During his stay in Mozambique, Anatoly Kozeruk met doctor Amina Akhmetova from a volunteer group from Almaty. Returning to Moscow with her, they got married in 2007. Soon they had a son, named Mikhail in honor of his grandfather-doctor Anatoly.

Currently, the family of Anatoly Nikolaevich Kozeruk lives in Moscow. Anatoly Nikolaevich and his wife continue to work for the benefit of the Institute of Clinical Cardiology, and also operate in their own clinic.
