Where is the water warmest in Mallorca in June. Majorca in early June Sunny, cloudy and overcast days

Tour operator. We went from the "Time". I can't really say bad things, but I can't say good things either. All the same, ticket tickets were given not at the airport an hour before departure, but a day in the office. Of the bad, I’ll note, let’s say, the unreliability of the information given on excursions (it turned out that the host side does not have enough Russian-speaking guides, so half of the excursions were offered with an international guide) and the unreliability of information on the hotel (I will describe a little further). In addition, some of the people (and we, too) had the wrong flight number on their tickets, which is why they didn’t want to put us on the plane at all, although we were on the passenger lists. While they were looking for a representative of Vremya, while he was sorting it out... In general, nerve cells are not restored. Last year we went from the Neva, the organization was better.

Round-trip flight. A charter is a charter, as already mentioned here. The flight is 4.5 hours, without a transfer, directly to Palma. Company KavMinVodyAvia. The planes are quite okay, pretty fresh. Tu-154 there (delay for about half an hour). Back Tu-204. But how these horsemen fly! Return flight 16.50. The guide says that the flight is delayed until at least 18.30 (at the same time, the departure time at 16.50 is on the scoreboard, boarding is not announced, and it’s already 17.00 on the clock!). Well, we think, let's go to a cafe and sit for a long time ... We sat down and had a snack. Suddenly, the information on the scoreboard changes dramatically. Our flight - "Boarding ends" - departure 17.30. As if this plane was not expected, as if it jumped from the mountains (I recalled the film Sportloto 82, how a horseman drove everyone on a motorcycle there). They threw all the food, ran, managed in general. And the guys-pilots drove back great. Somewhere in 4.10 flew.

The host. Firm Barcelo Viages (I can make a mistake in the letters). Nonna, the guide, seems to be from Tomsk, but has been living there for a long time. I have no complaints about her or the company. On the contrary, all thanks to her. It is not her fault that there are not enough Russian guides there. And so, solve problems with the number, please, with the car, please. Maybe only in her stories she often jumped from one thought to another, but this is more from emotions and efforts, it seems to me. In this sense, last year in Dorada the host party was less liked, there was less effort to help people.

Hotel Flamboyan. In our general opinion, the only reason for which he was given 4 stars, so this is the first line of the beach, i.e. exit from the hotel directly to the beach without crossing any roads. And that's it! Nothing more. Cleaning - we have every day, but our others said that they used to not be cleaned. Laying soap-shampoo, at a separate request at the reception or the maid. Air conditioning is not centralized, as in Estival, but window (humming, infection, and in other rooms it still does not cool). Bed sheets changed 2 times, probably all the time. It’s better to keep silent about the buffet, especially compared to Estival. I just didn’t want to go there for breakfast after 4-5 days, they didn’t indulge for dinner either. Those. 3 star hotel with a stretch. We were pleased only with our own parking lot (we rented a car) and a fairly large room with a large veranda (we lived in a family room on the 1st floor, and the hotel is made in the form of steps, so the higher, the smaller the room, though the sea view is better ). Maybe in the season, and it starts on June 15, the hotel starts to behave differently ... I don’t know. The hotel, by the way, is more family and for the elderly than youth - it was evident from the living contingent.

The beach and the town of Magaluf. The water, of course, is clean, only there is some kind of garbage washed ashore. The beach is fine sand, and quite littered. We only understood where the trash came from when my child and I started excavating the beach (we built fortresses with him). It turns out that under a layer of sand (about 20 cm), there is a layer of algae, 15 centimeters thick. I don’t know when they were put there. But these algae mix with sand, dry up and it is almost impossible to clean the beach from them. And when it blows strong wind, then in general a song. In terms of the cleanliness of the beach and the sea, Estival La Pineda is ahead of me. There are many water activities on the beach: bicycles, boats, bananas, parasailing, boat trips, etc. etc., just pay. As usual, along the beach there is a walking path and restaurants, cafes ...

The town itself is standard tourist. But in terms of nightlife, it surpasses Salou, and even more so Pineda. I have never seen such a number of drunk walking, sitting, having fun young people. The pull is in full swing. Barkers stand at every cafe, bar, discos and rather persistently offer to visit their establishments (by the way, I didn’t really like it). The fun goes on until 5-6 in the morning. If the windows of the hotel face the street, then it seems to me impossible to sleep even with a closed balcony. Therefore, we were doubly pleased with the windows to the sea. If you go out into the street at 6 in the morning, you will see all the consequences of the past night - broken bottles, crushed hamburgers and everything else (many people also fail to reach the toilets). In the morning it's all cleaned and washed, and so on until the next night. It's interesting what's going on there during the high season. There are few Russian tourists, no one knows the Russian language (unlike Dorada). There are a lot of Englishmen (we disliked them there, they love to misbehave), there are Germans, Spaniards, of course. But the local police keep order. In our presence, in the morning, two policemen beat four guys on the neck, who, for the sake of a joke, wanted to slightly open the protective cover of the bus (which covers the engine from behind). We met a group of our elderly from Israel in our hotel, they were very surprised that we were from Moscow, and that they were very similar to them :) By the way, the oldest grandmother was 82 years old and she swam in the pool. Excursions and cultural program. In my opinion, man cannot create such beauty as nature creates.

There are historical places in Mallorca. And since on the island in different time hosted by the Arabs, and the Romans, and the Spaniards, the culture of the island is quite diverse. But nature is something. Therefore, I recommend a sightseeing tour of the island to everyone (by bus to Palma, then by a small train, stylized as an antique, through the mountains, then by a pleasure boat on the sea, then by a bus through the mountains, LLuc Monastery - a rich excursion, for the whole day, everyone was happy).

Another excursion is the Drak caves (stalactites, stalagmites, a large underground lake and a small concert of classical music - musicians float on a boat on the lake, acoustics, lighting - you need to see and hear it!). And we had one more excursion - this is the Son Amar restaurant. They let a lot of people into a huge hall, like an amphitheater, they put them at tables, you sit, eat, watch a concert (dance, music ...). In general, as in a jousting tournament, only instead of knights - the stage, dancers, laser special effects are very beautiful. It's worth a visit once, it only ends a little late, at one o'clock in the morning, and even to get to the hotel.

And, of course, it was a real pleasure for us to travel in a rented car (by the way, the cost of rent is less than in mainland Spain and no deposit is taken for a car). For example, a small 4-seater Renault Clio is offered for 12,000 pesetas for 3 days, which is approximately $20. per day. Just by driving a car along the mountain range that runs along the western coast of the island from south to north, to the northernmost point of the island - Cape Formentor, you will get an unforgettable experience. And again, by car you can go to places where the bus simply will not pass. Getting lost, with their organization of movement, is also quite difficult. Even if you went to the wrong place, you can always quickly return - the island is small (approximately 100 by 100 km). If you wish, you can go around the island around the perimeter in one day, but this is only by setting a goal - not to stop at all, and this is difficult. Mountain roads are difficult, you can’t accelerate quickly. We have traveled all mountain range on the west coast to Formentor for 5-6 hours (with stops). For comparison, our way back along the motorway (through the center of the island) took an hour and a half.

Of course, there are many other entertainments on the island: two large water parks (one is just in Magaluf), Marineland (dolphinarium, parrot show), all sorts of different golf courses, yacht clubs, and so on. and so on. and so on. I won’t even talk about this anymore, there’s someone who needs what.

Summary. Mallorca, at least once, but you need to go. I would not go to the Costa Dorada a second time, to Mallorca I would go again.

Many choose June for a holiday in Mallorca. The explanation is simple: there are still few tourists, the weather is excellent, and the sea is getting warmer and warmer every day. Find out on the Tour-Calendar what Mallorca can please you in June!

In June, various kinds of concerts, holidays and festivals are popular in Mallorca. One of such highlights is the jazz festival in Cala d'Or, which takes place in mid-June. Another holiday celebrated throughout Spain is Saint Juan's Night. On this day, torches and bonfires are lit on the seashore in honor of the beginning of summer, and the music does not stop until the morning. The holiday is especially celebrated in Palma de Mallorca. Here, as in some other coastal cities, the Sant Pere festival is held at the end of June, celebrated in honor of the patron saint of fishermen. On this day, beautiful parades are organized in coastal cities, including those on the water. The Sant Marçal Ceramics Festival takes place in Marrachi on June 30th. As a rule, Corpus Christi is also celebrated in June in Pollens - "The Feast of the Body and Blood", one of the main Catholic holidays in honor of the Holy Eucharist. Among other things, he is famous for the "Dance of the Eagles", performed on the streets and the main square of the city, which you can see on the video.

I got a lot of pleasure from my holiday in Mallorca at the end of June!!! The month does not indulge in sultry heat, but it allows you to combine beach holiday with excursion programs. I did not want to return home from the Spanish island at all!

Mallorca: weather and features in June

At the resort rested in the twentieth of June. Of course, there was no excessive heat. The temperature steadily rose during the day to a comfortable +27 degrees, in the evening it dropped to +18. There was practically no wind. The sky pleased with cloudlessness, the sea - calm. The water in the sea was cool and reached a mark of +22 degrees. But it only encouraged and pushed to active swimming. Sitting by the water was comfortable even in the evening. I remember admiring the beautiful sunsets...

What to do in summer

Since there was no scorching sun, I spent two days on excursions. It's easy to drive in search of sights. I met with:

  • the history of Mallorca;
  • got to the capital - Palma;
  • visited gothic castle Belver;
  • went to the Valldemos monastery;
  • I walked along the streets of Soller.

Of course, I didn’t have time to explore the whole miracle island. Still, my priority was beach relaxation.

The best coastal areas

The beaches of the country really resemble paradises. Each one is beautiful and unique in its own way! I appreciated for myself:

  • the bay of Calo des Moro;
  • the azure waters of Cala S'Almunia;
  • shallow beach Cala Mondrago;
  • unearthly beauty Cala Es Caragol;
  • unique place Cala de Sa Calobra.

All of the above has its own merits. Swimming here is a pleasure. Due to the huge number of beautiful areas, the flow of tourists to daytime evenly distributed. Some beaches are empty! And here best beach in all of Spain - I did not appreciate Es Trenc. He seemed to me unkempt and too wild.

In the first half of June, those who do not like intense heat. bathing season just beginning, few tourists, tour prices have not skyrocketed yet. The weather in Mallorca in June is mild. There is no exhausting heat, but you can tan to a chocolate shade. it's the same best time for lovers of excursions. They can spend all day sightseeing on the Spanish island without fear of heatstroke.

Weather

The Mediterranean summer is gaining momentum gradually. If in the first ten days of the month the daily air temperature is kept near the mark of +24°C, then in the twentieth of the month it can rise to +30°C. At night, more than + 18 ° C does not happen.

Mallorca weather forecast for June 2019.

The sea warms up more slowly: in early June, the water temperature does not exceed +18°C, but in the second half it already approaches +24°C. By the way, daylight hours in June last more than 15 hours. There is little rainfall - for the whole month there will be two or three rainy days at most.

June in Mallorca is also good because it is the quietest, windless month of the year. The forecast for early summer 2019 does not promise any surprises. The weather will be average. You can't take an umbrella, summer dress code, but for evening walks need jeans and sweatshirt.

Getting around the island

The main form of transport here is buses. Tickets are bought from the driver, naming their final stop. If you are going to travel around the island by bus, then buy a travel pass at the newsstand. It is designed for 10 trips and costs 8 euros. Savings will be about 50%.

The bus is the main mode of transport.

A good solution would be (from €30 per day). For this you need driver license international standard. The service is not available to persons under the age of 21. You can rent a bike, but travel itineraries need to be developed in advance. The distances between cities in Mallorca are small, but not everyone can ride on mountain serpentines.

Cycling goes well with sightseeing.

Mallorca beaches

The coastline of the island is indented with rocks and headlands. There are more than 200 beaches for every taste - sandy and pebbly, noisy and not crowded, comfortable and wild. The most popular of them:

  • Cala Mondrago. Located in the zone natural park, there are places for picnics in the forest.

Cala Mondrago - relaxation in the shade of trees.

  • The name of the beach was given by the hotel of the same name, where many world celebrities stayed. The coast is surrounded pine forest and landscaped.

For family holidays, the beaches of Playa Muro, Camp de Mar, Santa Ponso, Es Trenc are recommended. These are many kilometers of coastline with fine sand and a safe entrance to the sea. All beaches in Mallorca are municipal, admission is free, money is taken only for additional services.
