During his stay in Mozambique, Anatoly Kozeruk met doctor Amina Akhmetova from a volunteer group from Almaty. Returning to Moscow with her, they got married in 2007. Soon they had a son, named Mikhail in honor of his grandfather-doctor Anatoly.

Currently, the family of Anatoly Nikolaevich Kozeruk lives in Moscow.
