Carl Johnson (CJ)
Carl "CJ" Johnson is the main protagonist of the video game. One of the favorites of the African-American street gang "Grove Street Families" in the town of Los Santos. Following the death of his own younger brother Brian in 1987, Carl leaves Los Santos and moves to Liberty City. There he works for Joey Leone, the son of Salvatore, the leader of the Leone mafia family. In 1992, Carl returns to his own hometown in Los Santos following the death of his mother, Beverly. Cj found out about the murder of his mother from his own older brother Environment. In Los Santos, Carl is met by Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski, two corrupt operatives. The officers drive Carl through the Ballasami area and throw CJ out of the moving police car and reassure him that they will keep an eye on him.
Soon after the funeral of his own mothers, Carl discovers that another part of his family (and former gang, Grove Street families) are having difficulty with some competitors. Carl finds himself drawn back into the street of gangster life, apparently he at one point tried to throw it all in the past. Realizing that everything will not be as fast as he expected, Carl travels throughout the state of San Andreas to take control of the streets and save his family.
Carl Johnson is voiced by Chris "young Maylay" Bellard, a young rapper looking to cash in on the GTA San Andreas triumph.

Lance "Ryder" Wilson
Ryder, the "free gun", is quite passionate about the Grove Street families and one of CJ's oldest comrades. Small, skinny, but fierce. In the "Ryder" quest mission, Ryder is displeased to find that the owner of a "perfectly stacked pizza" has a respected Grove Street after clearing the graffiti gang's tag from its walls. Ryder chooses to drive CJ, does not forgive him during the 5 years he spent in Liberty City. Ryder tries to set up his own business with T-Bone Mendez, Mike Toreno and Jizzy B (all members of the Loco Syndicate). Disloyal and mean.

Ryder is voiced by MC Eiht, the lead rapper of Compton's Most Wanted. He starred in the movie Danger Society II in 1993.

Officer Frank Tenpenny
Corrupt cop. Is an honorary officer when he is infected by a manic bully who has been bugging CJ since he left for Liberty City. Tenpenny leads the LSPD's anti-gang unit, popularly known as C.R.A.S.H. Despite his distaste for CJ, he will constantly find excuses to keep him alive. Often accompanied by Officer Pulaski. Officer Eddie Pulaski
The right hand of the tenpenny. Pulaski (similarly a member of the corrupt C.R.A.S.H) has wanted to destroy CJ for almost all of the years, but Tenpenny constantly finds an excuse to keep him alive. Most powerful and ferocious when accompanied by a superior, but we soon discover that he was attacked by a coward. Tenpeni and Pulaski have built their own criminal empire, taking out anyone who gets in their way. The two silenced Officer Ralph Pendelbury afterwards, as he threatened to turn over the state's evidence. The death is said to have occurred in a "non-gang incident". Is involved in racketeering, corruption, drugs and sexual violence.

Officer Pulaski was voiced by Chris Penn, who started acting at age 12 at the company's Loft in Los Angeles. Born in 1962, Penn holds a dark belt in karate and has appeared in over 50 different films.

Officer Jimmy Hernandez
3rd and newest member of the corrupt Lspd branch. However, Hernandez is not as malicious as Tenpenny and Pulaski, he is ready to be guided by them for the cut. He calls himself a "good cop". Hernandez disagrees with Tenpenny and Pulaski's ways, and later tries to expose them. Tenpenny soon finds out, and Hernandez pays the cost.

Officer Hernandez, voiced by Armando Riesco, who acted similarly in GTA Vice City and Midnight Club II. Riesco similarly did some pedestrian voices in GTA San Andreas.

Woozie
Cool, relaxed and collected. Suggested simply as "Woozie" by his fellows, this Oriental gentlement heads up The Mountain Cloud Boys-A Triad gang. Woozie is blind, but he has trained his senses to such an extent that you would not see his handicap. He prides himself on his abilities as a seasoned race car driver and golf pro. Woozie has to shield his own boss, ran Fa Li, and eliminate his viatnamese competitors (Da Nang Boys) to secure his place in the Reddish Gecko Tong. Woozie now runs the Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas, but the Sindacco family wants to sabotage its opening. Blessed with "indescribable fortune".

Woozy is voiced by James Yaegashi, who embarked on his acting career in 1999 in mainstream prominence as "Cole" in the motion picture "The Bottle".

Ran Fa Li
Similarly recognizable as Mr. Farley. Ren Fa Li leads the Reddish Tong Gecko, one of the most excellent gangs in the Triad. The Viennese gang (Da Nang Boys) are making full headway to the United States and have launched a number of attacks on Farley's people. The blood feather triad has been 100% destroyed, and now they're intent on hitting Farley. Wu Zi Mu is obliged to carry out a memory on Mr. Farley in order to guarantee his place in the Reddish Gekko Tong.

However, he does not tell much (in fact, he does not tell anything at all - just a case of grunting) Ran Fa Lee is voiced by Hunter Platin. Platin similarly voiced in Manhunt, Midnight Club II, GTA vice city and Grand Theft Auto 3.

su si mu
Often referred to simply as Susie. Su Xi Mu can help Woozie and Ran Fa Li, and suggests Triads basically. His main place of work is located in a bookmaker's market in Chinatown, San Fierro. Is that there is a connection with the RC freak Zero. The Triads are currently having difficulty with a viatnamese gang called "The Da Nang Boys" who are preparing a full move to the United States.

Su Xi Mu is voiced by Richard Chang, who played the prosecuter in the movie Return to Paradise (1998) and Gafar in the 2004 movie Kejar America.

Barry "Huge Bear" Thorn
Often referred to as "the big bear", Barry is considered one of the oldest members of the Grove Street family. Huge Bear is quite devoted to the hood. Often seen up close with OG B-Dup, who was able to pump it up. For this, B Dup controls the life of the bear and forces him to do his own direct duties. At the current time, the bear is in a terrible state for the sake of his own drug addiction.

Huge Bear is voiced by a huge brat who hosts a radio show on Los Angeles power station 105.9 FM. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 2.

Kendl Johnson
Carl's sister, Kendl, pretty much argues with her own sweet brother. Kendl is unhappy as Carla was not around to help the family. Cesar is obsessed with stolen cars and leads the Varios Los Aztecas, a gang that is currently miniaturizing. A man of honor and integrity, who in the end leads Cesar and Carl to become close comrades. He constantly looks at CJ, and vice versa. Caesar is Catalina's cousin.

Cesar is voiced by Clifton Collins. Collins began his acting career in 1991 and starred in the movie Danger Society II in 1993.

Catalina
Fiery. Cousin Cesar Vialpando is the most intimidating female protagonist in the GTA3 series. Catalina lives in an isolated cabin in Fern Ridge, Red County - complete with freshly dug graves in the backyard. Obsessed with robbery. Catalina is in love with Carl, despite her bad disposition towards him. She proceeds to date Claude Speed, the "tongueless snake" (commonly known as the GTA3 Guy). The two prepare to move to Liberty City. Powerful, unhealthy, constantly looking for interest.

Catalina is voiced by Cynthia Farrell, who similarly played Catalina in GTA 3 (2001).

Agility Claude
"A snake without a tongue." We can, after all, put a name on the main protagonist of GTA3. Claude is currently dating Catalina, a crazy bitch (as Carl adores her) who lives in Fern Ridge, Red County. Claude is a talented street racer. Carl beats him in a suburban race and is rewarded with chores at a garage in San Fierro, which, to his amazement, is running downhill and no one wants it. Claude prepares to move to Liberty City with Catalina.

Like in Tera (2001), Claude didn't say a single word and therefore has the voice of an actor.

Mark "B-Dup" Wayne
OG B-Dup has recently (and suspiciously) moved out of his own Gunton home and into the Glen Park area - balla. Gossip implied that he drifted apart from the banging gang and into "the rest of the activies." Allegations of false confinement and kidnapping of comrades persist. Often I saw close to Barry the "huge bear" Thorn, whom he pumped up.

B-Doop is voiced by Taylor's Jayceon, who is referred to as the "video game". The video game was born into the life of a gang of banging and hustling—his dad being Crazy Block Crip and his mother Hoover Crippelette. He recalls how he saw how his ancestors were preparing for the journey.

Geoffrey "OG Loc" Martin
Gangsta wannabe rapper Jeffrey Martin. No criminal record, aside from a couple of unpaid parking tickets, but naturally no danger to society. Stay away from his music. Talking about his own music, he came out with only one album, "Straight from Tha Streetz", which he recorded shortly after his release from prison. While some say that he was the worst rapper in novels, others say that this is the newest image of hip-hop. The exceptional person who prevents him from being a star is Maddog (or so he thinks).

OG Lock, voiced by Jonathan Anderson, who starred in the movie The Source in 2002.

Maxer
Actor from Manchester, UK. A former member of drunken Manchester dance group The Gurning Chimps, Maccer was once a millionaire poster boy for hedonism. At the current time, a "return tour" is planned. Born in Salford in 1965, Maxer has made partying a lifestyle, and hard partying a religion. Check Maccer's official web portal, here.

It is that there are connections with Ken Rosenberg and the crowd at the Caligula's Palace casino. Maxer often calls him "Paulo" and "P".

Kent Paul is voiced by Danny Dyer, who similarly played Kent Paul in GTA Vice City (2002). Dyer began his acting career in 1993.

Ken Rosenberg
Simply referred to as "Rosie" by his comrades. Ken, just like he was in Vice City, has no confidence and suffers from severe psychological depression for the sake of a troublesome mafia gang. Leon and Sindacco do not have every chance to decide who is responsible for running Caligula's casino, and for this reason, Rosie is put forward as a neutral party. If one family hits another, the opposition will kill Ken. For the sake of the drug problem, Ken can no longer work with the law. Is that there are connections with Maxer, Kent Paul and Madd Dogg.

Ken Rosenberg was voiced by Bill Fichtner, who began his acting career in 1987, also playing Ken Rosenberg in GTA Vice City (2002).

Salvatore Leone
Don Salvatore Leone makes his 2nd appearance in the Grand Theft Auto series. Leone returns to the series with his own girlfriend Maria and his gang, the Leone family. Salvatore agreed to partner with the Sindacco family to run a casino in Venturas. This is coupled with the fact that Salvatore promised $5,000,000 to Cindaco, which is why he can't afford to let Cindaco cheat on him. The Forelli will similarly get involved and use every good chance they see to eliminate their own opponents.

Salvatore is voiced by Frank Vincent, who similarly played Salvatore in Grand Theft Auto III (2001) and starred in the 1990 motion picture Goodfellas.

Jethro & Dwaine
Jethro works at the Xoomer gas station in Easter Basin, San Fierro. He appears to have a severe drug problem. Dwine runs a hot dog close to the tram terminal in Kings. Business is slow, and soon he finds himself working with hid old pal Jethro for CJ's garage in Doherty. Both characters were featured in GTA Vice City, in which Vercetti bought out his own shipping business.

Jethro is voiced by John Zurhellen and Dwaine is voiced by Navid Khonsari. Both were featured in GTA Vice City, Manhunt and Max Payne.

Sperm Giant is voiced by Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy's brother. Murphy embarked on his acting career in 1989 when he played Jimmy in "Harlem Nights."

Maddog
Recording artist Maddog is a local legend. He experienced a huge personal tragedy when his supervisor was killed and reincarnated into alcohol and drugs (cocaine). He owns a house in Mulholland, Los Santos. Maddog is by no means seen on the streets has nothing to do with gangs. Albums include "Huslin" Like Gangstaz", "Still Madd" and "Forty Dogg". In OG Loc's agreement, Maddog is the only person keeping him from being a big star.

Maddog voices Ice T, the hip-hop artist is best known as the daddy of gangsta music that spawned the careers of painters like N.W.A., Snoop Dogg and the Geto Boys.

Zero
Zero is a 28 year old electronics geek who runs an RC shop in Garcia, San Fierro. He delivers statements of reality on a scale of 1/10. Zero insists that this is not a toy store. A measured, measured and measured man is a hippie! Of course, he drives a rather peculiar looking hippie van, which he refers to as the "Mothership". Among the comrades are Jethro and Dwayne, who are likewise considered hippies. They met in fierro Lovin "89, probably. Is that he is connected with Officer Tenpenny.

Voiced by Peter Fonda, of course, who launched his acting career in 1961 when he played the role of physician Mark Cheswick in the movie Tammy Tell Me the Truth. In 1969, Fonda produced and costarred in the ultimate anti-setting statement of the 1960s, Light Rider, for which he shared an Academy Merit nomination for Best First Screenplay.

Old Rice
Reece is a hairdresser CJ-first seen in "Ryder's" flight at Old Reece's hair facial company in Idlewood. Rhys has been Idlewood's main news source for almost all of the years, so if you need information, check him out.

Reece gives different hairstyles, some of which include dripping Jheri curls, a classy Afro and a tall flathead. Rhys knew Beverly, Carl's late mother.

Brian and Beverly Johnson
Brian was Carl's younger brother who died in a tragedy 5 years ago. Carl allowed Brian to die, and Sweet condemned Carl for his death. Beverly is CJ's deceased mother. These 2 characters are not in the video game, although they were mentioned in a couple of ways.

Characters of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in real life.

Main characters

Carl Johnson (CJ)

After learning about the murder of his mother, Carl returns home from Liberty City to Los Santos. There he learns other news - the Grove Street Families, the Johnson family gang, which was one of the strongest groups in the city a few years ago, has almost completely lost control of the streets. In addition, the police department wants to "hang up" on Karl the murder of a policeman, which he did not commit. The main character will have to go through many trials and adventures in the vast state of San Andreas. Despite the persecution of corrupt cops, the betrayal of friends, the death of loved ones and the insidious intentions of mafia bosses, Carl defends the honor of his family with dignity.

Sean "Sweet" Johnson

The older brother of the main character of the game - Carl Johnson. Sean blames Carl for the death of his younger brother, Brian. Sweet is the head of the Grove Street Families gang and is respected by the Roschins. At the same time, he has many enemies in other factions. It is to him that CJ must prove his worth and the right to fight for the honor of the family.

Sister Carla. Kendl constantly quarrels with her older brother Sean and is clearly not happy that Carl left for Liberty City, leaving his family at a difficult time. She is head over heels in love with Caesar Vialpando from the influential Latin group of Los Santos. After the death of her mother, the care of the house and brothers fell on Kendl's shoulders.

Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris

An old friend of the Johnson family, one of the most powerful people in the Orange Grove Families. Despite excess weight, Smoke often performs dirty operations that require physical strength and dexterity. Melvin is an independent figure in the gang, so he runs his own business in San Fierro without Sean Johnson's consent.

Lance "Ryder" Wilson

Ryder is an old friend of Carl's and Sean Johnson's right-hand man. He performs all the bloody and important assignments in the gang and has a very high authority among the "Roshchinsky". Together with Ryder, CJ will get into more than one scrape.

Almost the entire body of Caesar is decorated with tattoos. Perhaps this is what helped him win the heart of Kendl, Carl Johnson's sister. Caesar is obsessed with cars, he is especially interested in stealing expensive sports cars and extravagant lowriders. Vialpando is one of the authorities in the Los Santos group Varios Los Aztecas. After overcoming the initial hostility, Caesar and CJ will become friends and turn together a lot of dirty deeds.

Like most Asians, Wu is calm and focused. His friends call him simply "Woozi", but under the frivolous nickname hides the ruthless leader of the Mountain Cloud Boys, who run the business in San Fierro.

Even total blindness doesn't stop him. Over the years, he managed to adapt to the eternal darkness and seriously develop the rest of the senses. Today, Wu Zi Mu is known as one of the best racing drivers and a successful golfer. His goals are to develop the empire of his boss Ran Fa Ly, destroy his opponents from the Vietnamese gang The Da Nang Boys and lead the Red Gecko Tong triad.

Officer Frank Tenpenny

Frank Tenpenny is one of two corrupt Los Santos cops who are trying in every possible way to ruin Carl's life. He is distinguished by special cruelty, a disregard for everything except the criminal empire he created. Officially, Tenpenny leads the C.R.A.S.H. - Department for Combating Organized Crime. Unofficially, he is engaged in underground business: racketeering, drug trafficking, bribing officials, violence. Helping him in this is another cop - officer Eddie Pulaski.

Officer Eddie Pulaski

Officer Pulaski is the second man in C.R.A.S.H., it is he who helps Frank Tenpenny run a shady business. Fiercely hates Carl, which, however, does not prevent him from cooperating with the "boss". Their latest operation is the assassination of Detective Pendelbury, who was trying to lead a criminal couple to clean water. It was this corpse that the corrupt cops “hung” on Carl Johnson.

Minor characters

Officer Jimmy Hernandez

Jimmy is a new member of C.R.A.S.H. He aspired to be an honest cop, but Pulaski and Tenpenny involved him in their dirty business. Hernandez disagrees with his superiors' methods, but keeps his mouth shut. At the end of the game, it will still be credited to him.

He is also "Farley", head of the Red Gecko Tong, one of San Fierro's largest triads. The main enemies of Ra Fan Lee are the Vietnamese bandits from The Da Nang Boys, who have already managed to destroy one of the triads and are now aiming at the Red Gecko Tong. However, Farley has ill-wishers in the ranks of the allies ...

Also known by the nickname "Susie". Another person from the triads, the right hand of Wu Zi Mu. Su Zi Mu runs a bookmaker in San Fierro's Chinatown. Su's main opponents are the Vietnamese from The Da Nang Boys. Zero, the owner of an electronic toy store, was seen among the contacts.

Owner of an electronic toy store in the Garcia neighborhood of San Fierro. However, Zero believes that he sells not just toys, but reduced copies of real vehicles controlled by a remote control.

The name of this man speaks for itself: a peaceful hippie, quietly floating on the river of life. The Truth drives a goofy van called The Mothership and befriends Jethro and Dwayne, both hippies like himself. Unfortunately, Pravda is doing business with Officer Tenpenny, and this, of course, will negatively affect his future fate.

Caesar's cousin. Yes, yes, it was against her that we fought in Liberty City! As it turns out as the game progresses, betrayal, deceit, secrecy and a thirst for money distinguished Catalina already in her youth. Aspiring bitch settled in a squalid shack in Red County, away from prying eyes. Her yard is a small cemetery. As we already know, Catalina's favorite pastime is organizing robberies.

In the course of the story, she will involve the protagonist in her dirty deeds. Despite the boorish attitude that Catalina shows towards Carl, she really loves him. Alas, a break is inevitable. Her next victory on the love front is... remember the main character GTA3? So, now we finally know his name - Claude. It is with him that Catalina intends to move to Liberty City.

Talented race car driver, also known as the "tongueless snake" and main character GTA3. This nickname constantly reminds of his muteness. Together with Catalina, Claude intends to move to Liberty, and we already know how their story will end. There is absolutely no need for voice acting, for obvious reasons.

Mark "B-Dup" Wayne

B-Dup has recently moved to the Glen Park area - the territory of The Ballas gang. According to rumors, Mark moved away from criminal cases, but in fact he continues to engage in drug trafficking. Often hanging out with Barry "Big Bear" Thorne.

Jeffery "OG Loc" Martin

A young rapper and member of the OGF gang. Jeffrey's criminal career can hardly be called solid, but he has already managed to visit prison. Once on the loose, OG Loc recorded a rap album called "Straight from Tha Streetz", and now all Jeffrey's thoughts are on music. Some argue that Martin is the worst rapper in history, others consider him a real discovery in the genre. Alas, competition from Madd Dogg prevents him from becoming a full-fledged "star".

Madd Dogg is a state legend and one of the best rappers and producers on the West Coast. After tragic death his manager, he became depressed and quickly became addicted to alcohol and drugs. His luxurious villa in the hills of Vinewood is worth a fortune. Madd Dogg has been linked to the Vagos gang, and was even forced to give up his mansion for drug debts. His most famous albums are "Huslin" Like Gangstaz", "Still Madd" and "Forty Dogg" OJ Locke's main competitor and nemesis.

A former member of the Gurning Chimps, Macker is now a recording artist. He was born in Salford (UK), later moved to Manchester, where he became interested in show business. Macker invented his own style - "extremely baggy", managing to break every conceivable musical rule.

Known for his addiction to drugs and sadomasochism, as well as his personal Internet site, located at http://www.maccer.net. His circle of acquaintances includes Kent Paul and Ken Rosenberg.

We first met Kent in GTA: Vice City. After leaving the City of Vice, Paul moved to San Andreas, became addicted to drugs and now he often takes doses in the company of his friend Macker. Kent maintains a friendship with his old acquaintance - former lawyer Ken Rosenberg, whom he met back in Vice City.

CJ decides to stay on the West Coast and the game's plot centers on his attempts to rebuild the life he left behind five years ago. Carl helps his old gang, the Grove Street Families, return to their former glory. He also works for several independent business ventures and finds new friends and partners. As the main character, Carl is forced to deal with big dramatic events, including the arrest and incarceration of Sweet's sibling, the betrayal of childhood friends Big Smoke and Ryder.

CJ voiced Young Maylay.

Sean "Sweet" Johnson

First appears in: "Sweet and Candle".

Sean "Sweet" Johnson is the older brother of Carl, Brian and Kendl Johnson. He is one of the leaders and founding fathers of the African-American street gang Grove Street. Lives in a one-story house, very close to the Johnsons' house in Ganton. Sweet also has an unnamed girlfriend who only appears in one mission, Sweet's Girl. Sweet believed that the murder of their younger brother Brian was Carl's fault, which caused CJ to leave Los Santos. Compared to Carl, Big Smoke, and Ryder, Sweet's approach to gangsterism is more philosophical and socially conscious.

Throughout the story, Sweet remains devoted to his family, gang, and neighborhood. He refuses to allow the distribution of hard drugs in the area, much to the disapproval of his right-hand man, Big Smoke. Several times, and in "The Introduction" as well, Sweet says that he is a gangster for the block, which is contrary to the beliefs of Big Smoke, who later in the story leaves for money and drugs, and Ryder, who wants personal fame. Although Sweet never says exactly what it means to be for the neighborhood, his actions suggest that he sees the gang as a way for the people in his area to make up for the lack of his legitimate opportunities that they would otherwise not have. He also uses the gang to improve the quality of life in Ganton, especially as he drives out crack addicts and drug dealers; a little later in the game, he refuses to leave Grove Street, even when Carl has become rich and has acquired much better places for himself.

After his first return to Los Santos (at the start of the game), Carl assists Sweet in restoring the former glory of the Grove Street Family Gang. Sweet begins to forget old grudges and decides that Carl has earned his chance to redeem himself. However, despite the fact that Carl almost single-handedly brought the Grove family gang back on the map, Big Smoke and Ryder had already betrayed the gang. During a meeting between various gangs of families from that gang, the police suddenly raid the inn where the meeting is taking place. Carl saves his brother and they get away from the cops, but Sweet is later ambushed by the Ballas under a huge bridge in Mulholland. His injuries leave him unable to defend himself when Carl arrives and fights off the attackers, but the police surround and arrest them both while the Ballas gangs and the Grove Street families escape. The retinue is imprisoned indefinitely, and Carl is released to carry out assignments for Officer Tenpenny.

Later, Carl runs into Mike Toreno, a government agent who uses threats against Sweet to force Carl to work for him. As long as Carl cooperates with him, Sweet will be protected and, as Toreno promises, eventually released. If Carl makes a mistake, or refuses to work for Toreno, then Sweet will be forced to face one-on-one with the enemies of the cellmates.

Sweet's words finally reach Carl, and slowly but surely, the two restore Grove's predominance in the area once again. At first it seems useless; drug dealers are legion, and all of Sweet's people are addicted to drugs. Sweet almost gives up and picks up a pipette of crack, but Carl stops him at the very last moment. With Carl's help, Grove force the Ballas to back off and reveal Big Smoke's secret location.

After Big Smoke's death and a devastating fire at his drug palace, Officer Tenpenny flees in a firetruck. Sweet refuses to let Tenpenny escape retribution again for having once again plunged the city into crime and drug abuse; he jumps onto the ladder of the truck, and is carried away by the speeding car. Carl follows him in a convertible under the stairs to stop Sweet from falling to his death; after a perilous ride through the hills and valleys of Los Santos, the swinging ladder finally hangs over the car and Sweet falls safely onto the hood of the convertible, then into the passenger seat. After a long chase, Tenpenny loses control, has an accident and dies. After a major riot in Los Santos and the deaths of Big Smoke and Tenpenny, Sweet's goal of restoring the gang's former power and achieving a better life for the inhabitants of his neighborhood is complete.

Sweet, 27, has a light blue Greenwood sedan with a Grove 4 life license plate that you can always use. In one of the missions, Greenwood explodes after flying through a billboard onto a fuel tanker. After being released from prison, Sweet buys an identical car to replace him and says: if it's not broken, don't fix it. In the beta version of GTA San Andreas, Sweet was wearing a black T-shirt and black hat; his appearance was changed in the final alpha version (however, the Sweet in his old form can be seen in the photos in the Johnson house).

The suite was voiced by actor Faizon Love ( Faizon Love).

Kendl Johnson

First appears in: "Sweet and Candle"

Kendle Johnson is the sister of Carl, Brian and Sean Johnson. Kendl is the lover of Caesar Vialpando, the leader of the Varrios Los Aztecas gang. Because of this, he often quarrels with Sweet. She wears green clothing, indicating her affiliation with the families of the Grove Street gang. After the news of Big Smoke and Ryder's betrayal, Carl asks Caesar to take Kendle out of Los Santos to safety. Later in the story, Caesar proposes to Kendle. It is assumed that they really got engaged.

Kendl is depicted as intellectual and pragmatic, suggesting that while her brothers see crime as their last chance to support themselves, Kendl could be successful within the law. She has entrepreneurial talents, willpower, creativity and a sense of leadership. Was announced Yoyo.

Frank Tenpenny

First appears in: "Introduction"(arrest scene).

Dies in mission: "Ending station".

Officer Frank Tenpenny is the main antagonist of the game, an officer in the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD), head of the C.R.A.S.H. (Organized Crime Department)

Tenpenny claims that his approach to work is "PONT", and that his philosophy is to turn a blind eye to some crimes in order to stop larger ones.
Officer Frank Tenpenny: "Because it's a game of percentages. We're just trying to take down as many bad guys as we can."
Officer Jimmy Hernandez: "Yeah, I know."
Officer Frank Tenpenny: "That means letting some bad guys get away with it."

Scene in "The Introduction": He seems to believe what he says, but in reality, Tenpenny and his gang are corrupt and terrorize gang leaders just as much as the gangs themselves. Officer Frank Tenpenny to Officer Jimmy Hernandez: "You'll kill him (Officer Ralph Pendelbury)! Or I'll kill you!" (Scene in "The Introduction"). They can kill indiscriminately and profit from rival gangs. Tenpenny himself has a dirty influence, calling on good cops to give up their ideals and help in the pursuit of his goals. He shows a callous indifference to the people around him, especially those like Carl, over whom he has power. He sees in such people only a tool and eliminates everyone who either realizes his usefulness or gets in his way. Tenpenny personifies megalomania and considers himself above the law. He is convinced that since he does a good job, he has the right to enrich himself at the expense of the city.

Tenpenny is constantly in company with Pulaski and a third member of C.R.A.S.H. Prior to the game's story, this third member was Ralph Pendelbury, whom Tenpenny killed in The Introduction for trying to investigate his activities. Shortly before Pendelbury's assassination, Tenpenny and Pulaski host new recruit Officer Jimmy Hernandez in a movie-like scene. training day. They both force Hernandez to kill Pendelbury, thus introducing him to their stinking deeds.

Tenpenny has known CJ since at least Brian Johnson's death, and CJ recognizes Tenpenny and calls him by his first name from the start of the game. Tenpenny has a lot of power and influence over Los Santos criminals. For him, CJ is like another tool in dirty business dealings. He and Pulaski blackmail several members of the Grove Street Family gang, including Big Smoke and Ryder, but Tenpenny seems to take some pleasure in controlling CJ.

Although Tenpenny claims to be fighting gangs to eliminate them all, he is in fact on the side of the Ballas, who (unlike Grove Street) have nothing against selling cocaine. C.R.A.S.H. allows the Ballas to flood the city with drugs, which turns many Groove members into drug addicts, effectively weakening their gang. Tenpenny also convinces Smoke to betray the gang in exchange for control of the drug deal. Tenpenny and Pulaski are responsible for the drive-by that killed Beverly Johnson, CJ's mother. When CJ returns to the funeral, C.R.A.S.H. pins Pendelbury's murder on him and threatens him with arrest if he does not follow Tenpenny's instructions.

Later, Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski kidnap Carl Johnson after a big gang attack, under a huge bridge in Mulholland, Los Santos. Sweet, injured in the shootout, is arrested and later charged with multiple felonies. Frank Tenpenny ensures that Carl is not arrested so that he can do the dirty work for C.R.A.S.H. They take Carl Johnson to the village of Angel Pine, and leave him there, with orders to kill a witness on Mount Chiliad, near this village, from the FBI. Tenpenny also tells Carl, who now knows of Smoke's relationship with C.R.A.S.H., not to kill Smoke or Sweet will be placed in a cell block with the Ballas. Tenpenny and Pulaski often indoctrinate Carl and usually order him to kill or discredit whoever threatens to reveal the true nature of C.R.A.S.H. With Smoke becoming a big deal in the city of Los Santos as his crack is controlled by C.R.A.S.H., Tenpenny's reach expands. Despite this, the FBI begins investigating a wave of drugs crippling the city. Carl finally realizes his independence from Tenpenny and Pulaski when he comes to Las Venturas. C.R.A.S.H. Carl is called into the desert, met him there, Tenpenny hits Hernandez on the head with a shovel for reporting them to the internal investigations department of the Los Santos Police Department. He leaves, leaving Carl to dig Hernandez's grave under Pulaski's care. Carl later kills Eddie Pulaski.

Tenpenny himself is ultimately accused of racketeering, corruption, misappropriation and use of drugs, and multiple instances of sexual assault. However, since the witnesses to the entire court case were either killed by Carl or somehow gone missing, Frank Tenpenny was acquitted, sparking a civil unrest in Los Santos reminiscent of the 1992 Los Angeles riot.

Right after Carl kills Smoke at the drug house, Tenpenny shows up with a suitcase for drug money. He plans to flee the city by plane. He plans to get to the airport by fire truck with the help of some rookie cops who are ready to work in his style. Hoping to kill CJ, Frank Tenpenny starts a fire in the drug lab on the floor below and then runs to the firetruck. Sweet, who arrived at the drug shelter with Carl, but remained in the car, jumps onto the truck's ladder and, dangling his legs in the air, tries in every possible way to catch Frank Tenpenny. After chasing around town, Carl catches Sweet in the passenger seat of his car and they continue to chase the Tenpenny, firing at the pursuing Ballas, Vagos, cops.

In the last scene of the story, Tenpenny loses control of the fire engine, it falls off the bridge and lands right in the center of Groove Street. Seriously injured, Frank Tenpenny crawls out and calls for help. Realizing that no one will come, he curses everyone, including the police. "Dumbass! You never understood what I did! Fifty people like me, and with this city everything would be OK! I cleared out the trash! I did it! - Tenpenny's last words, after which he dies from his injuries. Carl pulls out a gun to make sure this is the end. Sweet stops him, telling him not to leave any evidence behind. “Just a cop died in a traffic accident,” Sweet says. The radio announces that Tenpenny's corpse has been robbed by homeless people. The riot has stopped. Later, Sweet, Caesar, CJ, Kendl go to the Johnsons' house to sum up the results of the work done and immediate plans. Later, Madd Dogg comes to the house with his people, and thanks everyone for their help in business. After all this, CJ takes to the streets of the Ganton area, and enjoys a new life.

Tenpenny is based on Mac Burney's character in Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Neighborhood

Jimmy Hernandez

First appears in: "The Introduction"(in the car with Tenpenny and Pulaski, before Pendlebury was killed)

Killed in: "Hot Afternoon"

Officer Jimmy Hernandez- A new member of the C.R.A.S.H., an LSPD officer of Mexican origin. A recruit, and receives little, if any, respect from Tenpenny and Pulaski; he is sent to fetch meat for their barbecue and is made the object of racial ridicule. Unlike his colleagues, he does not share their corrupt view of how the law should be considered. They both try to convince Hernandez with their daily work like finishing off a dying cop who was a danger to Tenpenny and Pulaski.

In the prequel movie The Introduction, Tenpenny scolds him for describing the moral quandary caused by a family disagreement. Hernandez describes his predicament: whether to put a fighter husband in jail, leaving the children with their drug-abusing mother, or to let the husband go unpunished for beating his wife. Tenpenny says that if Hernandez can't handle this case, then he can't handle the "drug dealers, gangsters and psychopaths" that Tenpenny deals with every day. After a lecture on the need to "do what it takes" in maintaining a greater outcome, Tenpenny orders Hernandez out of the car.

After he finally realizes that things have gone too far, Jimmy decides to report the crimes of the entire C.R.A.S.H. and corruption until the moment he started working with them. In the mission "Hot Afternoon", Pulaski and Tenpenny crack down on Hernandez for betraying them. However, Hernandez, stunned by a blow to the head with a shovel, regains consciousness and subsequently saves CJ's life by lunging towards Pulaski (who held CJ's at gunpoint), who viciously shoots him in the chest, after which Hernandez falls straight into the grave with a running start dug by Carl

Hernandez was voiced by actor Armando Riesco ( Armando Riesco).

Wu Zi Mu ("Wuzi")

First appears in: "Wu Zi Mu"

Wu Zi Mu is the blind leader of a clan of Chinese triads, the guys from Mountain Cloud ( Mountain Cloud Boys), whose base is in San Fierro's Chinatown and, it seems, in Las Venturas, where Woozy has everyone and everything in the newly opened Four Dragons casino. In Las Venturas, Woozy and Carl plan and carry out a robbery of Caligula's casino.

Woozie has been nicknamed the "lucky mole" because he is favored by fortune, most notably in his ability to compete in car races and beat Carl in video games despite his blindness. There are, however, humorous occasions when he runs into walls, as well as the fact that his people manipulate the results of games with Woozy so that he always wins. For example, Woozy always beats his subordinates at blackjack, despite the fact that he cannot see the cards. One time he plays Carl, Woozy draws cards until he is finally down with 47 and then accuses Carl of "bringing bad luck" and states that "when he plays with his people, he always wins". Another time, when playing golf, his people move the cup, which plays the role of a hole, into the path of the Woozy ball and remove it from the path of the CJ's ball. Oddly enough, with his blindness, Wuzi is a good shooter. But Woozy is unable to complete a mission that requires swimming, because, by his own admission, all other senses, perfectly trained by him due to loss of vision, become useless under water. But it can swim if the player takes it into the water during the mission.

Although Woozy can become brutal and foul-mouthed when angry, he is by and large a peaceful and, by the standards of the underworld, an honorable man. He is not corrupted by power and remains Carl's loyal and trustworthy friend, accomplice and informant for the rest of the game. Six years later, in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, it can be seen that the Woozy casino in Las Venturas is a huge success, and by that time the Four Dragons are the site of many entertainments, concerts and important events. Wuzi is very similar to Neo from The Matrix.

Woozy was voiced by actor James Yegashi ( James Yaegashi).

Lance "Ryder" Wilson

First appears in: "Sweet and Candle"

Killed in: "Pier 69"

Lance Wilson(born 1963) is the eldest member of the Grove Street gang, who lives next door to the Johnsons' house, a former pal of Carl's, who smokes large amounts of marijuana mixed with PCP. Wanting to supply Grove Street with new firearms, Ryder calls on Carl to help capture some weaponry from several locations, including the home of a war veteran named Colonel Farberger, a forcibly stopped ammunition train, and a National Guard weapons depot.

Rider is deluded by his magnificence and possibly has a Napoleon complex due to his small stature. He fancies himself a genius and states that he didn't finish school because he was too intellectual, and not because of his involvement with the Grove Street family. In "The Introduction", Smoke approaches him by offering to betray the Grove Street families in order to get into the drug trade. After a bit of persuasion, Ryder agrees.

When Carl returns and begins his rise in the Grove Street families, Ryder becomes more and more jealous even though he is already an ally of the Ballas gang. Caesar shows Carl how Big Smoke and Ryder emerge from the garage and talk to the green saber car seen killing Carl's mother driving out of the garage. It is implied that Bick Smoke and Ryder were involved in the case, although they may have been involved later.

After Carl's betrayal and the rapid fall of the Grove Street family in the city of Los Santos, Ryder assists Smoke in establishing a drug trade with the Loco syndicate, and thus flooding Los Santos with cocaine. He later appears in the city of San Fierro. Ryder, T-Bone Mendez, San Fierro Reef and the Ballas meet at a deal. After Carl and Caesar and a squad of Triads shoot T-Bone at Pier 69, 29-year-old Ryder escapes and has a speedboat race with Carl, ending in his death. Alternatively, the player can have Carl shoot Ryder from the pier when he tries to swim away and take over the boat.

In a kind omen, CJ tells Ryder in one early mission, "One day, you'll be sorry you didn't kill me." It was later revealed that Ryder had tried to rape Kendl.

The rider has a Picador pickup ( Chevrolet El Camino chestnut) with a license plate "SHERM", slang term for PCP (CJ often refers to Ryder as "sherm-head"). The machine is always open for use. In the game, Ryder has a habit of calling CJ "buster". Carl also recalls that Ryder dealt with drugs when he was 10 years old, and once killed a teacher for wearing purple (the color of the Ballas) clothes.

Geoffrey "OJ Lock" Cross

First appears in: "Ou-Gi Lok"

Geoffrey Cross- a friend and neighbor across from Carl's house who pursues a goal: to make a career in rap on the example of gangsta rappers West Coast 1990s Although he is not a member of the groove, but takes on the "gangsta" nickname, Ou-Gi Lok, and commits minor crimes like car theft for a short time definitely to go to jail and thus gain the trust of the streets. However, Lok's rap is terrible and even his friends find it unbearable to listen to. Carl remembers him as a young guy and friend of his brother Brian, but then forgot about him until returning to Los Santos, where he later picks up Jeffrey from prison with Big Smoke and Sweet.

IN The Introduction Smoke tells Lock to give up his fantasies of being a gangster and instead go to college and make something of himself. However, he refuses, stating that rap is his true goal in life. The game suggests that while in prison, Lok engaged in homosexual activities with Freddy, an inmate, as mentioned in dialogue when CJ and Lok stalk and kill Freddy shortly after Lock's release from prison. Being paroled Lok is given a job as a janitor (which he refers to as a "Hygiene Technician") at a local fast food restaurant.

While working at the Burgers, OJ asks CJ to help him develop his music career by stealing some beach party equipment and a rhyme book from Madd Dogg, a hip-hop star in the city of Los Santos. Lock also had CJ ruin Dogg's career by killing his manager, who Lock believes was using his influence to hinder Lock's career. Shortly thereafter, Lock quits his job, deciding that he would rather break his parole and go back to prison than work in a job that is "not for a gangsta". However, since CJ's actions caused Dogg's breakdown and depression, Locke is given the opportunity to rise to stardom. After Carl is betrayed by his friends and he is kicked out of Los Santos, Lok becomes a mainstream rapper with the help of his agent, Engine.

Later in the game, after Carl saves Madd Dogg's life and is rewarded with his manager's job at Las Venturas, the two go after OJ to retrieve Dogg's rhyme book. After a long chase, Carl and Madd Dogg corner Locke, who agrees to quit rapping and leave them alone ever since.

This walking joke- his name "OG Loc" is often mispronounced; radio talk show host Lazlow calls him "Oglok", the music dj Sage talks about 'Oge Loke' and rival Madd Dogg rues the day his number one position was fooled by 'G Loco'. One of CJ's girlfriends calls him "OG Joke". In Grand Theft Auto IV, Loc's disc can be found in the Playboy X house. It is likely that after the events of GTA San Andreas Loc broke into people.

Ou-Gi Loka voiced Jonathan "Jas" Anderson.

Madd Dogg (Crazy Cupcake)

First appears in: "Texts by Madd Dogg"

Crazy Cupcake- one of the most famous rappers in Los Santos. Shortly after CJ's arrival in Los Santos, Dogg is becoming very popular, having just launched his own clothing line, as well as numerous other products. Dogg's career takes a turn for the worse after CJ steals his rhyme book and kills his manager to help out. musical career Oh G Loka.

Crazy Cupcake suffers a bout of depression, during which he loses his Mulholland mansion to a big drug dealer, the leader of the Los Santos Vagos gang, and misses a concert in Las Venturas to gamble the rest of his money. Contemplating to commit suicide, Madd Dogg appears on the edge of the roof of the casino, drunk and threatening to jump to his death. Among the crowd below, betting on whether he will actually jump (and asking him to take off some of his expensive clothes first), CJ saves him at the last minute by trapping his falling body in the back of a truck full of empty cardboard boxes.

Then Carl takes him to the hospital. Upon leaving, Madd Dogg, grateful, makes Carl his new manager. Carl takes part in rebuilding Cupcake's career by taking his mansion back and restoring his name in the rap industry. CJ and Crazy Cupcake go after Ouji Lok to get Cupcake's rhyme book back and force Lok to give up rapping and leave them alone. At the end of the game, Crazy Cake's return results in a golden disc.

Mark "Bee Dup" Wayne

First appears in the story mission cutscene: "Cleaning up the area"

B Dap left the Grove Street gang and is now a drug dealer. In the story mission "Cleaning Up the Neighborhood", Carl and Ryder try to call B Dup on the case, but he aggressively kicks them out of his apartment. Bee Dap also drugged former Grove Street gang member Barry Thorn, nicknamed Bear, who later became his slave and, for the sake of a new dose, performs any orders of Bee Dap (mainly cleaning his apartment and washing the toilet).

Later in the story mission "Take Down B Dup", Sweet and Carl threaten B Dup into revealing Big Smoke's location. He doesn't answer them as he doesn't know where he is, but informs them that only Smoke's close associates know where he is. When Bi Dap calls Bear to deal with the intruders, Bear knocks Bi Dap down with a punch to the jaw because he is tired of being his slave, and after that he leaves with Sweet. Bi Dap smashes his head when he falls.

Mike Toreno

First appears in video "The Introduction".

Mike Toreno is an undercover military counterintelligence agent who masquerades as a drug dealer for the Loko syndicate. At first, his presence is not entirely appropriate, and the lack of information about him worries Carl. In his first appearance in the game, Mike is kidnapped by the Da Nang gang, who steal one of the syndicate's drug vans with Toreno in the back. But Carl and T-Bone Mendez locate the vehicle using a cell phone and beacon, overtaking the truck on the San Fierro airstrip. Toreno loses his temper when he sees Carl's unfamiliar face and threatens to shoot him. Once Mendez calms him down, Toreno orders them all to open fire on the van and destroy it, thus removing the evidence.

After Jizzy B's death, Carl and his associates plan to ambush the syndicate's meeting with Big Smoke's cartel. Karl covers them with a sniper rifle, but Toreno, while in the helicopter, notices the corpses on the roof, and cancels his landing. Later, Carl tracks the helicopter elsewhere and shoots it down in the sky; Mike Toreno is presumed dead.

However, Toreno survives a helicopter crash. Shortly thereafter, using a digitally distorted voice, he calls Carl on his cell phone and orders him to come to his isolated ranch in the Tierra Robada area. There, he gives Carl a series of difficult tasks under duress: Toreno suggests that Sweet, who has been in prison for a long time, will be harmed if Carl does not work for him. Mike Toreno promises that if Carl cooperates, Sweet will stay safe and eventually be released. . Toreno apparently only supplied cocaine to appease a government ally abroad; he has since left the deals, and is now focused on working at his own agency (but all this work is done by Carl).

Philosophically speaking, Mike Toreno is a very cynical American imperialist who is opposed to communism. He primarily uses Carl as a courier, saboteur, and assassin. Although he is aware of Tenpenny and Pulaski's dirty dealings as well as their relationship with Carl, Toreno does not use his power to stop them. He tells Carl, “We have to make decisions, boy. You know what, I'm trying to incite bad people on other bad people. And sometimes, I let the good guys die." Toreno seems to be committed to committing heinous acts for the sake of a higher goal, which is very similar to. Although he seems to be more stable and reasonable than. In one of the videos, Toreno is reading the book "CONCPIRANCY THEORY" - a clear allusion to the film of the same name (in the Russian version of "Conspiracy Theory").

Toreno's missions, which include dropping payloads from aircraft while evading radar detection and shooting down black government helicopters on the plateau, seem almost impossible to Carl.

Over the course of the game, Carl is sent by Mike Toreno to buy an abandoned airfield, an unused airstrip, and an aircraft graveyard. This object is used to make Carl a pilot. In one of the game's more bizarre missions, a container jet lands unannounced on the runway, and men in black suits and sunglasses exit. Carl hides behind the boxes when Toreno appears out of nowhere and instructs him to sneak inside with a motorcycle and plant a bomb on the plane. When fighting the agents on board, they utter strange phrases like "Carbon-based clown!" and "You evolved from shrews!".

While Toreno initially views Carl as street trash and enjoys bringing up Sweet's dire situation, his attitude changes when Carl proves his ability to complete seemingly impossible tasks. He begins to like Carl, using him as a kind of "war buddy" and showing some degree of camaraderie. After Carl becomes the manager of rapper Madd Dogg and doesn't hear from Toreno for a while, the latter interrupts the sound system in Madd Dogg's mansion studio during a recording session and gives Carl one last task. He personally takes Carl to the eastern bay in San Fierro to infiltrate an aircraft carrier and steal a fighter jet. Hydra. After he destroys the pursuing enemy aircraft and bombs the radar ships in the tributaries of the river, Carl is fed up and does not want to do anything for Toreno; his rage is heightened when Mike Toreno leaves Carl with a hijacked military plane.

However, Toreno later reappears suddenly at Madd Dogg's mansion, and tells Carl that he has one more, but already a small task that must be completed. Hearing this, Carl grabs the weapon, but Toreno calmly replies that Carl is embarrassing himself. Then the phone rings: the task is simply to pick up Sweet after his early release from prison from the police department in Los Santos. Mike Toreno does not appear anywhere else in the game.

Toreno's car is a Washington executive sedan with an OMEGA number. James Woods provided his voice for Toreno and also bears a resemblance to the character.

Catalina

First appears in: "First meeting"

Catalina- Caesar's cousin Vialpando, who lives in an isolated house in rural area Fern Ridge ( Fern Ridge). She is almost completely insane, extremely strong, grumpy, and shows a strong tendency towards feminism and misogyny. After CJ finds himself in the middle of nowhere, Caesar suggests that he look for Catalina for a job.

From the first time CJ met Catalina, he didn't like her. Impatient, offensive, obnoxious and never admits of misconduct. Catalina insists that they together stage a series of robberies in the countryside, raiding several businesses in different villages. During all this, Catalina decides for herself that she - new girl CJ and threatens to kill him if he does not agree.

At the beginning of the third raid, Catalina has off-screen sex with CJ. CJ expresses disinterest, fear and lack of comfort, but Catalina doesn't care. As a result, CJ is even more aware of how crazy Catalina is, but what she calls his "lack of passion" just makes Catalina vomit and throw around at random. CJ is more interested in making quick money to get back on his feet than in pleasing Catalina, although he does try to do so.

However, no matter what CJ says or does, Catalina continues to berate him and call him a loser. In one scene, she threatens to kill anyone who plays with her, especially CJ, simply because she is in a bad mood. She eventually "leaves" CJ and finds herself with a new friend, the silent protagonist from Grand Theft Auto III. Catalina and Claude leave together for Liberty City, facing the events of GTA III.

Catalina is a dangerous psychopath: she is deadly and seems to suffer from persecution, which may be caused by her stepfather. “You were slow and stupid,” she says, “like a big fat son of a bitch who eats chocolate while his father gives his stepdaughter nothing but stale bread!”

After leaving with Claude, Catalina tries, but fails, to return to Carl by making calls on his phone. After the last mission of the game, Catalina calls while having sex with Claude and makes CJ listen to it. He says: “Catalina! You are sick! Go get well!" She replies, "You too, Carl, you're jealous!"

There are three fresh graves and a shovel near her house nearby. Apparently, these are her former lovers.

Catalina voiced for the second time Cynthia Farrell.

Righteous

First appears in: "Harvest of bodies"

The Truth is an old hippie who first lives in the mountains on the outskirts of San Fierro and owns a marijuana farm. The Righteous gets in touch with Carl while he is in exile in the hills of San Fierro and tells him to meet him at a roadside motel. When Carl arrives, he finds Tenpenny smoking The Righteous' marijuana from a bong. The righteous man asks Carl for help: to steal a harvester from a ranch owned by sectarians.

The Righteous provides Tenpenny with free drugs, mistakenly believing that in exchange a corrupt officer will protect him from prosecution. The righteous pays for his misplaced trust when Tenpenny raids his farm. The righteous man is forced to destroy his harvest before the arrival of the authorities. He gives Carl a flamethrower to burn the plants and an RPG-7 (which he intended to turn into a lamp) to shoot down a police helicopter. The righteous man moves with Carl to San Fierro and introduces him to, who are then hired to work in Carl's garage.

After Carl buys an abandoned airfield on the outskirts of Las Venturas, The Righteous appears unannounced. He somehow knows Mike Toreno's identity and is appalled that Carl is working for him. The righteous wants to help Carl redeem himself, this time by stealing a secret technology. He takes Carl to the military base (which is not on any map) and leaves him there. Carl is required to sneak into Area 69 in order to steal an experimental jetpack known as the "Black Project" from the bowels of the complex. The Righteous returns later, this time instructing Carl to use a jetpack to steal the device in a protective container being transported on a heavily guarded military train. Carl intercepts the train and takes the container, which contains a green, apparently radioactive substance of unknown origin. The righteous man, ecstatic, announces "They will call it New Era Year Zero!" before disappearing again without any explanation.

He later shows up at Mad Dog's mansion to see Carl and his associates. For the last time, he will be shown standing over the corpse of Officer Tenpenny along with the rest of the characters. He will congratulate Carl on "managing to defeat the system, something that he himself has been trying to do for 30 years."

At first glance, the Righteous is an eccentric, a conspiracy theorist obsessed with conspiracy theories. One day, he made Carl park in different places and wait for a black van to pull out, telling him to "think of a yellow rubber duck" and "imagine a pink golf ball in your mind." He also mentions Theory 23. In one of the missions, The Righteous claims that John F. Kennedy is alive and living with his wife in Scotland, and says that the cause of the Cold War is lizard-headed aliens who control American oil reserves. He has a vast knowledge of the conspiracies surrounding the government and foreigners, which makes Carl wonder about his craziness.

The Righteous has an eco-friendly hippie van called "Mothership" or "Flagship" (English Mothership) (repainted Camper with the number "EREHTTUO"; the number is written from right to left the phrase "OUTTHERE", which is a pun on the famous slogan "The truth is out there", whose engine is "supported by a macrame hammock" and runs on "15-year-old cooking oil". He is also familiar with many characters from past games such as Vice City, as well as with and . He frequently smokes marijuana and is involved in the production of LSD, mushrooms, mescaline, PMA, and peyote. The latter was the reason why Kent Paul and Macker "saw an inner light, communicated with the Lizard King and woke up in the desert, and the Righteous ended up in a Japanese bath."

An interesting fact: during one of the conversations between Karl and the Righteous, when he asks him to help him escape to San Fierro, he ends the conversation with the exclamation “I don’t know you! Who is this? No need to call here! I'm hanging up!"; this is a reference to the Pulp Fiction movie where Lance (drug dealer) says the same thing.

Jizzy B is the biggest pimp in San Fierro, and has a club called Pleasure Domes, which is located in an old fort under the Gant Bridge, in Battery Point. Although he plays a large role in syndicate business, he is shown arguing with T-Bone Mendez over profits.

Jizzy recruits Carl when he infiltrates the club to see what he can learn about the syndicate. Once Jizzy arranges a place for a big deal where Loco's syndicate members and representatives from Big Smoke (including Ryder) should meet, Carl decides to take out the pimp. Carl catches him at the club, but Jizzy runs away. He is subsequently killed during a car chase in the mission "Cold-Blooded Killer" after failing to escape in his pimpmobile.

The name Jizzy comes from the vulgarism "jizz", a slang term for semen.

Jizzy voiced Charlie Murphy.

Ken's companions are Macker, Kent Paul (who sometimes refers to Ken as "Rosie" in the game) and a parrot named Tony; he also gives CJ some assignments in Las Venturas. After CJ helps him fake his death and leave Las Venturas, he starts working for Madd Dogg, along with Macker and Kent Paul.

Salvatore Leone

First appears in: video "The Introduction"

Don Salvatore Leone - Don of the Leone family, a mob in Liberty City. He eliminated the influence of other families - Sindacco and Forelli, in Las Venturas, with the help of Carl, in order to get a large share of Caligula's casino in Las Venturas. In one of the missions, Leone sends Carl to steal a plane from the Las Venturas runway and fly towards another passenger aircraft in order to kill the Forelli assassins in the cabin. And later, Carl flies to Liberty City to get rid of his enemies. However, he is betrayed when Carl and the Triad gang from San Fierro organize a sophisticated robbery, and steal millions of dollars from Caligula's casino. This event is supposed to lead him to a highly visible paranoia in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories("GTA:LCS") and GTA III, and eventually to a kill in the last, when ambushed.

Moreover, it is in San Andreas Salvatore meets with, who at that time worked as a waitress in the casino of Caligula.

T-Bone Mendez

First appears in: video "The Introduction"

Killed in: "Pier 69"

T-Bone Mendez- One of the leaders of the Loco syndicate along with Mike Toreno, Jizzy and Ryder. He is also the leader San Fierro Reefs. T-Bone works as the muscle of the Loco syndicate and is very suspicious of humans. He viciously beats a man in The Introduction, because he suspects him of unreliability. T-Bone is killed in the mission "Pier 69" when CJ and Caesar Vialpando gun him down until his body falls into the bay. T-Bone is one of the leaders of San Fierro, who has good relations with the leaders of groups from other cities (mainly the Vagos from Los Santos). As for his nickname - "T-Bone" (T-Bone) is the name of a popular in the United States culinary dish of meat with bones. In terms of meaning, such a nickname can be interpreted as "Bone Piece of Meat" or something close to it.

There is also a version that T-Bone is none other than the survivor Diego Mendez, known to players from Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories. (Although this version is unlikely to be true because Diego Mendez in Vice City Stories looks to be 35 years old. And T-Bone looks to be 25 - 30 years old. In addition, Diego Mendez is Bolivian, and T-Bone is most likely Mexican) Voice Mendez was given by a rapper Kid Frost. "La Raza", a rap song produced by Frost, is featured on the Los Santos Radio playlist and the game's soundtrack.

Kent Paul

First appears in: "Don Cactus"

Kent Paul- record producer who was featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

After working as an unofficial informant in Vice City("unofficial" in the sense that Tommy Vercetti handled it whenever he wanted information), Kent Paul returned to England. There, he became an extraordinary music producer, bringing a new English ensemble, the Gurning Chimps (led by Macker), to San Andreas for publicity. Unfortunately, after he and the band travel with the Righteous into the desert beyond Las Venturas, he is left with only Macker.

Rescued by CJ, who was sent to find them, Paul heads to Las Venturas to meet his old acquaintance, Ken Rosenberg, or "Rosie" as he calls him (the two met in GTA: Vice City). Paul is displeased when Salvatore Leone hangs both him and Macker from the window of Caligula's casino. CJ managed to save Paul, Rosenberg and Macker from Salvatore's tenacious hands by faking their deaths and allowing them to escape from Venturas. Later, Paul starts producing Madd Dogg's records for the label at the request of CJ after Madd Dogg's career is back on track.

Kent Paul somehow joins Righteous, with whom he and Macker sampled peyote in the desert. In general, Kent Paul is a more sullen and tired person than he was 6 years ago and constantly wonders why he messes with Macker.

Kent Paul once again voiced Danny Dyer.

Later, Zero was involved in providing electronic equipment for a variety of assignments, such as providing assistance for the robbery of the Caligula casino. After the robbery, Carl finds out that Zero had previously bragged about the robbery to Berkeley, which almost put the case in jeopardy as it caused a lot of trouble during the robbery, during which Zero yelled, “Damn you! Nevertheless, Ryder and Smoke constantly make jokes about Emmett, scolding his goods in every way. In their opinion, the weapons that Emmet sells are very old and no good. There is an opinion that Emmett is short-sighted (when he sees Carl, he first takes him for the deceased Brian), as well as mentally unbalanced and possibly weak-minded (while cleaning the gun, he involuntarily shoots and immediately accuses Carl and Smoke of approaching him).

Only handguns can be purchased from Emmett, but Ryder later retrieves an old AK-47 from him, which the player uses for a short time and which jammed at the crucial moment, confirming Ryder and Smoke's misgivings about Emmett's merchandise.

Claude

First appears in: "Wu Zi Mu"

Claude, silent protagonist Grand Theft Auto III, appears in passing in two missions, first in the background when CJ and Caesar meet Wu Zi Mu before a street race, and second as Catalina's new boyfriend after CJ, whom Catalina doesn't hesitate to brag about after breaking up with CJ 'eat. Later, CJ receives several calls from Catalina, two of which are addressed to a man named "Claude". This suggests that the protagonist GTA III actually called "Claude" if you think Catalina is referring to him. The calls mention that in addition to being a car thief, Claude is a very poor man. Claude remains silent in GTA: SA, which Carl Johnson refers to as "a dumb bitch" and "a tongueless snake".

Mark "B-Dup" Wayne

OG B-Dup recently (and suspiciously) moved out of his Gunton home and into the Glen Park grounds - balla. Rumors suggest he drifted apart from the gang to rap and into "other activies." Forelli also participate and will use any good opportunity they see to eliminate their enemies.

Salvatore is voiced by Frank Vincent, who also played Salvatore in Grand Theft Auto III (2001) and starred in the 1990 film Goodfellas.

He owns a mansion in Mulholland, Los Santos. Maddog has never been seen on the streets and has nothing to do with gangs. Albums include "Huslin" Like Gangstaz", "Still Madd" and "Forty Dogg". According to OG Loc, Maddog is the only person stopping him from becoming a huge star.

Carl "CJ" Johnson

After learning about the murder of his mother, Carl returns home from Liberty City to Los Santos. There he learns other news - the Grove Street Families, the Johnson family gang, which was one of the strongest groups in the city a few years ago, has almost completely lost control of the streets. In addition, the police department wants to "hang" on Karl the murder of a policeman, which he did not commit.

Sean holds Carl responsible for the death of their younger brother Brian. Sweet is the head of the Grove Street Families gang and is respected by the Roschins. At the same time, he has many enemies in other factions. It is to him that CJ must prove his worth and the right to fight for the honor of the family.

Kendl Johnson

Sister Carla. Kendl constantly quarrels with her older brother Sean and is clearly not happy that Carl left for Liberty City, leaving his family at a difficult time. She is head over heels in love with Caesar Vialpando from the influential Latin group of Los Santos. After the death of her mother, the care of the house and brothers fell on Kendl's shoulders.

Melvin “Big Smoke” Harris

An old friend of the Johnson family, one of the most powerful individuals in the Orange Grove Families. Despite being overweight, Smoke often pulls off dirty jobs that require physical strength and agility. Melvin is an independent figure in the gang, so he runs his own business in San Fierro without Sean Johnson's consent.

Lance “Ryder” Wilson

Ryder is an old friend of Carl's and Sean Johnson's right-hand man. He performs all the bloody and important assignments in the gang and has a very high authority among the "Roshchinsky". Together with Ryder, CJ will get into more than one scrape.

Cesar Vialpando

Almost the entire body of Caesar is decorated with tattoos. Perhaps this is what helped him win the heart of Kendl, Carl Johnson's sister. Caesar is obsessed with cars, he is especially interested in stealing expensive sports cars and extravagant ones. Vialpando is one of the authorities in the Los Santos group Varios Los Aztecas. Having overcome the initial hostility, Caesar and CJ will become friends and turn together a lot of dirty deeds.

Wu Zi Mu

Their latest operation is the murder of Detective Pendelbury, who was trying to bring the criminal couple to clean water.

Ran Fa Li

He is also "Farley", head of the Red Gecko Tong, one of San Fierro's largest triads. The main enemies of Ran Fa Li are the Vietnamese bandits from The Da Nang Boys, who have already managed to destroy one of the triads and are now aiming at the Red Gecko Tong. However, Farley has ill-wishers in the ranks of the allies ...

Su Xi Mu

Also known by the nickname "Susie". Another person from the triads, the right hand of Wu Zi Mu. Su Zi Mu runs a bookmaker in San Fierro's Chinatown. Su's main opponents are the Vietnamese from The Da Nang Boys. Zero, the owner of an electronic toy store, was seen among the contacts.

Zero

Owner of an electronic toy store in the Garcia neighborhood of San Fierro. However, Zero believes that he sells not just toys, but reduced copies of real vehicles controlled by a remote control.

The Truth

The name of this man speaks for itself: a peaceful hippie, quietly floating on the river of life. The Truth drives a goofy van called The Mothership and befriends Jethro and Dwayne, both hippies like himself. Unfortunately, Pravda is doing business with Officer Tenpenny, and this, of course, will negatively affect his future fate.

Catalina

Her next victory on the love front is... do you remember the main character GTA 3? So, now we finally know his name - Claude. It is with him that Catalina intends to move to Liberty City.

Claude

A talented race car driver, also known as the "tongueless snake" and the main character GTA 3.

Jeffery “OG Loc” Martin

A young rapper and member of the OGF gang. Jeffrey's criminal career can hardly be called solid, but he has already managed to visit prison. Once free, OG Loc recorded a rap album called "Straight from Tha Streetz", and now all Jeffrey's thoughts are on music. Some argue that Martin is the worst rapper in history, others consider him a real discovery in the genre. Alas, competition from Madd Dogg prevents him from becoming a full-fledged star.

Madd Dogg

Madd Dogg is a state legend and one of the best rappers and producers on the West Coast. After the tragic death of his manager, Dogg fell into depression and quickly became addicted to alcohol and drugs. His luxury villa in the hills of Vinewood is worth a fortune. Madd Dogg has been linked to the Vagos gang and was even forced to give up his mansion for drug debts. His most notable albums are Huslin' Like Gangstaz, Still Madd and Forty Dogg. The main competitor and sworn enemy of OJ Lok.

Maccer

A former member of the Gurning Chimps, Macker is now a recording artist. He was born in Salford (UK), later moved to Manchester, where he became interested in show business. Macker invented his own style - "extremely baggy", managing to break every conceivable musical rule.

Known for his addiction to drugs and sadomasochism, as well as his personal Internet site located at http://www.maccer.net. His circle of acquaintances includes Kent Paul and Ken Rosenberg.

Kent Paul

We first met Kent in GTA: Vice City. After leaving the City of Vice, Paul moved to San Andreas, became addicted to drugs and now he often takes doses in the company of his friend Macker. Kent maintains a friendship with his old acquaintance - former lawyer Ken Rosenberg, whom he met back in Vice City.

Ken Rosenberg

Rosenberg is another character familiar to us from Vice City. After losing his job as a lawyer, Ken began looking for his old friends, but attempts to reach Tommy Vercetti were unsuccessful, and Ken fell under the influence of Don Salvatore Leone.

Rosenberg is now the manager of Caligula's Palace Casino in Las Venturas. His establishment was at the very center of the confrontation between the Leone, Sindacco and Forelli families, fighting for control of the gambling business in the city. Ken remains neutral, but if one of the parties wins, the others will settle accounts with him.

Salvatore Leone

Are you saying Leone is dead? Yes, it is, but do not forget that the events GTA: San Andreas unfold in 1992, almost a decade before GTA 3. Even then Don Salvatore was influential person. His clan is fighting the Sindacco family for control of the Caligula's Palace casino in Las Venturas. Not so long ago, the Forelli group also joined the conflict.

Jethro and Dwaine

After Tommy Vercetti bought out their Vice City boathouse, Jethro and Dwayne traveled to San Andreas. Jethro became addicted to drugs, and Dwayne made a living selling hot dogs in San Fierro. Things were going badly for friends until CJ showed up. Our hero offered them a job in one of the garages in the Dougherty area.

Mike Toreno

An undercover CIA agent who heads the Loco syndicate. This organization has nothing to do with protecting the rights of workers, but is one of the state's criminal groups. Toreno has a lot of enemies, Mike often uses Carl to eliminate them. Toreno has connections with T-Bone Mendez, Jizzy B, Ryder and Smoke.

Jizzy B

Jizzy helps the Loco syndicate pull off shady deals, but is unhappy with his cut. In addition, he also has personal business- nightlife club Jizzy's Pleasure Domes in San Fierro. Most of the profit comes from pimping. Seen in ties with T-Bone Mendez, Mike Toreno and other drug dealers.

T-Bone Mendez

A native of northern Mexico. Mendez does the dirty work for the Loco syndicate. This thug has several corpses on his account, so any conflicts with him can lead to lethal outcome. T-Bone works mostly with Mike Toreno, but also has his own drug business with Latino gangs in San Fierro, heading the Rifa.
