Games for winter holidays in kindergarten

Salikhova Elena Nikolaevna, music director kindergarten No. 89 “Golden Grains”, city of Sevastopol.
The content of the work. Three mass New Year's games are offered to the attention of readers. These games are designed for New Year's parties held with older and older children. preparatory group. These games are best played with a large number of children, at least twelve to fifteen people. Then they will be fun, and the children will receive that very portion of positive emotions that you are counting on. You can understand how these games “work” by reading my New Year’s scenarios posted on the “Pantry of Entertainment” website.
Purpose of the game material. First of all, these games may be of interest to music directors working with the age category of six to seven years, no younger. They will be appropriate for winter holidays and entertainment in kindergarten and primary school. They can also be used during winter celebrations in various open areas.
Target: Creating a cheerful, joyful mood among children present at the holiday.
Tasks:
Active participation each child in the festive action.
Free expression of children's positive emotions.
Children's creative use of their knowledge in a relaxed playful atmosphere.

Game "Tell me how you live?"
This game was developed by me directly for the New Year's Guests scenario. But it can be used at any children's party where fun and jokes are expected. No attributes are required to play this game. It is carried out by two adult characters participating in a children's party. It could be Winter and Father Frost, Snow Maiden and Father Frost, Snow Maiden and Winter, two Buffoons and so on. The words of the game must be pronounced clearly and clearly by each character in turn. The second character does everything the children are supposed to do and say. This will be a kind of hint for children. An option is possible when one character says all the words, and the other, together with the children, performs all the game actions. In addition to the purely gaming component, the value of this game is that it can be a prologue to a surprise gift-giving.

Progress of the game.
First character: Are we going to play with the guys today?
Second character: Certainly! How can we not play? I suggest playing the game “How are you living?”
First character: Then we start asking the guys questions, and let them answer them, not only with words, but also with gestures.
The game "Tell me how you live?" The holiday characters ask questions one by one.
How are you guys living? Children: Great! Extend your right hand forward with your thumb up.
How do you guys chew? Children: Hrum, crunch, crunch, crunch!
How are you guys playing pranks? Children: La - la - la! La - la - la! At the same time, they raise their arms bent at the elbows with their fingers spread and jump around themselves.

Show me how you threaten? Children: But - but - but! Swing up index finger.
Show me how you go? Children: One, two! One, two! They walk in place.
How are you drinking water, kids? Children throw back their heads, bring two hands to their mouths and make a sucking movement with their lips.
How do you kids cry? Children rub their fists in their eyes and whine.
How do you jump for joy? Children jump on the spot.
How quietly are you standing? Children: Shh-h-h! Place your index finger on your lips.
And show me “Goodbye”! Children: Goodbye! They wave their hand. At this time, the characters pretend that they are about to leave. They wave goodbye to the children. One of the adults detains them at the holiday. If, on the contrary, the characters need to leave, then they have the opportunity to leave quietly.
Note. It’s okay if the children, in response to the character’s question, make another, appropriate gesture, or say their own line. This will express their spontaneity and creativity. There is no need to stop the game or reprimand the children because of this. This can ruin the festive mood not only to this child, but also to everyone present.

Game "Fun workout"
I composed this game for the annual district winter holiday. Each kindergarten exhibited its fairy-tale characters to participate in this holiday. They should have come with their original game. Before the performance, all the characters demonstrated to the professional commission what games were included in their performances. We didn't want our artists to have to blush for the fact that their games coincided with anyone else. Therefore, I decided to compose my own game. Since the game was supposed to be played with a very large number of children, I immediately excluded the paraphernalia.
The game is played by one or two characters invited to the party. In this case, these were two Buffoons. One character shouts out the words and the other says the words and performs the actions with the children. If the game is played by one character, then he must both speak words and perform actions according to the content of the game.
Progress of the game.
Characters:
And now we kids
We invite you to the game.
To make it more interesting,
We will do everything together.

Let a fun warm-up make us friends.
We are doing a fun workout for you!
Children perform actions based on the content of the “Warm-up”.
Let's drown everything together.
Now let's clap!
Let's wave our wings. They wave with both hands.
Let's dance like bunnies. They jump on two legs.

Let's crow the cockerels.
Let's stand on one leg. Stand on one leg, arms to the sides.

We moo like cows.
Let's meow like cats.

And the little mice: pi - pi - pi!
They hid from the cat! Squat down.

We'll stretch our necks.
Who has it longer? They stand up and stretch their necks.

Everything is like geese: ha – ha – ha!
Are we having fun? Children: Yes Yes Yes!
We don't stand, we run. Run in place.
We play pranks like monkeys. Spread your fingers and bend over
from side to side.

We want to scare everyone.
Let's roar like little tigers! They growl loudly: r - r - r - r - r!

We don't stand still
Together, we run merrily. Run in place.

We clap our hands! They clap.
We stomp very loudly! They stomp.

Together we will shout: hurray! They jump up and down and scream.
It's time to end the fun workout!

Note. This game can be played on any mass celebration- walking. For example, on Maslenitsa or Preschool Worker's Day. Can be done both outdoors and indoors.

Game "Magic Snowflakes"
I came up with this game to play on New Year's holiday in the preparatory group. It has a narrower purpose. Designed for children of the preparatory group. It can be done with older children if they can read and form words independently. The game is played by Grandfather Frost.

To play, you will need double-sided paper snowflakes. Some of them have quite brightly written letters. The letters of one word must be written in the same color. But each word should have its own color scheme. Snowflakes are laid out in advance under the Christmas tree or on its branches with letters down before the start of the holiday.

Progress of the game.
Father Frost: Oh, what a lot of snow there is!
There are even snowflakes on your Christmas tree. Do you want to play with them?
Presenter: Of course we do, Grandfather Frost!
Father Frost: But first I'll do a little magic.
Santa Claus walks around the Christmas tree, waving his staff.
Father Frost:
Snowflakes are fluff, messengers of Winter,
Become magical for our game.
It seems that it worked.
Let the music sound more fun
Start the game quickly!
Cheerful music sounds, children run up to the Christmas tree, take any Snowflake and run around the hall with it.

Father Frost:
It's time for the Snowflakes to go to sleep.
It's time for them to cover the ground. All children squat.
Father Frost:
The wind blew stronger
Scatter, hurry up. The children are running around the hall again.
Father Frost:
Spin around more fun
Near your Christmas tree. Children pick up snowflakes and spin around them.
Father Frost:
Now we'll find out who's quicker
He will be able to collect words faster.

Children quickly find a place to make up the words: SNOW and WINTER. They stand in front of the Christmas tree facing the guests and show their WORD.
Children whose snowflakes do not have letters on them gather in the “Sugrob”. They run up to each other, squat on one knee and move their hand with the snowflake to the side.

Father Frost: Thank you, dear grandchildren. Take these snowflakes as a gift.
The children run away and put the snowflake under their chair to take with them at the end of the holiday.
Note. This game can only be played if it is first practiced with children. The surprise is that the children do not know which Snowflake (with or without a letter) they will get. The words for compilation were not taken by chance. None of the letters in the words WINTER and SNOW are repeated. In addition, it is immediately clear, without prompting, which word should be composed. This is very important point. If you want to take other words for children to compose, you need to pay attention to this.
I wish everyone who wants to use the games I have developed in their work, that they help create real fun and a joyful mood at your holiday

New Year's games for preschoolers: description of games

Game 1. “Where are our hands”: we play with a toy Santa Claus and develop the child’s speech

In this fun grammar game, your child will quietly learn to use words correctly in genitive case plural, and we will prevent many speech errors.

To play you need a paper figure of Santa Claus or a toy Santa Claus.

How to play:

We go with the child to the toy Santa Claus and say the rhyme:

“You are kind, you are bright,

You're wearing a fur coat, you're wearing a hat,

Your nose is red.

So you are Santa Claus!

Santa Claus, Santa Claus,

Don’t freeze our hands!”

Santa Claus answers (the adult speaks on behalf of the toy cheerfully and jokingly): “Where are your hands? I’ll freeze it now!”

The players’ task is to quickly hide the named part of the body and tell Santa Claus: “Our hands are gone!”

You can cover the named part of the body with your palms, clothes or a scarf or handkerchief. You can stand so that your hands are not visible and cover each other’s hands.

Santa Claus: Where are your legs?

Adult and children: Our legs are missing (we hide our legs under a chair, under a scarf).

Santa Claus: Where are your heels?

Adult and children: Our heels are missing (we hide our heels when sitting on our knees).

Every time a child and an adult figure out how to hide the named part of the body from the Santa Claus toy (no noses, mouths, ears, cheeks, eyes, elbows, knees, etc.). If the child made a mistake, for example, said: “We don’t have eyebrows” instead of “eyebrows,” then Santa Claus asks him again: “Something I didn’t hear - where are your eyebrows?”

Game dictionary:

For small children under 3.5 - 4 years old, we use the simplest words in the game: no heels, knees, arms, legs, palms. Then we introduce more complex words - no mouths, ears, noses, mouths, cheeks, eyebrows, necks, chins, lips, foreheads, etc.

At the end of a dialogue of 5-7 lines (“we don’t have..”), the toy Santa Claus says jokingly:

"One two Three! Run away from the frost! I'll freeze it!" And the child runs away from the frost to the appointed place (his house). The game is repeated again 1-2 more times.

Game 2. New Year's educational game “Guess the Christmas tree toy”: speech development and spatial orientation

The game is played next to a Christmas tree decorated with toys.

Option 1. Guess the toy from the description.

First, look at the toys on the Christmas tree, does the child know who it is, what is the name of this toy? Then the child describes the toy, naming its characteristics. The players guess. When the toy is guessed, everyone imitates this toy to cheerful music.

For example: “This toy is very fun. She has a big blue hat and yellow trousers. She holds a large book in her hands. This toy smiles” (Dunno).

Or “This toy is small. She white. She has long ears and a short tail. She can jump. This toy is very afraid of the fox and the wolf. Who is this?".

If it is difficult for a child to make a wish for a toy, then an adult tells him the beginning of the phrase: “This toy…. Which? She has... what? What kind of tail does she have?

Option 2. Guess the toy by its “address”.

Each toy has its own “address” on the New Year tree. First, look at the Christmas tree: who lives where? Who lives next to the bear? What toys live above/below the house? Which toys live to the right of the fox, and which ones live to the left of the fox?

Then the presenter makes a riddle for a toy, and the children try to guess which toy is riddled by asking the presenter questions: does this toy live on the tree above the bear figurine? Is it to the right of the asterisk? Is she to the left of the candy? In the future, the children make wishes for toys, and the adult guesses them based on the questions.

Game 3.New Year's speech game "Masks": development of speech and logical thinking

In a fun game we will teach the child to ask questions in a logical sequence and conduct a dialogue.

You will need: ready-made New Year's masks for children or homemade masks.

How to play:
Step 1. A mask is put on the child’s head so that he does not see the image on it. There should be no mirrors in the room so that the child cannot see what kind of mask is on his head.

Step 2. The kid tries to guess what role he plays by asking questions to the players. Questions can only be answered “yes” or “no”.
For example: Am I human? (No). Am I an animal? (Yes). I can jump? (Yes). Can I run? (Yes). Am I green? Do I eat grass? I am kind? etc.

Step 3. After the child has guessed, he takes off the mask and checks the correctness of the answer. And passes on the role of guesser to the next kid.

First, the adult shows how to play this game (becomes the leader of the game, asks a sequence of questions and guesses his mask), then the child guesses.

Helpful advice. How to make a mask:

Option 1. Cut out a strip of paper and glue a picture of a fairy-tale hero or animal to it. The mask and headband are ready. It can also be used to stage fairy tales at a children's New Year's party.

Option 2. Draw the animal’s face. We make two slits on the side and insert ties. We tie the mask on the child's head.

Game 4. Game with snowflakes “Guess the surprise”: speech development

Through the game we enrich and activate children’s vocabulary, we teach the child to speak vividly, figuratively, and expressively.

Make snowflakes out of paper (How to make different types snowflakes can be recognized). Make a large pile of them on a table or floor. Place a surprise (picture, sticker) under the snowdrift so that it is not visible what exactly is hidden under the snowdrift. Ask your child to “disenchant” the snowdrift and find the prize.

In order for the snowflakes to fly away, you need to praise them - name which snowflakes. They are... white, openwork, patterned, cold, shiny, dancing, beautiful, wonderful, icy, fluffy, small, etc.

The adult and child take turns saying one word each. An adult names complex words that are rarely encountered in everyday life, enriching the child’s vocabulary. The child names simpler words in the game.

The number of snowflakes in a snowdrift depends on the age of the child and the level of development of his speech. For the smallest children, it is enough to choose 5 words for the child; for older children, it can be 10-15 words.

When all the snowflakes have flown away, the baby can see the surprise that was hidden under the snowdrift and take it for himself.

Game 5. Find a New Year's surprise: learning to navigate in space

Option 1. Ask your child to go out the door and hide the New Year's toy - a surprise. When he enters the room, tell him the way to the toy. An approximate path can be told like this: “Go straight to the table, turn right at the table (the child does). Walk five steps. Now one step back, turn left (the child does). Walk two steps. Search!” In the first games, you can give a three-year-old child one or two commands; give a four-year-old child no more than 2-3 commands. Then you can increase the number of teams to 5 or even more.

Option 2. When your child masters this game, make it more difficult. In the second version of the game, the baby needs to name the direction in which he is going. Here's how it's done.

Cut out arrows of different colors from colored paper or colored cardboard and place them on the floor. Tell your child: “Go where the red arrow is pointing, walk three steps. Where should you go?” (the child names the direction: left, right, straight or back). “Then go where the blue arrow points. Where is she taking you? (the child calls right or left, forward or backward) Walk 2 steps.” Now search!

Option 3. For older preschoolers, make the task more difficult. Draw a room plan in advance. On the plan, mark the window, door and main pieces of furniture with bright colored rectangles, squares, circles. Mark on the plan with a cross the place where you hid the New Year's surprise.

The child will need to look at the plan of the room, find a door, window, closet, table, sofa on the plan; your location in the room; the place where the prize is hidden. And then find a surprise. It could be a surprise from Santa Claus, or his new task, or a riddle, or a picture - a coloring book, or a small new New Year's toy for the Christmas tree.

Game 6. Family game “One, two, three, look”: a game for unity, liberation and good mood

Both children and adults participate in the game. Players are divided into pairs. Each couple agrees with each other in advance what they will perform for everyone. It could be a small quatrain about a Christmas tree, one verse from a famous New Year's song, a tongue twister, a rhyme or a simple phrase, New Year's greetings for everyone. Can be prepared in advance small texts to help adults learn them with kids.

The first couple goes to the Christmas tree and performs their surprise for everyone.

Immediately after this, the game leader says to the first pair: “One…. Two….. Three…..”, stretching out the pauses between words. In response to these words, the players from this pair need to quickly stand with their backs to each other. The presenter continues: “Look.” Players in a pair turn their heads to the right or left.

If the players in a pair match (that is, they both turned in the same direction - for example, towards the tree, towards the window), then they hug and congratulate each other on the New Year. Or maybe they receive a small gift, for example, a cranberry in powdered sugar or a picture, a sticker, a coloring book, or a small prize.

At the end of the game, all players receive small prizes.

Game 7. When Christmas tree decorations come to life: development of expressiveness of movements, emancipation of the child

Look at the toys on the Christmas tree with your children. Tell us that at night, when people sleep, Christmas tree decorations come to life.

Let's close our eyes and imagine what our favorite Christmas tree toy does at night (horse, Snow Maiden, icicle, flashlight, etc.). What is she doing? (we name possible actions - the doll dances, goes to visit, sings songs, bats its eyelashes, combs its hair, etc.)

Tell your child: “Now guess what my favorite Christmas tree toy was as a child. I’ll show you how she came to life at night.” Picture, for example, a soldier beating a drum. Or a doll. You can perform any actions as a toy - walk around the room, greet the child, examine various objects, salute. But toys don’t know how to speak - they do it all in silence!

The child guesses the toy you wished for.

Then the child makes a wish for his Christmas tree toy and shows you with gestures what he does at night silently, so as not to wake up his owners. And you guess.

Game 8. Family game “Pass Santa’s Letter”: we introduce the child to polite words, develop a culture of communication

Take an envelope or bag and put small New Year's surprises in it. Prepare audio fragments of different New Year's songs (the duration of one fragment is 30-45 seconds).

How to play:

Option 1. All players sit in a circle. Turn on the music and pass the envelope around. The rule is that when handing over an envelope (bag), you must make a polite request. Otherwise, the envelope cannot be handed over. Adults help children by prompting them at first different variants wording of the request.

Game dictionary: how can I ask

- Misha, please pass the letter (bag) on.

- Vanya, do a good deed, please pass on the letter.

- Lena, if it’s not difficult for you, pass the letter.

- Grandma, could you pass the letter?

- Mommy! Please pass the letter on!

- Olenka! I beg you very much: pass on the letter.

Polite words: Please. Be a friend. I beg you. Please. Could you. If you do not mind. Be so kind.

As soon as the music stops, the passing of the letter in the circle also stops. This means that the one on whom the music stopped (who now has the letter) can open it and take one picture as a gift. Then the music begins to sound until a new stop.

Option 2. From the envelope we take out not prizes in the game, but tasks - forfeits (sing a song, wish everyone a Happy New Year, pretend to be Santa Claus, make a wish New Year's riddle etc.)! If the music stops, the player takes the task out of the envelope and completes it. The envelope must contain not only tasks, but also empty surprise cards, as well as small gifts. The intrigue of the game - what will the player encounter? You'll be surprised how quickly adults can pass envelopes to each other in this game! 🙂

New Year's games for preschoolers: card index of games in pictures

You can print the card index of New Year's games from this article on A4 sheets.

Design of the card file “New Year's games for preschoolers” (here below, as an example, compressed pages of the folder with New Year's games are given; pages for printing on a printer can be downloaded from the link above).

1. Tiger Tail

All players line up, holding the belt or shoulders of the person in front of them. The first in this line is the head of the “tiger”, the last is the “tail”. At the signal, the “tail” begins to catch up with the “head”, which is trying to escape. The task of the rest of the tiger’s “body” is not to come apart. After several attempts by the “tail” to catch up with the “head”, the children change places and roles.

2. Little funny

Each player gets a name: snowflake, firecracker, Christmas tree, tiger, candle, flashlight, etc. All names must be related to the New Year. One presenter is selected and asks various questions to everyone in turn. The presenter should not know the names of the participants. Participants answer any question from the presenter with their name.

For example:

Who are you? - Snowflake - What do you have (points to nose)? - Flashlight - What do you like to eat? - Christmas tree

The one who laughs is out of the game.

Alternatively, the one who laughs must guess a riddle or complete some task. After the first round, you can change the names of the participants, choose another leader and continue the game until you get tired of it.

3. Postmen

Team game. In front of each team, at a distance of 5-7 meters, there is a thick sheet of paper on the floor, divided into cells in which the endings of names are written (cha; nya; la, etc.). Another sheet of paper with the first half of the name is cut in advance into pieces in the form of postcards, which are folded into shoulder bags.

The first team numbers put their bags on their shoulders, at the leader’s signal, they rush to the paper sheet on the floor - the addressee, take out a postcard with the first half of the name from the bag and put it to the desired ending. When they return, they pass the bag to the next player on their team. The team whose mail finds its addressee faster wins the game.

4. Journey in the dark

This game will require bowling pins and blindfolds according to the number of participants. Team game. The pins are placed in a “snake” pattern in front of each team. Teams holding hands and blindfolded try to go the distance without hitting the pins. 10. Poetry competition

You can prepare cards in advance with rhymes for your future New Year's greetings (toast) and distribute them to guests (including school-age children) at the beginning of the evening.

Rhyme options:

Grandfather - summer nose - frost year - the third is coming - millennium calendar - January

The results of the competition are summed up at the table or when gifts are presented.

11. Snowball

Redemption of New Year's prizes from Santa Claus's bag can be arranged as follows. In a circle, both adults and children pass a specially prepared “snowball” - made of cotton wool or white fabric. “Kom” is passed on and Santa Claus says:

We all roll a snowball, We all count to “five” - One, two, three, four, five - You should sing a song. Or: Should I read poetry for you? Or: You should dance a dance. Or: Let me tell you a riddle...

The person who redeems the prize leaves the circle, and the game continues.

12. There are Christmas trees

We decorated the Christmas tree with different toys, and in the forest there are different types of Christmas trees, wide, short, tall, thin. Now, if I say “high,” raise your hands up. “Low” - squat and lower your arms. “Wide” - make the circle wider. “Thin” - make a circle already. Now let's play! (The presenter plays, trying to confuse the children.)

13. Telegram to Santa Claus

The guys are asked to name 13 adjectives: “fat”, “red-haired”, “hot”, “hungry”, “sluggish”, “dirty”... When all the adjectives are written down, the presenter takes out the text of the telegram and inserts into it the missing adjectives from the list .

Text of the telegram: "... Grandfather Frost! All... children are looking forward to your... arrival. New Year is the most... holiday of the year. We will sing for you... songs, dance... dances ! Finally... New Year is coming! I don't want to talk about... studying. We promise that we will only receive... grades. So, quickly open your... bag and give us... gifts. With respect to you... boys and... girls!"

14. Let's make lids

For participants in the game, Santa Claus invites them to look from a distance at a set of cans of various sizes and shapes. You cannot pick them up. Each player has a piece of cardboard from which they must cut out the lids so that they exactly match the holes of the cans. The winner is the one with the most lids that exactly match the openings of the cans.

15. Piglets

For this competition, prepare some delicate dish - for example, jelly. The participants' task is to eat it as quickly as possible using matches or toothpicks.

16. Smeshinka

Each player gets a name, say, a cracker, a lollipop, an icicle, a garland, a needle, a flashlight, a snowdrift... The driver goes around everyone in a circle and asks various questions:

Who are you? - Firecracker. - What holiday is today? - Lollipop. - What do you have (pointing to your nose)? - Icicle. - What drips from the icicle? - Garland...

Each participant must answer any questions with their “name”, while the “name” can be declined accordingly. Those answering questions should not laugh. Whoever laughs is eliminated from the game and gives away his forfeit. Then there is a drawing of tasks for forfeits.

17. Mask, I know you

The presenter puts the mask on the player. The player asks different questions to which he receives answers - hints:

This animal? - No. - Human? - No. - Bird? - Yes! - Homemade? - Not really. - Is she cackling? - No. - Quacks? - Yes! - It's a duck!

The person who guesses correctly is given the mask itself as a prize.

18. Harvest

The task of the players of each team is to move the oranges to a certain place as quickly as possible without using their hands. Santa Claus is the presenter. He gives the start and announces the winner.

19. Tear the newspaper

Santa Claus chooses 2 participants in the competition. The task is to tear the newspaper as quickly and as small as possible. With one hand, right or left, it doesn’t matter - tear the newspaper into small pieces, while the hand is extended forward, you cannot help with your free hand. Who will do the smallest job?

20. Fairy tale

When you have at least 5-10 guests (age does not matter), offer them this game. Take a children's book with a fairy tale (the simpler the better, “Ryaba Hen”, “Kolobok”, “Turnip”, “Teremok”, etc. are ideal). Choose a leader (he will be the reader). From the book, write down all the characters of the fairy tale on separate pieces of paper, including, if the number of people allows, trees, stumps, a river, buckets, etc. All guests pull out pieces of paper with roles. The presenter begins to read the fairy tale, and all the characters “come to life”....

21. Laughter

Any number of participants can play. All participants in the game, if it is a free area, form big circle. In the center is the driver (Santa Claus) with a handkerchief in his hands. He throws the handkerchief up, while it flies to the ground everyone laughs loudly, the handkerchief is on the ground - everyone calms down. As soon as the handkerchief touches the ground, this is where the laughter begins, and from the funniest we take a forfeit - this is a song, a poem, etc.

22. Rope

It is necessary that the majority of those gathered have not played it before. A long rope is taken in an empty room and a labyrinth is stretched so that a person, while passing, crouches somewhere and steps somewhere. Having invited the next player from the next room, they explain to him that he must go through this labyrinth blindfolded, having first remembered the location of the rope. The audience will give him hints. When the player is blindfolded, the rope is removed. The player sets off, stepping and crawling under a non-existent rope. Spectators are asked in advance not to give away the secret of the game.

23. Roll

This game will help all your guests get to know each other. Guests sitting at the table pass the roll around in a circle toilet paper. Each guest tears off as many scraps as he wants, the more the better. When each guest has a stack of scraps, the host announces the rules of the game: each guest must tell as many facts about himself as he has torn scraps.

24. With signs

At the entrance, each guest receives his new name - a piece of paper with the inscription is attached to his back (giraffe, hippopotamus, mountain eagle, bulldozer, bread slicer, rolling pin, cucumber, etc.). Each guest can read what the other guests are called, but, naturally, cannot read what he himself is called. The task of each guest is to find out his new name from the others throughout the evening. Guests can only answer “Yes” or “No” to questions. The first one to find out what is written on his piece of paper wins.

25. Joke game

All guests stand in a circle and put their hands on each other's shoulders. The presenter (Santa Claus) says “duck” or “goose” in everyone’s ear (scattered, say “duck” to more players). Then he explains the rules of the game: “If I now say: “Goose,” then all the players whom I called so will tuck one leg. And if “Duck,” then the players whom I called “Duck” will tuck both legs.” You are guaranteed a heap.

26. Mysterious chest

Each of the two players has their own chest or suitcase, in which various items of clothing are folded. The players are blindfolded, and at the leader’s command they begin to put on things from the chest. The players' task is to dress up as quickly as possible.

27. Colors

The players stand in a circle. The presenter commands: “Touch yellow, one, two, three!” Players try to grab the thing (object, part of the body) of the other participants in the circle as quickly as possible. Those who do not have time are eliminated from the game. The presenter repeats the command again, but with a new color. The last one standing wins.

28. Ride the ball

All competition participants line up in teams of 3 people. Each “three” of players receives a tight volleyball. At the signal from the leader, one of the three players, supported by the elbows of two other players, steps on the ball and rolls it. The group that reaches the finish line first wins.

29. Draw a sun

This relay game involves teams, each of which lines up in a single column. At the start, in front of each team there are gymnastic sticks according to the number of players. A hoop is placed in front of each team, at a distance of 5-7 meters. The task of the relay participants is to take turns, at a signal, running out with sticks, placing them in rays around their hoop - “draw a sun.” The team that completes the task faster wins.

30. Fast walkers

Participants are asked to stand on the base of a dumbbell with one foot and push off the floor with the other to overcome a given distance.

31. Sculptors

Participants in the game are given plasticine or clay. The presenter shows or names a letter, and the players must, as quickly as possible, create an object whose name begins with this letter.

32. It's the other way around

Players are invited to try to draw or color something, but with their left hand, and those who are left-handed use their right.

33. Crumple up the newspaper

Inventory: Newspapers by number of participants. Game: An unfolded newspaper is placed on the floor in front of the players. The task is to crumple the newspaper at the presenter’s signal, trying to collect the entire sheet into a fist. Winner: The participant who collects the newspaper into a ball the fastest.

34. New Year's game

For the game we will need:

Long rope; - threads; - scissors 1 pc.; - a blindfold so you can’t see anything; - children, adults who will play; - and of course gifts for everyone (sweets, decorative toys, soap, etc.).

We pull a long rope and fasten it (if there is nowhere to fasten it, then someone will have to hold it). We hang our gifts on a long rope using a thread (or, to make it more New Year’s, we hang them in the Christmas tree rain).

We take a player, blindfold him, give him scissors in his hands, spin him, then direct him towards the hanging gifts so that he can cut off his gift, then the next player, etc.

35. Competition with gifts

The presenter (adult) or Santa Claus invites the participants - children to guess what is in the bag - by touch? How many nuts (candies, etc.) are in the bag? What animal toy is hidden in the bag? How many pages are in the book? What is the name of the doll, etc. and so on.? The person who answers correctly receives this item as a prize.

36. Game

Santa Claus without a nose is drawn on a large sheet of paper and hung on the wall. Make a nose out of plasticine, and the children take turns, blindfolded, trying to attach the nose in place. In a group of kids, the behavior of the driver usually causes wild, joyful laughter.

37. Snowflake

Each child is given a “snowflake”, that is, a small ball of cotton wool. Children loosen their snowflakes and, at your signal, launch them into the air and begin to blow on them from below so that they stay in the air as long as possible. The most dexterous one wins.

38. Decorate the Christmas tree.

They make several Christmas tree decorations from cotton wool (apples, pears, fish) with wire hooks and a fishing rod with the same hook. You need to use a fishing rod to hang all the toys on the Christmas tree, and then use the same fishing rod to remove them. The winner is the one who manages to do this in a set time, for example in two minutes. A fir branch mounted on a stand can serve as a Christmas tree.

39. In a hat

There are different words in the hat; Children take turns taking out, reading and singing lines from songs where these words appear. Songs (and words) should be about winter and the New Year holiday (Christmas tree, round dance, frost, frost, snowflake, icicle, etc.).

40. Associations

Let the guys take turns listing everything that happens in the New Year: Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, snow, gifts, Christmas tree, Christmas tree decorations, cake, needles, on the floor, lanterns, etc. The one who runs out of ideas is eliminated from the game, and the most persistent one wins. The child looks carefully at the tree for a minute (or any other prescribed time), and then turns away and lists in as much detail as possible what is hanging on it. The one who remembers the most wins. Of course, if the baby owner studied his Christmas tree in advance, or even decorated it himself, then his winnings will not be very fair: he probably shouldn’t compete.

41. To the touch

As many toys as possible are put into Santa Claus's bag. Each child puts his hand in there, determines by touch what he caught there, and describes in detail. After everyone has taken a toy from the bag, you can announce that this is it. new Year gifts(this, of course, is not improvisation; you took care of the gifts in advance).

42. Ice cream

The Snow Maiden's favorite treat is ice cream. Children take turns naming the types of ice cream. Whoever thinks for more than 5 seconds loses. A rope is pulled, and various small prizes (toys, candies, etc.) are hung from it on strings. The participant is blindfolded and given scissors. He must go to the rope and cut off the prize he can. Then the next participant gets the scissors. And so on until the prizes run out (prepare more of them).

43. Competition: cut out a snowflake from a napkin (paper) as quickly as possible.

44. Build a snowman

To play, you need two flannelgraphs (a board or frame with a flannel stretched over them measuring 100x70 cm) and parts of a Snowman figure cut out of paper and glued onto the flannel, a carrot nose, a broom, a hat (2 sets). Two people compete. Everyone tries to collect their Snowman as soon as possible.

45. Trap

Having run away from the Snowman (or Santa Claus), the children stop and, clapping their hands, say: “One-two-three! One-two-three! Well, quickly catch us!” When the text ends, everyone runs away. The snowman (Santa Claus) is catching up with the children.

46. Playing with rattles

Children, holding rattles in their hands, run scattered around the hall to cheerful music. When the music ends, the children stop and hide the rattles behind their backs. The fox (or another character participating in the game) is looking for rattles. She asks the children to show her first one hand, then the other. Children behind their backs transfer rattles from one hand to another, as if showing that there is nothing in their hand. The fox is surprised that the rattles have disappeared. The music plays again and the game repeats.

47. Hares and fox

Children perform movements according to the text.

Bunnies scattered across the forest lawn. These are the kind of bunnies, Bunnies are runners. (Children-bunny run easily around the hall.) The bunnies sat in a circle, digging a root with their paw. These are the kind of bunnies, Bunnies are runners.

(The “bunnies” sit down and perform imitation movements according to the text.)

Here is a little fox running - little red-haired sister. Looking for where the bunnies are, Bunnies are running around.

(The fox runs between the children and, when the song ends, catches up with the kids.)

48. Christmas tree

The game involves 2 teams of 2 people. At the end of the hall there are 2 boxes for each team: one contains a disassembled Christmas tree, the other contains toys. The first participant must assemble the Christmas tree, the second must decorate it with toys. The team that completes the task faster wins.

49. Who will collect the most snowballs?

Two children play. Snowballs made of cotton wool are scattered on the floor. The children are blindfolded and given a basket. At the signal, they begin to collect snowballs. The one who collects the most snowballs wins.

50. Valenki

Felt boots are placed in front of the Christmas tree big size. Two children are playing. At a signal, they run around the tree from different sides. The winner is the one who runs around the Christmas tree faster and puts on felt boots.

51. Give a snowman a nose

Place 2 stands in front of the tree and attach them to large sheets with the image of snowmen. Two or more children participate. They are blindfolded. At the signal, children must reach the snowmen and put their nose to it (this could be a carrot). Other children help with words: left, right, lower, higher...

52. Carry it in a bag

A bag is placed in front of the tree (it is divided into 2 parts, one of them has no bottom). Santa Claus calls children who want to ride in a sack. He puts the child in a sack and carries him around the tree. He places the other child in the part of the bag where there is no bottom. Santa Claus walks around the Christmas tree, and the child remains in place. Santa Claus returns and is “surprised.” The game repeats itself.

Several couples participate. Children stand opposite each other at a distance of approximately 4 meters. One child has an empty bucket, the other has a bag with a certain number of “snowballs” (tennis or rubber balls). At a signal, the child throws snowballs, and the partner tries to catch them with a bucket. The first couple to finish the game and collect the most snowballs wins.

54. Guess who I am!

The game is more fun when many guests take part in it at once. The leader is blindfolded, the rest join hands and stand around the “blind” person. The host claps his hands and the guests begin to move in a circle. The presenter claps again - and the circle freezes. Now the presenter must point to a player and try to guess who it is.

If he manages to do this on the first try, then the one who was guessed leads. As a variant of this game, you can introduce a rule according to which the presenter can ask the player to reproduce something, imitate an animal - bark or meow, etc.

55. Melt the ice

Everyone is divided into two teams, each receiving one ice cube (preferably the cubes are the same size). The goal is to melt the ice as quickly as possible. The cube must constantly move from one player to another. Participants can warm it in their hands, rub it, etc. The team that melts the ice faster wins.

56. Running associations

The person sitting on the edge says two random words out loud. For example: safe and orange. The next participant, clockwise, aloud describes the image connecting the second word with the first. For example, "a giant orange rolls out of an open safe" and then calls out his new made-up word, such as "egg."

The third participant connects the second word with the third with some phrase: “There was an egg under the orange peel,” and asks for his word. The next one connects this word with the previous one, etc. So the game goes in a circle. At any moment, the presenter can give the command “Stop” and ask the person on whom the game stopped to repeat the entire chain of words: safe, orange, egg, etc. The child who fails to complete the task is eliminated and the game begins again.

Games and competitions with Father Frost and Snow Maiden in round dances and near the Christmas tree

Round dances

The traditional New Year's round dance can be complicated and made more entertaining. The leader sets the tone for the round dance, changes the pace of movement and direction. After one or two circles, the round dance can be led like a snake, maneuvering between guests and furniture. The steeper the loops of the snake, the merrier. The presenter can come up with ideas as he goes along. various options: include those not participating in the round dance in the chain, sharply slow down, etc.

Decorate the Christmas tree

There are two artificial Christmas trees in the hall. “There are only a few minutes left until the New Year,” says the Snow Maiden, “and these trees are not decorated yet.” Perhaps there will be two clever people in the hall who will quickly do this. Toys made of cardboard, papier-mâché and other unbreakable ones are laid out on tables 5-6 steps from the tree. But completing the Snow Maiden’s task is not so easy.

The Snow Maiden reports what happened short circuit, and you will have to decorate the Christmas tree in the dark (blindfolded). Perhaps someone will hang their toys on their neighbor's Christmas tree, but the one whose Christmas tree turns out to be the most decorated will win.

Toy in a circle

Santa Claus invites the participants to stand facing each other. Music begins to play, and a toy, for example a doll with the image of the Snow Maiden, passes from hand to hand and moves in a circle. The music stops, the transfer of the toy stops. The one who has the doll left is out of the game. The game continues until one person remains. If there are a lot of players, you can throw several dolls in a circle.

Compliments to the Snow Maiden

Santa Claus invites those who want to play into the circle young man, who should pay compliments to the Snow Maiden, taking out matches from an apple completely studded with matches. Santa Claus gives it to the player before the start of the competition.

Snowballs

You need to throw 6 “snowballs” - white tennis balls - into a hanging (or standing on the floor) basket from a distance of 6-7 steps. The one who copes with this task most accurately will win.

Fluffy snowflakes

The Snow Maiden invites several guests to take light cotton snowflakes from the tray. Each player throws up his own snowflake and, blowing on it, tries to keep it in the air as long as possible. The one who dropped his fluff can go up to his friend and help him complete the Snow Maiden’s task.

Magic words

The game is led by the Snow Maiden, she invites two teams of 10 people each, hands them a set of large letters that make up the word “Snow Maiden”. Each participant receives one letter. The task is as follows: in the story read by the Snow Maiden, there will be words made up of these letters. As soon as such a word is pronounced, the owners of the letters that make it up must step forward and, rearranging themselves, form this word. The team that is ahead of its opponents gets a point.

Sample story

A fast river rose. Snow fell on the fields. The mountain behind the village turned white. And the bark on the birch trees sparkled with frost. Somewhere the runners of a sleigh are creaking. Where are they headed?

Centipede racing

In a fairly spacious room you can hold centipede races. The players are divided into two teams and line up behind each other’s heads, holding the belts of those in front with their hands. A chair is placed at the opposite wall, which the chain of players must go around and then return back. If the chain is broken, the leader can count the team a loss. The task can be complicated and made funnier if the teams move half-crouched, if both teams complete the task at the same time.

A variation of this game is "Snake". The “head” - the first in the column - must catch the “tail”, which eludes it. Having caught it, the “head” moves to the end of the column, and the game is repeated again. The “broken” links of the chain are considered losers and leave the game.

Two Frosts

A group of guys is at one end of the hall (room) beyond the conventional line. The drivers - Frosts - are in the middle of the hall. They address the guys with the words:

We are two young brothers, (Together): Two daring frosts. - I am Frost the red nose. - I am Frost the blue nose. Which of you will decide to set out on the little path?

Everyone answers:

We are not afraid of threats, and we are not afraid of frost! The players run to the other side of the hall beyond the home line. Both Frosts catch and “freeze” those running across. They immediately stop at the place where they were “frozen.” Then the Frosts again turn to the players, and they, having answered, run across the hall, helping out the “frozen”: they touch them with their hand, and they join the others.

Auction Santa Claus says:

We have a wonderful Christmas tree in our hall. And what toys she has on her! What kind of Christmas tree decorations do you know? The person with the last answer will win this amazing prize. The players take turns calling out the words. During pauses, the presenter begins to count slowly: “Clapper - one, clapper - two...” The auction continues.

Prank game

Santa Claus announces to the audience that none of those present will be able to repeat after him the three short phrases that he will say. Of course, no one will agree with him. Then Santa Claus, as if looking for words, says a short phrase. For example: “Today is a wonderful evening.” Everyone confidently repeats this phrase. Santa Claus, embarrassed, looks for and hesitantly says the second phrase. It is also easy for everyone to repeat. Then he quickly and joyfully says: “Well, you were wrong!” The crowd protests. And Santa Claus explains that his third phrase, which had to be repeated, was: “Well, you were wrong!”

Two are better than one

Some three toys are placed on the floor: a ball, a cube, and a skittle. Two players come out and start dancing around them (the game can be played to music). As soon as the music stops or Santa Claus gives the command “Stop!”, each player must try to grab two toys. Whoever gets one loses. The game can be complicated: increase the number of participants and, accordingly, the number of toys or objects. The one who grabs the most toys wins.

Under a lucky star

The winner of this game will be the one who first finds the star hanging from the ceiling with the number announced by the presenter. Stars with a number written large on both sides are pre-hung on threads from the ceiling of the room (or hall) where the dancing will take place. As the dance progresses, the music stops for a minute, and Santa Claus proclaims: “Lucky star 15!” The dancers try to quickly find the star with this number. The winner is awarded a prize.

Watch your back

Father Frost or the Snow Maiden gives various commands to those standing in the circle, and they must be followed only if the word “please” is added to the command, for example, “Please, hands up,” “ Right hand lower it!”, “Please, let’s clap our hands,” etc. The game is played fun, at a fast pace. Those who make a mistake leave the game. The person who remains is awarded the title of “Most Attentive Guest” and is awarded a prize.

Letter to Santa Claus

Children are asked to name 13 adjectives: "fat", "red", "hot", "hungry", "lethargic", "dirty"...

When all the adjectives are written down, the presenter takes out the text of the letter and inserts into it the missing adjectives from the list. Telegram text:

"... Grandfather Frost! All... the children are looking forward to your... arrival. New Year is the most... holiday of the year. We will sing for you... songs, dance... dances! Finally- then... New Year will come! I don't want to talk about... studying. We promise that we will only receive... grades. So, quickly open your... bag and give us... gifts. Sincerely to you... boys and... girls!"

Santa Claus is coming to us

In this game you are asked to first memorize the text:

Santa Claus is coming, coming to us, Santa Claus is coming to us. And we know that Santa Claus brings us gifts.

After the text has been repeated, it is proposed to replace words with movements and gestures. The first words that are replaced are the word "we". Instead of these words, everyone points to themselves. With each new performance, there are fewer words and more gestures. Instead of the words “Santa Claus,” everyone points to the door, the word “is coming” is replaced by walking in place, the word “we know” is replaced by touching the forehead with the index finger, the word “gifts” is replaced by a gesture depicting a large bag. At the last performance, all words disappear, except for prepositions and the verb “will bring”.

It's me. This is me, these are all my friends...

The presenter, having learned the questions in advance, asks them to the children, who answer with the same phrase. There are many more questions you can come up with. The main thing is to have fun.

– Who walks to school every day in a cheerful band? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. - Which of you, tell me out loud, catches flies in class? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Who is not afraid of frost and flies on skates like a bird? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Which of you, when you grow up, will become an astronaut? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Which of you doesn’t walk gloomily, loves sports and physical education? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. - Which of you, so good, wore galoshes to sunbathe? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Who completes their homework on time? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – How many of you keep your books, pens and notebooks in order? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Which of you kids walks around dirty from ear to ear? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Which of you walks on the pavement with your head upside down? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Which of you, I want to know, has an A+ in diligence? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends. – Which of you comes to class an hour late? - This is me, this is me, these are all my friends.

What's on the Christmas tree?

The presenter learns the poems below in advance. You can come up with many more new ones yourself. The purpose of the game is explained to the children: when they hear the name of the Christmas tree decoration, they must raise their hand up and say: “Yes!”, and when they name something that does not happen on the Christmas tree, they must restrain themselves and remain silent. The presenter does not pronounce the text very quickly, but also without giving the children time to think too much. Very soon everyone becomes funny because mistakes inevitably occur.

What changed?

This game requires good visual memory. Participants are given a task one by one: for a minute, look at the toys hanging on one or two branches of the Christmas tree and remember them. Then you need to leave the room - at this time several toys (three or four) will be outweighed: some will be removed, others will be added. Upon entering the room, you need to look at your branches and say what has changed. Depending on age, you can make the tasks more difficult or easier.

Game for the New Year's round dance (Condition: the leader reads poetry, and the participants in the game say “and I” after those quatrains, where appropriate).

I love walking in the snow and I love playing in the snow. I love skiing and I also love skating. I love to sing, play and dance in winter and summer. I also like to chew sweets straight with a candy wrapper. I love to fly on a sled so that the wind whistles... Today I put on a warm fur coat inside out. I guessed riddles and received gifts, ate a lot of sweet apples, and never got bored for a minute! Both girls and boys quickly run to the round dance, And the fluffy bunnies Sleep under the Christmas tree in the snow. So our feet danced, Even the floor began to creak, And in the forest, in its den, a bear fell asleep until spring. Our Christmas tree is covered in toys. Oh, what beauty! The firecracker slammed loudly, but inside it was empty. I will never forget this New Year's holiday. I was writing all day today - It turned out to be nonsense!

New Year's round dance (The leader or Father Frost and the Snow Maiden pronounce the chant, and the round dance participants repeat the chorus).

It's like we're in a wonderful fairy tale, or maybe in a dream. Who is it there in the scary mask Approaching me? Chorus: I don’t recognize you, But don’t stand still! I dance and sing, Let's dance together! Hares, squirrels, fairies, wolves... These are mummers. We dance around the green tree together. Chorus: Our tree is so beautiful, All in toys and lights. The lights sparkle playfully, reflected in the eyes. Chorus: Santa Claus dances with us and the Snow Maiden sings. This is a meeting with miracles, This is a holiday, New Year!
