Sea temperature in Mallorca in June. We are preparing for a holiday in Mallorca in June. Best coastal areas

Tour operator. We went from "Time". I can’t say much bad, but I can’t say anything good either. The travel tickets were not given at the airport an hour before departure, but at the office the day before. Among the bad things, let’s say, the unreliability of the information provided on the excursions (the host country, it turned out, did not have enough Russian-speaking guides, so half of the excursions were offered with an international guide) and the unreliability of the information about the hotel (I’ll describe it a little further). In addition, some people (including us) had the wrong flight number on their air tickets, which is why they didn’t want to put us on the plane at all, even though we were on the passenger list. While they were looking for the representative of “Time”, while he was figuring it out... In general, the nerve cells are not being restored. Last year we went from Neva, the organization was better.

Round trip flight. A charter is just that, a charter, as has already been said here. The flight is 4.5 hours, without a transfer, straight to Palma. Company KavMinVodyAvia. The planes are fine, pretty new. Tu-154 there (delay of about half an hour). Back Tu-204. But how these horsemen fly! Return flight 16.50. The guide says that the flight is delayed until at least 18.30 (while the board shows departure at 16.50, boarding is not announced, and the clock already says 17.00!). Well, we think, let's go to a cafe and sit for a long time... We sat down and had a snack. Suddenly the information on the board changes dramatically. Our flight - "Boarding ends" - departure at 17.30. It was as if they weren’t waiting for this plane, as if it had jumped from the mountains (I remembered the movie Sportloto 82, how the horseman carried everyone on a motorcycle). They threw all the food, ran, and basically made it. And the guys-pilots drove back great. We arrived somewhere around 4.10.

The host. The company is Barcelo Viages (I may have the letters wrong). The guide Nonna seems to be from Tomsk, but has been living there for a long time. There are no complaints against her or the company. On the contrary, all my gratitude to her. It’s not her fault that there aren’t enough Russian guides there. And so, solve the problems with the license plate, please, with the car, please. Maybe only in her stories she often jumped from one thought to another, but this is more from emotions and effort, it seems to me. In this sense, last year in Dorada the host party was less liked, there was less effort to help people.

Hotel Flamboyan. In our general opinion, the only reason Why they gave it 4 stars is the first line of the beach, i.e. exit from the hotel directly to the beach without crossing any roads. That's all! Nothing more. We have cleaning every day, but others of ours said that sometimes they weren’t cleaned. Adding soap-shampoo, upon separate request at the reception or from the maid. The air conditioning is not centralized, as in Estival, but window-based (it hums, it’s annoying, and in other rooms it doesn’t even cool). Bed sheets changed probably 2 times throughout the entire time. It’s better to keep silent about the buffet altogether, especially in comparison with Estival. I just didn’t want to go there for breakfast after 4-5 days, and they didn’t spoil me for dinner either. Those. 3 star hotel is a stretch. We were only pleased with our own parking lot (we rented a car) and a fairly large room with a large veranda (we lived in a family room on the 1st floor, and the hotel is made in the form of steps, so the higher you go, the smaller the room, although the sea view is better ). Maybe during the season, which begins on June 15, the hotel begins to behave differently... I don’t know. The hotel, by the way, is more family-friendly and for older people than for young people - this was evident from the population living there.

Beach and town of Magaluf. The water, of course, is clean, but sometimes some garbage washes up on the shore. The shore is fine sand, and quite littered. We only realized where the garbage came from when my child and I started excavating the beach (we built fortresses with him). It turns out that under a layer of sand (about 20 cm), there is a layer of algae, 15 centimeters thick. I don’t know when they got there. But these algae mix with the sand, dry out, and it is almost impossible to clean the beach from them. And when it blows strong wind, then generally a song. In terms of cleanliness of the beach and sea, Estival-La Pineda is ahead of me. There are many water activities on the beach: bicycles, boats, bananas, parachute, boat trips, etc. etc., just pay. As usual, there is a walking path along the beach and restaurants, cafes...

The town itself is standard touristic. But in terms of nightlife it surpasses Salou and even more so Pineda. I have never seen so many drunken young people walking, sitting, having fun. The pull-out is in full swing. Barkers stand at every cafe, bar, and discotheque and quite insistently offer to visit their establishments (by the way, I didn’t really like this). The fun goes on until 5-6 am. If the hotel windows face the street, then it seems to me impossible to sleep even with a closed balcony. Therefore, we were doubly pleased with the windows overlooking the sea. If you go outside at 6 am, you will see all the consequences of the previous night - broken bottles, crushed hamburgers and everything else (many people also don’t have time to run to the toilets). In the morning it’s all put away and washed, and so on until the next night. I wonder what's going on there during the high season. There are few Russian tourists, no one knows Russian (unlike Dorada). There are a lot of Englishmen (we didn’t like them there, they love to misbehave), there are Germans, Spaniards, of course. But the local police maintain order. In our presence, in the morning, two police officers hit the necks of four guys who, as a joke, wanted to open the protective cover of the bus (which covers the back of the engine). At our hotel we met a group of elderly people from Israel, they were very surprised that we were from Moscow, and that we were very similar to them:) By the way, the oldest grandmother was 82 years old and she swam in the pool. Excursions and cultural program. My opinion is that man cannot create such beauty as nature creates.

There are historical places in Mallorca. And since on the island different time Since Arabs, Romans, and Spaniards ruled the island, the culture of the island is quite diverse. But nature is something. Therefore, I recommend to everyone a sightseeing tour of the island (by bus to Palma, then by a small antique-style train through the mountains, then by a pleasure boat on the sea, then by bus through the mountains, the LLuc monastery - an eventful excursion, for the whole day, everyone was happy).

Another excursion is the Drak caves (stalactites, stalagmites, a large underground lake and a small concert of classical music - musicians float on a boat on the lake, acoustics, lighting - you need to see and hear it!). And we had one more excursion - this is the Son Amar restaurant. They let a lot of people into a huge hall, like an amphitheater, they seat you at tables, you sit, eat, watch a concert (dancing, music...). In general, it’s like at a knight’s tournament, only instead of knights there is a stage, dancers, and laser special effects are very beautiful. It’s worth a visit once, but it ends a little late, at one o’clock in the morning, and it’s still a long way to get to the hotel.

And, of course, we really enjoyed traveling in a rented car (by the way, the rental cost is less than on mainland Spain and they don’t take a deposit for the car). For example, a small 4-seater Renault Clio car is offered for 12,000 pesetas for 3 days, which is approximately 20 USD. per day. Just driving along the mountain range that runs along the western coast of the island from south to north, to the northernmost point of the island - Cape Formentor, you will get an unforgettable experience. And again, by car you can go where the bus simply cannot go. Getting lost, with their organization of movement, is also quite difficult. Even if you go to the wrong place, you can always return quickly - the island is small (approximately 100 by 100 km). If you wish, you can go around the perimeter of the island in one day, but this is only by setting a goal - not to stop at all, and this is difficult. Mountain roads are difficult and you won't be able to accelerate quickly. We drove the entire mountain range on the west coast to Formentor in 5-6 hours (with stops). For comparison, our return journey along the highway (through the center of the island) took an hour and a half.

Of course, there are many other entertainments on the island: two large water parks (one in Magaluf), Marineland (dolphinarium, parrot show), all sorts of different golf courses, yacht clubs, etc. and so on. and so on. I won’t even talk about this, because who needs what?

Summary. To Mallorca, at least once, but you need to go. I wouldn’t go to the Costa Dorada a second time, but I would go to Mallorca again.
