Dark forest. scary forest

Good day to all. I want to tell you a story that happened to me in 1991. It was in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region. I was 15 years old and I was resting there in a pioneer camp (named after Volodya Dubinin) near the village of Sobolevo.

In one of the usual summer nights, I am my friend Anton and two girls quietly dumped from the detachment and went to the nearest forest, knowing that our familiar guys came to visit us as savages and stopped in tents in the forest, about a hundred meters from the fence. We came to them, a fire, wine, baked potatoes, a guitar, in short, we had a good time. It's three o'clock in the morning, it's beginning to get light, it's time to return to the detachment. The four of us, as we came, we went back. We walked straight through the forest, just in case, not using the forest road, which was 10-15 meters away, so as not to run into the counselors. Moving away from the fire 40 meters, I noticed some movement on the road.

Everyone stopped on command and alerted. At first we thought that the guys (savages) decided to scare us. Alcohol in the blood prompted to scare them back. We moved towards the road and, approaching about five meters, again saw movement, but immediately realized that these were not savages, this was some kind of strange creature, and believe me, when I say strange, I am not exaggerating! In front of us was something or someone four meters tall, obviously woolen. In the darkness, neither face nor muzzle was visible, but I immediately felt uneasy. I want to tell you that I am not a timid ten, and since childhood I have been with my father through the forests on lakes and in the taiga since I was 8 years old. Everyone knew that I was on you with the forest! And so I see this something and the brain does not give a classification, what do I see?

It feels like an elk standing up on its hind legs. But the fear appeared just the same animal! After exchanging glances and without agreeing on anything, we moved towards the pioneer camp. It moved parallel to us. There was a noise in my ears from breaking branches, but it was we who broke the branches, the creature moved silently. We ran and it ran, we stopped and it too. And then, between the fence of the camp and the forest, there was a power line and no trees grew under it, such a wasteland, 30 meters wide. So, I ran across this wasteland, as I don’t remember, and the fence (such as construction sites are fenced, concrete, 2.2 - 2.3 meters high) I flew over, barely touching my hands. In my usual state, I approached the fence, jumped up and made, like, a two-leg exit, and then threw one leg, and then the other. This time I jumped over it, as if it was 1.5 m high. Realizing that the girls would definitely not be able to, I turned around and the girls and Anton landed on me from the fence. They simultaneously flew over the fence. When we went into the forest, Anton and I helped them climb over, they themselves could not do it. An incomprehensible creature ran after us to the power line and did not go to the camp. We instantly calmed down and went to the detachment and went to bed as if nothing had happened.

Moreover, there were no discussions in the morning, and we were in this forest a hundred times and were not afraid of anything. In general, with age, I attributed everything to alcohol, but just a month ago, my story was told in a simpler way. younger brother Born in 1980, who rested there that summer, but in a younger detachment. According to him, he saw the same creature, only in the evening and right on the forest road.

One thing is clear, whether it would have been necessary for it to catch up with us or not ... we ran like the wind. Remembering this story, I can’t calm down, I found out that this camp is abandoned, but the buildings and the fence are standing, it was renamed to " Pinery". In the coming days I plan to go there, with my team for reconnaissance and, if possible, set up video traps. And you know, now I'm scared to go there for some reason? ..

Now I'm 37 and for some reason I want to see it again, I don't know why.

Two years ago I got lost in the forest. Large animals have never been found there, and the most unusual thing that a gardener-mushroom picker can see there is squirrels and hedgehogs. But you know, I have never experienced anything more terrible in my life. At night in the forest, many instincts awaken in a human being; the brain, which helped to look for mushrooms and berries during the day, shouts to you in panic: “Run! Save yourself!" Maybe now, sitting at home in warmth and comfort, you may think: “Yes, what is there to be afraid of, you just need to cast aside your fears and calm down.” I thought so too, I also tried to drive fears out of my head, and, unfortunately, I succeeded.

When it began to get dark, I gave up trying to find a path, but I did not fall into despair - I decided that the next day I would climb the highest pine and maybe I could pick up a telephone signal from there. I had a lighter and some sandwiches with me. I easily made a fire in a small clearing and even smiled a little, rejoicing at the new adventure.

When it got completely dark, it turned out that the firewood, most likely, would not be enough for the whole night. I decided to collect more branches and began to look for them within the circle of light. Having typed one armful, I decided to collect more (I like to do everything thoroughly, for sure). Having thrown the first batch to the fire, I moved a little further and was surprised that I did not notice a very large and thick branch. It turned out to be not so easy to lift it - the branch, apparently, was crushed by a trunk or a stone from the other end. I pulled with all my strength, and the branch seemed to start to give in a little, but I could not pull it out. Deciding to be a little smart, I took a lighter out of my pocket and lit up the darkness. For a fraction of a second, I looked at the large gray stump against which the branch rested, but it was not a stump - it was a creature that would haunt my nightmares for many years to come. He had two powerful hands with which it held a branch, a crooked hairy back, very short legs and eyes that looked at me. I wanted to scream, but I could only stand and watch with my mouth open. All this lasted about three seconds, then the creature threw a branch, instantly jumping back into the darkness. I also did not understand how I ended up by the fire, roaming around the dark outlines of the night forest with stunned eyes.

For a moment everything was quiet and calm. Panic crept into my head: “It deliberately threw a branch! It expected me to go pull it out in the dark! It's after me!" My mind turned into that of a rabbit being chased by a wolf when I realized that the crickets, which had been chirping tirelessly in the darkness, began to die down one by one. Outside the circle of light, the sounds of breathing and sniffing were distinctly heard. To the right, to the left, behind... I turned to face the loudest source of sounds, and it immediately stopped - only I could hear something heavy running across in the dark, trying to get behind me. The sniffing subsided, and almost immediately I heard the rustle of leaves. It was another large branch that was being pushed into the circle of light, leaving the end in darkness...

By the time morning came, I had already burned all the wood, all the grass nearby, and my jacket. Seeing nothing alive between the trees, I rushed to run with all my might, not knowing where. I stumbled, scraped my face on the branches of trees, but ran forward. I don’t know by what miracle I then ran out onto the highway, which was nine kilometers from the place where I entered the forest. But I learned one thing: trust your animal instincts, no matter how absurd they may seem, for ancient instincts warn you of a danger that is older and more terrible than all the threats known to urban man.

Dasha lived in the village. When she was little, her mother died. The father was asleep. Grandmother took Daria to her village, but when the girl turned 15, her grandmother had a heart attack. Dasha did not go back to the city, and there was no one to visit. The village was small, everyone knew each other. And near the dense forest. There were rumors that in the river of that girl they drowned themselves. From unrequited love, or from something else. No one went there - it was not necessary. You never know what famously wanders. Of course, the people were superstitious. They believed in mermen, brownies and other heresy. Dasha was not one of those, but she rarely went to the forest anyway. Only, the code was needed in this. Unless sometimes, to chop mushrooms and firewood. There is no man, who will do it? Well, I went to that river, I was not afraid. What are they afraid of? Rumors are rumors, but walking unwashed is also not the case.
Somewhere, when she turned 17, a boy from the city appeared. Call Vitka. No one could understand what brought him to such a wilderness. Looks rich, in a nice car. There was no place for him to live in the village, he asked to go to Daria's house. Well, she's a simple girl, she let me in. I didn't even think about the consequences. And next door to her, in another house, lived Marya Petrovna. Kind woman, Thoughtful. Helped Dasha, replaced her grandmother. She didn’t like this guy right away, said Dasha, but she didn’t want to hear.
They became friends with Vitya, fell in love. But only he did not want to talk about himself, he said that he had lost his memory. And what he remembers, he did not want to remember again. "I am the life a new start I don't want the past to torment me." And she didn't ask.
After about a month, he dragged her into the forest. “Come on, have a rest, we’ll go to the river. Nature is sacred." She could not refuse, went with him. As they went deeper, she stopped recognizing the forest. And he goes, does not stop, as if he knows where to go. And when she asked to go back, he only walked forward more confidently. It smelled of damp, rotten. “A swamp,” Dasha was horrified. "Did you decide to kill me?" Started to think. What to do? Part of this forest was unknown to her, she had never been here. And it was not necessary, the river is not so far away, and it was generally possible to chop firewood without going into the forest. If he tries to run away, he will chase. Then it will surely end.
"Vitya, where are we going?" she asked softly, trying not to show her fear.
“I want to show you one place, it’s already very close,” the guy said in a strange way.
- Vitenka, stop, wait here. I need it, I'll be right there.
Dasha turned aside and went behind the bushes. Vitya did not budge and only looked after her, and then turned around, sat on a stump and looked into the distance. Darya ran behind the bushes and quietly walked on. Slowly, trying not to make too much noise, she moved away from him. “What will happen to me now? Oh, woe to my head." She stopped near a birch, leaned on it and took a few deep breaths. They went far from the village, quite far into the forest. The day was overcast, the sun was not visible. The firs became more, as they were removed deeper. That's bad.
Then something crunched behind Dasha's back.
— How long are you? Vitya's voice came from behind.
"It's bad," Daria thought.
I'm coming. - She turned, Vitya was standing very close. She walked ahead of him to where they had stopped. Then the girl abruptly rushed to the side, not understanding the road. The summer dress made it very difficult to run, sandals did not protect from branches. He was chasing her. Then she stopped abruptly - a ravine gaped right in front of her. someone's strong hand grabbed her and then she felt severe pain in the back of her head and lost consciousness.
She woke up tied to some spruce. Nearby, croaking, the clicking of a fire and the gnashing of iron could be heard. It was like someone was sharpening a knife. She looked around fearfully, a fire was burning a little further away, a man was sitting on a fallen trunk and sharpening a knife. It was Vitya. She did not recognize him at once, her hair became tousled, her hands became furry, with long claws. The clothes were torn in some places, the fur was sticking out of it. Sounds, grumbling mixed with a growl, came from "Viti". The creature turned around and Daria was speechless. In front of her was a man with a hairy face, huge fangs and wolflike amber eyes. The nose, also similar to a wolf's, drew in smells. Dasha lost consciousness.
The girl woke up when it approached her. The creature ran its claw along the girl's cheek, then licked the place and sharply stuck the knife into the tree next to Daria's head. He clung to her with his terrible body, which began to look more like a wolf. The creature whispered something in her ear, burning with fetid breath. The girl tried to move away from him, but the ropes tightly fettered her movements. Then he sank lower, licked her shoulder and pulled the dress with force with his claws. It tore in the abdomen. He ran his clawed paw over Daria's skin and left somewhere. He returned with two pieces of cloth. One he put it in his mouth, leaving only a little outside, and the other he gagged. Apparently, so that she would not scream, and then went somewhere.
Ten minutes later, the creature returned. He began to gradually tear the girl's dress. Soon only rags hung on it. It began to lick the girl's belly with its long, sticky tongue. Then he took a knife and slowly, obviously enjoying himself, began to cut through her skin on her shoulder. Tears flowed from the girl's eyes, her hand burned. Then the creature scratched her cheek with a claw and sharply ran a knife across her stomach. Blood flowed. A lot of blood. Then he began to cut her legs, drawing some patterns on her body. In the end, he took some kind of iron object that looked like a brand, heated it up and leaned it against Dasha's left shoulder. If not for the gag, her screams would be heard by the whole village. Daria lost consciousness.
When she woke up, the creature was building something. He untied her. Dasha no longer had the strength to resist, as she was very exhausted. She obediently fell on the table, he turned her over on her back and tied her hands and feet to the place of her bed. He sprinkled it with some stinking rubbish and began to whisper some kind of spell. From the sides there was a howl and a growl. Only now Daria noticed that the moon was shining brightly in the sky. The creature began to squirm, fell to the ground and its bones began to break. Dasha was excruciatingly scared, but she could not do anything. From all sides, creatures similar to werewolves began to approach her - wolves on two legs that took over part of the physique of a person.
The creature has reincarnated. Drooling dripped from his mouth. He leaned down on the victim and was about to deliver a deadly bite, when a shot was heard. The werewolf dropped dead to the ground, his sides not heaving. He was dead. Daria heard hurried steps, a rustle and a familiar voice. Her vision blurred, and then she passed out.
She woke up on a bed in a house. Nearby sat a man with a gun. Looks like it was a forester.
— How are you, daughter?
- Where I am? Dasha squeezed out.
- Hush hush. Everything is fine.
There was an angry bark. Something hit the door hard. The old man crossed himself, straightened his hat, got up and began to move the fragile likeness of the armchair to the door.
“Wh… What is this?” Daria asked, already coming to her senses.
The old man hesitated. He obviously did not really want to tell the girl about the werewolves.
“These creatures usually only appear on full moons. Werewolves. They perform their sinister rituals in the forest. Usually they are visitors, beautiful. They lure unsuspecting virgins here, and then write to them.
Dasha decided that the old man was crazy, but there was no other logical explanation for this. The girl began to slowly come to her senses, after a while he was able to sit down. Then something hit the door with force and the fragile protection creaked. The second blow is a hole in the door. Also, the door is broken. With a roar, exposing fangs, the creature burst into the house. The forester wasted no time, he shot the werewolf in the chest and he fell dead. Another ran towards the house, but the forester killed him before he reached his destination. So he killed 3 more pieces, grabbed the cartridges.
Can you go, daughter?
“Yes,” Dasha nodded.
“Then get moving.
Together they ran out of hiding and rushed off in the dark somewhere. Then the old man stopped abruptly and fired somewhere. The werewolf squealed, and then fell silent. Grandfather and Dasha ran quickly, lights were already visible ahead. On the way, he killed 10 werewolves, no less. The ammo was already running out.
“Over there,” the old man pointed his finger somewhere in the distance. — See? Run there. This is a village. Run to the nearest house, knock with all your might, beg for help. Understood? Run!
— And how are you?
- Run, I said!
Daria rushed to the light. Behind her, she heard growls and shots, but did not dare to turn around. As soon as she reached the first house, she banged on the door.
- But what is it, who has been brought into such darkness ... Ah, Dashenka! What's wrong with you, dear? - Baba Galya was standing on the threshold. She quickly led the girl into the house, closed the door with three locks. Then she quickly walked over to the window and looked out. Another shot rang out.
- Oh, you, fathers! She curtained the curtains. - What happened? Tell me, let's go, but for now I'll go for the first-aid kit.
Galina brought medicines and began to treat Daria's wounds, and she told her how it was. Baba Galya kept groaning, yes ahala. At the end of the story, Galina once again cautiously looked out the window, and then she curtained and walked away.
“Oh, it’s bad… Bad…”
In the morning the people went to look for the forester, but they found only a mutilated body. Apparently the werewolves still overtook him. As for Dasha, the next day she immediately left the village, far away. As long as you don't come back.

A friend once told me a story. She met a guy. It was the end of February. He invited her to visit his friend outside the city, in his house. Not very far from the city, drive through a wasteland, then through the forest, by car for about 15 minutes. We arrived. There is already a noisy company gathered. During the evening, she and her friend began to sort things out. In short, it got to the point that she told him - take me to the city. Naturally, he refused, saying, sit down, calm down. And she is a hot-tempered, stubborn girl, besides, she freaked out and decided to walk. He laughed at her that she would only reach the first turn and back. What a moron, even out of principle, in the evening, in winter, tramples through a dark forest. My girlfriend just turned out to be such a jerk. Further from her words:

“I decided so with a quick step through the forest, and there is a wasteland, and almost immediately a passing road. Moreover, private houses around. In short, she showed off in full. Packed up and left. No one dissuaded, a friend said that I'm on Fresh air 5 minutes, I'll be right there. I got out and walked very bravely along the road, proud of myself. On either side of me there was not a very dense forest, and the lights of houses shone through the trees. I go to myself, no fear, on the contrary, some kind of fervently adrenaline state. I hear only the crunch of snow from my steps. As suddenly I see out of the corner of my vision, something flashed behind the trees. I immediately thought it was a dog. I turned around. Nobody here. And then suddenly I realized the whole situation. I'm alone. In the forest. Dark. I got scared. I wanted to turn back, stopped and heard hurried steps behind me, as if someone was catching up, and then also froze, waiting for what I would do. God himself took me away so as not to turn around. I was afraid to look back. Such horror came over me. And rushed forward. It's behind me. I run and feel that it does not lag behind. At some point, I switched to a quick step and I heard a crunch from behind from his steps. Very close. I walk, my legs began to give way, I began to cry, I began to pray arbitrarily, although I don’t know prayers. And then an unexpected thought came into my head - to put a cross in my mouth. At that moment I didn't even think about such, it seemed, stupidity. All this time I did not stop, it seemed that while I was walking, it was more or less safe. She put the cross in her mouth, and immediately somehow pulled herself together a little. She began to hum something so as not to hear this terrible crunch of unknown steps. After some time, I, weeping, with a cross in my teeth, went out onto the road. I stopped the car and drove home. I was in a state of shock for another 2 days. I didn’t say anything to anyone. After all, she did such a stupid thing. And my friend, by the way, went after me, and said, I seemed to have dissolved. There were no cell phones yet. He called me home from the city. My brother said that I was sleeping. I didn't see him again. There was no desire."

I, having listened, immediately told her that in all fairy tales it is said that no matter what happens, go ahead and in no case turn around. And about the cross, I then accidentally read it, this is also one of strong defenses, put it in your mouth. Probably, she has a strong guardian angel, he told her in time how to save herself. But it was a lesson for her for the rest of her life.

Once I was walking with my dog in the woods. Shania is a red-haired, medium-sized mongrel. We have already finished our weekend exercise. Well, then an idea came to mind - why not go a little more? There is a ski base in the forest, in fact, if there is a base, there are also slopes. And so we go through the forest. Sunset was beginning, a warm breeze was blowing. We were about to make a turn and return to the base, but suddenly I noticed a strange shadow around the bend. She stood motionless, I, deciding that this was my friend Anya, began to approach. But Shania grabbed the pant leg and jerked me sharply, so much so that, having lost my balance, I fell. Cursing and scolding her for what the light stands, I got up. And in her eyes I saw a horror that I had never seen before. It was like an electric current went through my body. A sharp gust of wind made me get up and rush to the base as fast as I could, Shani was smart enough to run alongside. According to my calculations, we were already approaching the base, but suddenly, without slowing down, I crashed into a snowdrift. Shanya jumped on my back in a panic. Shaking it off me, I began to peer into the blizzard in bewilderment. I know the forest like the back of my hand. We ran right. There could be no turns, we could not go astray. Shania frightened pressed against my legs, I attached the leash to the collar, under no circumstances will I leave her, I do not ask myself if something happens to her. New impulse the wind made me shudder. I tried to suppress my panic. Just a blizzard. But then my self-hypnosis was interrupted by a groan. It couldn't even be called a groan. Imagine a frightened cry, a heavy groan and a cry for help. It all included this sound. Without agreeing with Shania, we rushed into a snowstorm.

We ran for an incredibly long time. But the panic and this terrifying scream made us run forward. The blizzard hurt my eyes. But suddenly she, as if by a wave magic wand stopped. We stopped and I looked around fearfully.

We stood in the center of the clearing, there was a forest along the edges. There was in the sky full moon, night has come. It was not noticeable in the blizzard, I was horrified to imagine how worried my parents were. The stomach clenched into a lump. Oh... how I wanted to eat. The horror was so overwhelming that the hunger was imperceptible. You have to spend the night in the forest. In desperation, I fell to my knees, Shan licked my face. And then I remembered my knife, which dangled from my belt all the time. The mood got better. We came to the edge of the forest, I found a small ravine. The wind could not penetrate there, so I decided to settle down there for the night. I picked up brushwood and lit a fire. Shania fell asleep on my lap. I was about to fall asleep, but then I heard voices.

Maybe you have heard the legend about the river Kokytos, one of the five rivers of Tartarus, the river of pain and sorrow. I heard the same voices. They were terrible, numerous groans and plaintive, heartbreaking cries. They wanted to sob, to die, to believe that life is hopeless. Shania jumped up and pulled the leash so that it almost slipped out of her hand. Shan was torn whining and not listening to commands. Then she tossed her head and howled long, in tune with the voices. I couldn’t stand this anymore, grabbing her head, I pressed her to me, covering her ears, then I pressed my head to my knees and tried not to listen to these voices. I remembered the most best moments of my life, a family that loves me. Gradually the voices became quieter and I fell asleep.

When I opened my eyes, it was morning. Shan was lying next to me. Seeing that I was awake, she barked forcefully and demandingly. She asked for food. I had nothing to give her, my stomach was also aching with hunger. Gathering our strength, we began to get out of the ravine. I prayed to God that we could return home. That I would not tell anyone about this and that no one would hear a single complaint from me again. Having got out of the ravine, I did not see any clearing, only a forest covered with snow. No hint of a ski run. Shan made a dash to the right. Trusting her, I crawled through the snow after her. I crawled for a short time. Gradually the forest became thinner. Five minutes later we were already on the ski run. Shanya, feeling the hard snow under her paws, added a step. We made it out of the woods with no problem.

At home, I lied that we were just lost. After this incident, I became different. I started to love life. I didn't complain about anything anymore. Over time, I began to think. What if it was some kind of lesson? But I still warned my friend Anya not to walk with her Dalmatian Gucci through the forest. As expected, she didn't listen to me.

A month after that incident, Anya's mother called me. Anya with the dog did not return from a walk in the forest.
