours lasted for several months, during which the artists could work 2-3 concerts a day. And by 1998, there was no longer a person in the country who did not know such a performer - Mikhail Krug.

By 1997, Krug and his group went on a foreign concert tour for the first time to Germany, where the musicians performed mainly in front of a Russian-speaking audience. And in 1998, he received his first prestigious music award “Ovation” in the “Russian Chanson” category, becoming on a par with Russian pop stars.

Krug's popularity was significantly increased by his filming in the crime film "April", where he played the role of a thief in law. He succeeded so brilliantly in this role that rumors immediately spread across the country that he had a criminal past behind him. It is reliably known that Krug had no criminal record, but his connection with crime bosses still remains a legend.

Krug's songs very quickly became popular not only in the courtyards, but also in Russian prisons. They had life-like plots, plausible texts and were replete with thieves' jargon. Maybe that’s why the legends about the Circle’s involvement in the world of thieves were born.

And very few people knew that most of the criminal words and expressions were taken by the author from a rare printed publication - a dictionary for NKVD workers, produced in 1924, which Krug accidentally bought at a flea market and never parted with.

Another mystical item was the famous ring with three large diamonds, presented to Krug by the thief in law Khobot, but under what circumstances and on what occasion is not known for certain.

Perhaps some kind of connection between the Circle and the top of the Russian criminal world still existed. Lead the real reason The murder of the talented bard has still not been solved, although it happened back in 2002 in the singer’s own Tver house.

A robbery was committed on the house, during which the bard’s mother-in-law was injured, and he himself received two gunshot wounds, from which he died in the hospital.

The most obvious version for a long time It was considered a simple robbery attempt. But it was, as they say, “sewn with white thread,” since the Circle was under the unspoken patronage of thieves in law and it is unlikely that anyone without an order from above would have decided to attack the singer’s house.

Most likely the murder was ordered and carefully planned. But this version remains unproven, and the killers have not been found.

Mikhail Krug was buried in his native Tver. His songs still continue to be heard and remain loved by many listeners. By the way, back in 1994, after he had just become famous, they filmed a film about him documentary. But it was shown to a wide range of viewers only in 1999, at the very peak of the artist’s popularity, having lain on the shelf for more than five years.

After the death of Krug, relatives created a special fund that collected money for a monument to the singer, which was erected in 2007 and a museum in his memory was opened, where you can buy recordings of songs and badges with portraits and symbols of the poet. Every year at the end of June, bard song festivals are held under his name, which open the way to the stage for young talented performers.

Personal life

Krug's first marriage soon broke up. From him Mikhail left a son, whom he took away from him through the court. ex-wife and left it with me. Having completely immersed himself in creativity, Mikhail completely forgot about his personal life for some time. But time takes its toll, and later he decides to build a new relationship.

On Monday night in Tver, a robbery was committed on the house of singer and composer Mikhail Vorobyov, widely known under the pseudonym Mikhail Krug, ITAR-TASS reports.

According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Tver region, in a private house, where Krug lived, two unknown people entered, presumably for the purpose of robbery. The singer suffered gunshot wounds.

The criminals fled the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital, Interfax reports. Without regaining consciousness, Krug died in the operating room.

The police quickly arrived at the scene of the incident. The city has introduced "Siren" and "Interception" action plans. The special operation to search and detain the criminals did not produce results.

A criminal case has been opened into the robbery and is being investigated by the regional prosecutor's office.

Comment from the prosecutor's office

The secretary of the Tver region prosecutor's office, Galina Malyuta, clarified that the attack on the house where the singer lived was committed between 23:00 and 0:15. According to updated data, there were at least two attackers, they were armed firearms and wore mask caps with slits for the eyes.

Mikhail Vorobyov, who went by the stage name Krug, received several gunshot wounds to the chest. The singer's relative also suffered minor injuries.

The investigation has so far avoided concluding that the attack was carried out specifically on the singer’s apartment. The house on Osvobozhdeniye Street where the singer lived was a three-story cottage, and, in addition to the Krug family, other people lived there.

The death of the Circle is an "extremely strange event"

The death of Mikhail Krug is “a great loss for art, for the music industry, and for all Russian listeners,” he said on the radio station "Echo of Moscow" program director of radio "Chanson" Vadim Nalivaiko.

“It’s an extremely strange event that someone dared to raise their hand against a person of such fame and such a degree of popular love,” Nalivaiko said. According to him, Krug was “a courageous, strong man - a real man, nevertheless, he was a very lyrical, subtle poet and person. General impression about him - a talented and courageous Russian man. His songs are sincere, and millions of people felt it."

The singer was killed because of money, his colleagues believe

Poet and producer Vadim Tsyganov, who worked with singer and composer Mikhail Krug, believes that the reason for the latter’s murder was money. "Although there may be many versions, he communicated with different people and was not afraid of this communication,” added the producer. “He probably had a lot of enemies, but he is a straightforward person and clearly expressed his position.”

According to Tsyganov, in September he and Mikhail Krug planned to release a joint album. At the same time, the producer noted that he is “not ready to discuss” the issue of future fate this album.

Krug just recently “recorded his new album, Vladimir Central-2,” said the producer. “Suddenly information appeared that he sold this album. This is some kind of stupidity, Mikhail did not sell it.”

Except collaboration, “I knew Misha not only as a singer, but also from the other side,” added Tsyganov. “He was very active in helping temples and churches. He never advertised this, but he published cassettes with spiritual music, built churches, gave money for their restoration, and was a deeply religious person,” said Tsyganov. “This for me characterized him inner world. Songs are songs, but he was a very big man."

Krug died saving his mother-in-law

As Gennady Pereverzev, press secretary of the Tver Region Internal Affairs Directorate, told Izvestia, Mikhail Krug died trying to stop the robbers who broke into his house.

Police squad and " ambulance"arrived at the scene 10 minutes after the incident. The bleeding singer was urgently taken to the sixth hospital in Tver. According to Gennady Pereverzev, the doctors even managed to perform an operation on him. But immediately after that, Mikhail Vorobyov died without regaining consciousness.

“The door of the three-story house was open,” said Vadim Churkin, head of the criminal police of the Proletarsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Tver, “I don’t think the robbers planned the crime in advance. There were 5 people in the house, so the moment was the most inopportune.

When those in the house heard the noise, they ran into the hall. There were two attackers, they were wearing black masks. Apparently, they did not expect to meet so many people in the house. One of them took out a pistol and fired several shots. One of the bullets hit Vorobyov in the chest. Behind him was his mother-in-law. The criminal hit her on the head with the handle, and after that they ran away."
