Vnukovo International Arrivals Terminal. New traffic pattern at the station square at Vnukovo airport. How to get to Aeroexpress train from Kyiv-radialnaya station

Despite the fact that Vnukovo is the oldest airport in Moscow, its infrastructure is quite conveniently designed and allows you to quickly navigate. The layout of Vnukovo Airport is quite simple - the complex consists of 3 terminals - A, B and D. In addition, there is a closed VIP terminal serving the government and charter flights.

  • Vnukovo-1 - designed for passenger flights.
  • Vnukovo-2 is a government terminal. Despite the fact that Vnukovo is the smallest airport in Moscow, its importance cannot be underestimated, since among the people it serves are the president of the country and members of governments foreign countries. The terminal is located one and a half kilometers from the passenger complex.
  • Vnukovo-3 is a business aviation service center located on the airfield to the west. The complex has direct access to Borovskoye highway.

Passenger complex Vnukovo-1

The Vnukovo-1 air terminal is the most demanded complex, consisting of three terminals adjacent to each other. Vnukovo A- this terminal serves the majority of domestic and international flights operating regularly. Vnukovo B accepts charters. Vnukovo D only accepts flights from the North Caucasus. It has been partially decommissioned.

Terminal A

The main building that deserves special attention is terminal A. It consists of several levels, including an underground one. This is the most spacious terminal, equipped in accordance with modern requirements.

The underground level is combined with railway station, where the Aeroexpress train arrives, it is in many ways similar to the metropolitan metro. An elevator connects the lower level with the upper halls of the terminal.

The first level of the terminal is designed to serve arriving flights and is equipped with a waiting room for meeting passengers. Here arriving passengers pass customs control and get luggage.

The second level is designed to serve departing passengers. Check-in counters are located here, where customs and passport control is carried out, as well as the boarding gate. In the sterile zone, there is all the infrastructure that passengers may need. Shops, children's rooms, ATMs, cafes and cinemas. Boarding gates are also located here: on the right side of the terminal - for international flights, and on the left - for domestic ones.

The third level houses airline offices and business lounges. It impresses with its huge space and high undulating ceiling, decorated with glass inserts.

Transition between terminals

Looking at the diagram, you can see that the entrance to Terminal A is located on the underground level, so you can get to the terminal from the Aeroexpress without going outside, which significantly reduces travel time if the departure is from Terminal A. You can also get to the terminal from the location area multi-storey car parks. The diagram shows that they are located near the exit from the flyover.

On the opposite side, opposite the parking lots, there is a bus stop from which buses depart to the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station. Thus, the entrance to terminal A from the stops public transport is also there.

This terminal can also be accessed from the side of the overpass (check-in is free) through the departures area located on the second floor.

It is possible to make the transition from Terminal A to Terminal B or D only along the street. This should be taken into account when planning time so as not to be late for your flight.

It is impossible to get from the overpass to terminals B, D. The entrance to the terminals is located at ground level.

Terminal D can be reached by using the entrance to terminal B. Both terminals are connected by a walkway. There is no separate exit from terminal D. As the diagram shows, it is located between terminal A and B and is a checkpoint.

Important! Since August 2015, the exit scheme from Terminal A has been changed. The ability to use the exit from the departure area, located on the second level of Terminal A, to the flyover, is limited. This was done in order to improve the safety of passengers and eliminate congestion that began to form on the flyover as a result of the drivers' abuse of parking rules on the flyover.

It is necessary to specify the terminal of your departure in advance, as well as to look at the route between the terminals according to the airport scheme in order to prevent late flights.

It is one of the largest air terminal complexes in the country, consisting of three terminals: A, D, a zone for VIP passengers, as well as an access area. At the same time, navigation at the airport is quite simple, it is unlikely to get lost, but still, sometimes you can look for the right place for a long time. That is why in this article we will consider in detail the main points of navigation at Vnukovo Airport, having studied which, you can always quickly get to the right place.

Airport entrance and parking

The main parking zones, used by the majority of arriving and departing passengers, are located in close proximity to the airport terminals. They are two covered multi-level parking areas and one open area, also located near the terminals. Here you can meet passengers from the arrivals area.

Important! On the territory of Vnukovo airport, the traffic police are constantly on duty, and there are also numerous cameras that record violations. In case of violation of the parking rules by car, your car will be towed in accordance with the rules of the road. Be careful and follow all traffic rules and parking rules.

Terminal parking fees

  • There is no parking fee for the first 15 minutes at the airport (with proper timing, this best option in order to meet the arrivals);

Terminal A scheme

Terminal A is the main terminal of Vnukovo Airport, serving all flights passing through this air harbor, both domestic and international. However, some flights may have post-flight security screening at Terminal D. This is also the only place where you can use Aeroexpress for fast and convenient travel.

The entrance to this terminal is located in several places:

  • Through the underground passage, from which you can also get to the Aeroexpress station (when exiting the Aeroexpress, after passing through the glass doors, turn right);
  • Through the departure area on the second floor of the terminal (accessible from the car overpass);
  • Through the entrance from the forecourt on the first floor.

Note! If you are coming from the Aeroexpress station, then you may encounter long queues. To avoid these problems, turn left behind the glass doors, go outside and enter Vnukovo Terminal A through the square.

On this moment the passage from the departure area from the second floor to the overpass is closed due to the illegal parking there. Therefore, if you arrived by car and left the car on the overpass, then you will not be able to return to it from the airport terminal. Use official parking lots.

Check-in for the flight takes place on the second floor of the terminal.

Important! Please note that you can check in for the desired flight no later than 40 minutes before departure. If you miss this deadline, then most likely you will not be able to get on the flight.

To speed up the process of registration and movement, self-service kiosks are installed in the terminal, where you can go through the entire process yourself, avoiding long queues.

On the first and second floors there is a point of medical care.

On the third floor of this terminal, you can find waiting areas, numerous cafes and restaurants, shops, waiting rooms and all other airport infrastructure that helps to brighten up the waiting for a flight.

The lounges are located after the passport control area.

Keep in mind! Terminal A is a large building, so if possible, try to use a map before you travel to familiarize yourself with the main hubs. Thus, you can avoid delays and reduce the risk of being late for your flight (the diagram of Vnukovo Airport is attached to this article for convenience). And to avoid traffic, if you use public transport, it is best to use the Aeroexpress.

Terminal D diagram

Some domestic flights are served at this terminal of Vnukovo Airport, and post-flight inspection is carried out in the passenger arrivals area. All other procedures at Vnukovo Airport take place in Terminal A.

Flights for which post-flight inspection at this terminal is required can be viewed by clicking on the link http://www.vnukovo.ru/flights/online-timetable/#tab-arrivals on the airport's online scoreboard.
