In 2017, the Russian furniture and home goods retailer Hoff increased revenue by 43.4% to RUB 26.2 billion. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the company’s message. In 2016, the same figure increased by 30% to RUB 18.3 billion.

In 1973, one of the top managers Herbert Koch, who is now a co-owner of the KIKA company, opened a new direction in the company’s activities by organizing the creation of the first KIKA hypermarket, which implemented a new idea for that time. It consisted in the fact that buyers themselves carried out the selection and assembly of furniture. By taking this idea and adding a new cash and carry format that allowed them to buy the vast majority of goods that the company delivered immediately, KIKA became one of the leaders in the field.

In 2000, the company began promoting into the countries of Central and of Eastern Europe. Today, this is one of the retailers supplying furniture to European countries, which constantly responds to consumer wishes, changing its assortment policy, and offers a larger list of additional services.
