For the last five years I didn’t drink or smoke at all—I cleaned up. It happened that I would quietly smoke a cigarette at night, until Natasha one day saw me and gave me a thrashing.

- It’s very difficult! You can't imagine my rhythm of life. From the age of 15 I had a solo career, I packed stadiums and often gave two or three concerts a day. And so on for months, without days off. As a result, there were serious problems with sleep, some kind of psychosis, and in the end - alcoholic breakdowns. How else can you relax? It doesn't take long to die from the intensity of emotions.

Do you know that artists are divided into energy “vampires” and “donors”? It happens that a concert seems good, but the audience leaves after it like a lemon. But if there is a “donor” on stage, the picture is different: the artist is exhausted, and the audience is happy and satisfied, full of energy. So I am a “donor”. After the performance there was no energy left at all, so in order to relieve the incredible fatigue, I drank. But when Artemy appeared, my lifestyle changed, it became much calmer than before. True, it’s still a long way from becoming a monk.

— Remember your first meeting with youngest son? What emotions did you experience at these moments?

— I barely remember, although I was present at the birth. I was so worried. He held his wife’s hand, entertained her with conversations and various jokes, and admired how beautiful she was. Natasha was glowing in those moments. Well, at the last moment he went into the next room and waited there. I saw my son a few minutes later, still with the uncut umbilical cord. - Natasha, what kind of father did Volodya make? Can you, for example, leave your baby with him and go somewhere else?

- Oh, No! The two of them had never been alone before. I feel calmer when there is a nanny next to my son; she is experienced and very kind. And let Vova be on hand. In principle, this is what usually happens. Either my husband or my mother remains to help the nanny. But I reluctantly and rarely leave my child, and when I leave home, I immediately begin to punish myself. Tema is almost a year old, and all this time I myself bathe him in the evening, put him to bed, sing lullabies to him... This is a whole ritual for the two of us.

Vladimir: Natasha is an amazing mother. I expected her to make a great mother, but not like this! Even by her son’s slight grunting, she unmistakably determines what he wants. Natalia: I suffered unbearably. What suddenly came over me, why I decided to leave - I can’t understand! Some kind of obsession, I didn’t even analyze why I needed a break from it so much. We returned home on the third day, the previous two I cried in my arms with a breast pump.

— Tell us about Artemy. Is he a calm boy or does he give his parents a hard time?

Vladimir: That’s the thing, he cries a little, pah-pah-pah. Mainly located in in a great mood, laughs, plays. He loves it when I toss him around. The heat sets when teeth are tormenting.

Natalia: Sometimes, when Tema wakes up at night and starts crying, I get up, take him in my arms and walk around the room, rocking him to sleep, and Volodya turns to the wall and whispers: “These are teeth, teeth...” Which makes me laugh very much.

Vladimir: We were confident that it would work. When people really want something and go the right way, God helps them. I admit, there was a moment when Tusya and I began to discuss adoption. And when they seriously thought about it, the wife became pregnant.

Vladimir: Both burst into tears.

— Did your pregnancy go easily or did you think: “Never again”?

Natalya: Everything somehow turned out easy, so I already want a second child - a girl. Volodya immediately dreamed of a daughter, but I didn’t care. But when he found out that there would be a son, he fell silent for a day. I was even offended...

She only calmed down when she saw Volodya, holding the little one, telling him: “Tema, how good it is that you were born!”

Vladimir: I was always touched by girls, and I wanted to have my own, so that I could climb into my arms with the words: “Daddy, daddy, my most beloved.” And now, looking at Temka - this fair-haired miracle - I can’t imagine that there would be someone else instead of him.

— Vladimir, you recently turned 48 years old. What did you understand about love at this age?

Vladimir: Good question! People have been trying to answer this question for centuries and just can’t. Love is the main thing in life.
