Where to enter to dig through the war. Cop in war - or a dangerous type of search. Selecting a device for this type of search

Bye different people it is measured who has better and longer, doing different tests, real diggers pick up finds. It was the same on one of our trips. Several friends called and wrote to me in advance, everyone has different experience as a detective, but they wanted to dig into the war in 1944. The guys wanted to go to the place of battles, where once upon a time it was not overcrowded from people and equipment, but now it is quiet and empty, places far from civilization and where ordinary people do not go, they are afraid, or there is simply nothing for them to do there, mushrooms can be picked in a more calm and safe environment.

After some thought, I began to look for a place. Where to take them? I didn’t want to go back to my old and familiar places, I needed something new in order to walk with interest myself, so I opened the map of 1948 to see places with a concentration of dugouts and dugouts indicated on it. I found one interesting high-rise, 32.7, where the positions of the German troops were, which means that there should have been a fight for this high-rise, even a small one, but a fight. Then ingenuity went into action - it is necessary to raise the combat log of the division that fought in that sector. The site "Memory of the people" will help us with this. We write a part in the search, select a time period and read, or better, look for magazines with maps and diagrams.

Yes, these are not the old fields on the Schubert map to look at, everything is more serious and interesting here! Who there said that the war is the easiest to dig? Unfortunately no. What do we see on the map? Height 32.7, and in front of it is the German defense line. It's clear that Soviet troops German positions were attacked, so we must look for a continuation!

And it was found:

It turns out that in three days the Soviet troops were able to advance on the right flank, even there an interesting “Assault Battalion Group” was noted. It’s already more interesting, our attack aircraft could well mix the Germans in those places, which means we need to go there and see live what is there. The place is localized, all anchor points to the map are set.

Wake up at 4:35 am. It's early, yes, but you need to collect two cars of diggers and drive almost 250 km one way. Along the way, you can also drink coffee at the gas station.

One of the guys suggested doing joint photo on arrival. Done. 🙂 Whoever recognizes all the metal detectors will get a pie from the shelf. NB! There are no Deus here, which is surprising, but the CTX3030 remained behind the scenes.

We go deeper into the forest. The area is swampy and you walk straight on the moss that moves. Moss has grown right through the swamp, and if you step a little away from the roots of a tree, you can fall knee-deep into water. Here and there there are funnels completely covered with water.

I am looking for some sign that there were battles on this or that patch, this sign is large pieces of iron, for example, helmets, fragments of helmets, various iron, parts, large fragments. And then the sign appears:

The usual fragment of the Soviet helmet on a tree. Most likely installed by our fellow digger. A simple sign - with such fragments I often mark for myself the places of positions and especially - accumulations of finds.

And so it happened. All kinds of riding iron climbed, mostly Soviet grenades. There were many.

Basically, grenades F1 ("Limonka") and RG-42. RG-42 without shirts, which is a pity, a shirt is a good souvenir, you can make a stand for pencils.

Naturally, shells, cartridges, fragments of bowlers, flasks and other items of soldier's belongings climbed. It could not do without large "cucumbers" - 105-mm, 122-mm and even 152-mm shells. If such a bang, it will be very bad.

For the first time I discovered an unexploded German rifle grenade, which was fired from a special nozzle mounted on a Mauser 98K carbine.

It is better not to take such things for yourself, but to call the appropriate authorities and undermine them. Or leave it in place, but in no case disassemble it and try to clear it yourself somehow. It is fraught.

Not without mortar mines of various calibers. Some were right on the road! Truly dangerous places! But since there is ammunition and equipment, then there must be weapons with fragments. And so it happened, a Mosin rifle crawled out of the moss, or rather, only what was left of it.

The condition is dead and deplorable, but you can clean it up a bit, buy the missing parts and make an MMG, let it hang for the sake of appearance. A real rifle, with history, completely killed, but nonetheless.

Basically, the entire trip was to collect riding iron. There is nothing to dig - swamps are everywhere, horse war is everywhere. Therefore, iron climbs from the top.

But a box magazine from PPSh and PPS was found, along with cartridges. Picked it up with my brand new Nokta Impact metal detector. The state of all iron is dead, you can only take it off and throw it away.

All that remains of a folding German shovel. Sad spectacle.

Metal, metal, metal everywhere. In such places you need to walk with a probe, any metal detector beeps every second. different metal, there is little sense from this.

Bipod from a German machine gun MG-42. Quite a state, it will be possible to clean it by electrolysis, there will be a good souvenir!

And this is all that remains of the tape of Soviet cartridges for the Maxim machine gun. The tape was rag, twisted and over the years the fabric rotted, and the cartridges oxidized and rusted to each other. The first photo shows the remaining pack of cartridges for Mosinka, the paper has long rotted, and the cartridges themselves, as they were in the pack, are still in the ground.

The detecting time at that time was already coming to an end, dinner and the road home were ahead. Quite an interesting way out, although no terrible and shocking finds were found, but the time was spent with benefit, they touched history, walked around the places where our soldiers liberated back in 1944 native land, fighting in terrible conditions, in solid swamps. Keep this in mind when you think about them once a year, on May 9th.

P.S. Not a single Soviet soldier was found, just as German citizens were not found.

And we collect the whole cop for the war, come in, there are a lot of interesting things about our unusual area of \u200b\u200binterest!

Hello Kamrad!
This article is about choosing good place for further good search with a lot of finds!
I wrote it based on personal experience.
So, let's begin!
If you think about it, there are a lot of places to search. Wherever you go, there are forests, fields, ponds, lakes all around, which are somehow connected with the places of hostilities - the war has left its traces almost everywhere.
How many years have already passed, how many diggers and search engines have passed through such places, how much swag has been dug up. But there is no need to be sad, if everything is collected on top, then at a depth of one and a half to three meters, the swag is waiting for its owners.
On the battlefields, we can see the wonders of field fortification in the form of trenches, cells, dugouts, pillboxes, dugouts, caponiers, etc. Each of these objects can give us wonderful finds.

But not all such places need to be carefully searched. The territory that is literally lined with craters from mines and shells requires complete processing. The more of them, the more likely it is that the cop will end up perfectly. After all, during artillery shelling, bombing, soldiers often lost personal belongings, uniforms in the confusion. In such a situation, the fighters either did not look for them or simply did not notice the loss.

Most often at the sites of the excavation, trenches and dugouts are found, usually by eye you can determine whose they are. german army used zigzag trenches, and Soviet army, dug more straight, without unnecessary twists. By depth, you can determine the period of hostilities. If this winter time years, then the depth of the trenches will be small, which gives a good advantage when pitting. All others are within 1.5 meters deep. In the trenches, one should ring the parapet, there are bullets, cartridges, shells, thorns, grenades, fragments. It is worth checking the walls, there will be mostly bullets, if you are lucky, you can find a niche with cartridges or grenades. Be sure to explore the back and front of the trenches, as the soldiers could advance and retreat, along the way losing things or throwing away all sorts of uniforms. The trench itself can be shoveled, but only in those places where there is a huge amount of shells or cartridges.

The dugouts look like a square or a rectangle, depending on their purpose. The square ones were used by officers and soldiers, the rectangular ones went under artillery or equipment, only this is no longer going like a dugout, but like Caponiers. But even rectangular ones could be residential, so be careful! The depth can be different, but at least two or three meters. First of all, it is better to dig at the entrance and where the bunks were located. You need to dig to the floor. The floor of the dugout is lined with boards or simply heavily trampled down, it is difficult to miss it. In the case when the floor is earthen, small objects can be trampled into it, if the floor is covered with boards, then it is worth looking for small things under them. Usually, there is a dump near each German dugout, nowadays it looks like a small hole or depression not far from the dugout. These are garbage cans favorite place digger) There you can find a lot of interesting things.

When digging trenches, the earth was poured in a shaft from the side facing the enemy, this embankment is called the parapet of the trench.

Also, do not forget about the funnels, which must be punched with a probe. Sometimes, there are the bones of soldiers.
Thank you all for your attention, good swag and good places.

War Cop is a very exciting type of search. I like it much more than excavations on coins or antiques. Before, I was somehow afraid and wary of him, but now, on the contrary, I completely switched to him. Because in this type of search for finds, there are many more and they are very interesting.

In short, I really like a war cop, I like to find some kind of detail, then search the Internet for what it was from and what it was attached to. Collect shell casings by hallmarks, years, etc. Cleaning military finds is also interesting.

But this view is not only fascinating but also very dangerous, especially for young and inexperienced diggers. Therefore, for those who have never been fond of them before, ask more experienced diggers to dig a few exits.

And so in this article, I will talk about all the intricacies of this type of search, so get ready to read, and read into my every word.

I want to show one photo that shows a cool collection. Of course, it is not mine, but in the future I want to collect the same and most likely I will collect it.

We also quite often raised helmets, grenades, shells. Sometimes even fighters. Since I am not a member of the search squad, I do not have access to the archives and lists of missing soldiers. But I am cooperating with the search teams, to which I throw off the coordinates of the found fighter, leaving some kind of mark. And our search teams are recharging them.

In this way, we have already transferred four Romanian fighters and two fighters of the Red Army. Total 6 soldiers. In fact, this is very little during this time of searches.

Anyone who wants to start digging, especially in the war. Sets a specific goal. Some people really want a German helmet, others a bayonet knife, others a Walter pistol or something like that. In general, this is the right attitude to search. Finding these things is quite real, I know many guys who found it all. So it all depends on your luck.

War Cop Dangers

There are a lot of shells, cartridges, and all sorts of explosives on the battlefields. Therefore, the found dangerous finds do not twist, beat, disassemble, throw into the fire. If possible, drown them in some lake or river. As a rule, no one really bathes in them, so your projectile or something else will not pose any particular danger in the pond. As a rule, you can tell the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but when they find out where you found this find, they will not even come. Since they know that in such remote places, it does not pose a danger to society.

Many do not recommend transporting shells. In fact, this is nonsense. Any projectile in the ground soured so much that the probability of its operation during transportation is zero. Of course, it can work, but only if you hit it hard on a stone or start disassembling it.

Selecting a device for this type of search

If you are puzzling over which device to choose for a war cop. But I won't upset you much,

or vice versa, please. The device is suitable for absolutely anyone, for this type of search. coil so

same. If of course you grow up to a more professional level, you can purchase depth frames to search at the bottom of the trenches.

It's no secret that many free cop fans are not averse to looking for various military artifacts that abound in defense lines left over from the times of the Great Patriotic War. But before you take a metal detector, a shovel and another essential tool, you need to familiarize yourself with some points related to the current restrictions on this kind of hobby. Even if the decision to engage in a war cop is final, and the law is unable to stop this impulse, it will still be logical to find out for violation of what legal requirements law enforcement representatives can ruin your nerves.

To save you the time needed to read this article, we have reduced unnecessary information as much as possible, leaving only the main theses and titles of legal acts regulating such activities...
