Prayer of Saint John of Damascus

Lover of mankind, will this coffin be for me, or will you enlighten my wretched soul in the daytime? Seven coffin is before me, seven death is coming. I am afraid of Your judgment, Lord, and endless torment, but I do not stop doing evil: I will always anger the Lord my God, and Your Most Pure Mother, and all the heavenly powers, and my holy guardian angel. We know, O Lord, that I am not worthy of Thy love for mankind, but I am worthy of all condemnation and torment. But, Lord, either I want it or I don't want it, save me. If you save the righteous, you are nothing great; and if you have mercy on the pure, it is nothing marvelous: for the essence of Thy mercy is worthy. But on me, a sinner, surprise Thy mercy: in this, show Thy philanthropy, so that my malice will not overcome Thy inexpressible goodness and mercy: and if you wish, arrange a thing for me.
Enlighten my eyes, O Christ God, lest I fall asleep into death, lest my enemy say: Be strong against him.
Glory: Be the intercessor of my soul, O God, as I walk in the midst of many nets; Deliver me from them and save me, Blessed One, like a Lover of mankind.
And now: The Most Glorious Mother of God, and the Most Holy Angel of the Holy Angels, silently sing with heart and mouth, confessing this Mother of God, as if she truly gave birth to God, is incarnate, and praying unceasingly for our souls.

Mark yourself with the cross and say a prayer to the Holy Cross:
Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered, and let those who hate Him flee from His presence. As the smoke disappears, let them disappear; as wax melts from the face of fire, so let the demons perish from the face of those who love God and are marked by the sign of the cross, and in joy they say: Rejoice, Most Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, drive away the demons by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, crucified on you, who descended into hell and corrected his strength the devil, and who gave us His Honorable Cross to drive away every adversary. O Most Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord! Help me with the Holy Lady Virgin Mother of God and with all the saints forever. Amen.

Or briefly:
Protect me, Lord, by the power of Your Honorable and Life-Giving Cross, and save me from all evil.

MORNING PRAYERS:
We are the children of God, and every morning we raise our first thoughts to our Father who is in heaven: we welcome Him, we thank Him for the new day of life. The main idea of the morning prayer is the worship of God. The rising sun awakens all life. In this we see the mode of action of God and glorify the Giver of Life. At the same time, we come face to face with our life tasks, which are participation in the work of God. By sacrificing our work to Him, we ask Him for help and renew our sincere intention to live in unity with Him.

A call to glorify God:
Come, let us sing to the Lord, let us shout to the rock of our salvation; let us stand before His face with praise, let us exclaim to Him in songs.
For the Lord is a great God and a great King over all gods.
In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the tops of the mountains are His; His is the sea, and He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
Come, let us bow down and bow down, let us kneel before the face of the Lord our Creator; for he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
Ps 95(94), 1-7

Morning praise:
I praise You, my God, and I love You with all my heart. I thank You that You created me, made me a Christian and saved me from death this night. I give you all my actions today - may they be pleasing to you and serve your glory. Save me from sin and all evil. May your grace always be with me and my loved ones. Amen.

Please enjoy this day.
Lord, God Almighty, You allowed me to live to a new day: strengthen me with Your grace. Help me today in every neighbor to see the dignity of the children of God, and be able to show them love. Help me to create around me an atmosphere of goodwill and joy. Let my thoughts and actions express Your will. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Longing for God:
God! You are my God, I seek you from the early dawn; My soul yearns for You, my flesh languishes for You in an empty, dry, and waterless land, to see Your power and Your glory, as I saw You in the sanctuary: for Your mercy is better than life. My mouth will praise You. So I will bless You in my life; in your name I will lift up my hands.
As my soul is saturated with fat and oil, and my lips praise You with a joyful voice, when I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watch, for You are my help, and in the shade of Your wings I will rejoice; my soul clings to you; Your right hand supports me.
Ps 63(62), 2-9

Prayer Invocations for Faith, Hope, Love, and Contrition:

I wish to always live by this faith: Lord, strengthen my faith.

I accept all the suffering associated with it as participation in the cross of Jesus. O my Lord, to Your Almighty Heart I entrust all the unemployed, the poor and the unfortunate people. Saint Joseph, patron of all workers, pray for me and for all who work with me. Amen.

Reflection:
The prayers we say have a rich semantic content. It is good sometimes to meditate on them in peace and quiet. As we do so, we will see what they say about what is close to our hearts. It would be very good if we could find instruction in them as well. In the end, a practical decision should be made - one, but firm.
Before embarking on such a prayer, it is necessary to concentrate and humble your heart before God, who is with us and gives us His love. Ask Him to help our prayer. Concluding our reflection, we must present our decision to God, thank Him for the grace of being with Him, for the fact that He strengthened us and illumined our mind. This is the simplest method of thinking.
It will be good if we add to our prayerful reflection the texts of the Holy Scriptures, the psalms, the prayers of the Rosary and the Way of the Cross. You can use other prayers offered in this prayer book.

Short Prayer Invocations:
During the day, God can also be addressed repeatedly in very short prayers called short invocations. They can be said everywhere, almost at any time, on the way to work, and even doing something. Anyone who finds such a prayer for himself and makes it truly his own will be able to feel the full power of its action.
My Lord and my God!
You, Lord, are good and merciful!
Lord, increase my faith!
God, Thy will be done!
God, I trust in You, let me not be put to shame!
Lord, my hope!
Have mercy on me, Lord, in my sorrows!
Guide me, O God, in Your paths!
Come, Lord Jesus!
All for the glory of God!
Remember me Lord...

Teach me, Lord, to serve You worthily, teach me to give, regardless of the price, to work without knowing rest; teach me to work without asking for any other reward, except for the assurance of the fulfillment of Your will. Amen.
St. Ignatius Loyola

The test of conscience is a time of prayer, a time of meeting in which we renew our life with and in Christ day by day. It gives us the opportunity to more fully and objectively see the presence and action of God in our lives, to know His plans for us so that we can find Him in everything and everywhere - not only during the time allotted for prayer. The test of conscience is not only an analysis of the day, not only a moral assessment of our actions: our vision of life should lead us to search for an answer to the call of God, to self-determination in faith. During the nightly test of conscience, feelings are put in order and focus with which to end the day: gratitude to God for grace and blessing, contrition for bad deeds and thoughts, a decision to correct life and surrender with hope in the hands of a good God.
Merciful God! Thank you with all my heart for all the blessings today and the grace bestowed upon me. Come, O Holy Spirit, illumine my mind so that all the sins I have committed today are revealed to me, and especially my main vice. Break my heart so that I sincerely mourn for my sins.
I believe, Lord, that You are the God and Father of mercy. Therefore, with humble hope, I offer You my sins, so that You may look at my contrition and grant me forgiveness. For You are the Almighty God, who whitens souls more than snow and the light of the sun. Amen.

Suggestions for the test of conscience:
PRAYER: My fellowship with God? The memory of His presence? Thanksgiving? Strive to live like a Christian? Petitions? Hope? Prayer for forgiveness?
WORK, STUDY, REST: Ability to manage time? Fulfillment of duties? Dedication? Resignation to one's own limitations and responsibility for one's abilities? Struggling with laziness and difficulties? Forms of recreation, care for a good mood?
COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE: Respect? Cooperation and mutual assistance? Goodwill in words and deeds? Accepting reasonable offers? Attention to the concerns and suffering of others? Striving for justice? Protecting the weak?
The next psalm is to be read:
The Lord is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life: whom shall I fear?
If evildoers, my adversaries and enemies, attack me to devour my flesh, then they themselves will stumble and fall.
Hear, O Lord, my voice with which I cry, have mercy on me and listen to me.
My heart says from You: “Seek my face”; and I will seek Your face, Lord.
Do not hide your face from me; do not reject your servant in anger.
You were my helper; do not reject me and do not leave me, O God, my Savior!
For my father and my mother have left me, but the Lord will receive me.
Teach me, Lord, Your way and guide me on the path of righteousness for the sake of my enemies.
But I believe that I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Trust in the Lord, be of good cheer, and let your heart be strong, and trust in the Lord.
Ps 27(26), 1-2. 7-11. 13-14

Other evening prayers:
Oh God, another day of my life has passed. Every moment that I lived was a gift from You: whether I worked or rested, communicated with people or was alone with myself, rejoiced or sad — everything was Your gift.
Thank you for everything I have learned and experienced today. You alone know whether I have succeeded in fulfilling Your will. Forgive me everything that I overlooked, what I forgot about, for everything that was not according to Your will. Have mercy on me, a sinner. Let the rest of the night increase my strength so that I can better live tomorrow.
Take care of all those who sleep and those who work this night. I entrust all my future and those of my loved ones to Your merciful care, our God and Father. Amen.

Foreword

The experience of educational work and interaction with the elderly in social service centers, with children under the Star of Bethlehem Orthodox-oriented children's recreation program, as well as with church-going adults in catechetical courses, reveals the enormous difficulties experienced by these categories of believers in prayerful communion with God . Due to age, employment, or the weak church development of children's consciousness, they do not understand the prayer books in Church Slavonic that are in general church use. At the same time, such believers sometimes have no opportunity to attend Church Slavonic courses or study it at home on their own. In addition, due to a lack of prayer and church experience, it is rare for any of the new Christians to have the opportunity to read the morning and evening rule in full.
As a result of the foregoing, an urgent need arose to compile and publish the text of the main church prayers contained in the Orthodox prayer book in Russian. The creation of such a prayer book was approved by a large number of responsible church workers and authoritative clergy, as well as Orthodox youth leaders at the conference “Youth in the Church. Problems and ways of their solution” (2005).
A short prayer book for new Christians in Russian since 2004 is being prepared by me for publication. Over the years, on the basis of consultations with specialists, the prayer book has been revised many times, in 2007 it passed philological and theological censorship, and last year it received the approval of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis. Currently, the Hierarchy is considering the possibility of publishing this prayer book. Until the appropriate decision, it cannot be officially published in printed form.

MORNING PRAYERS

Rising from sleep, before any other occupation, become reverent, presenting yourself before the All-Seeing God, and, putting the sign of the cross on yourself, say:

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

After that, wait a little, so that all your feelings calm down and your thoughts leave everything earthly. And then say the following prayers, without haste, with heartfelt attention. Do this before beginning any prayer.

Predestinatory prayer

Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of truth, Who exists everywhere and fills the whole world, Source of blessings and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save, Good, our souls.

(Bow)

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (Bow)

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (Bow)

Prayer to the Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse our sins. Lord, forgive our iniquities. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Your name's sake.

Lord have mercy. (Three times)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in Heaven! May your name be hallowed; let your kingdom come; May Your will be done both in heaven and on earth. Give us our daily bread for this day; and forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Troparion of the Holy Trinity

Rising after sleep, we fall at Your feet, Good One, and proclaim the angelic song to You, Strong One: “Holy, Holy, Holy are You, God, have mercy on us through the prayers of the Mother of God.”

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. From the bed from sleep You raised me, Lord! Enlighten my mind and heart, and open my mouth to sing to You, Holy Trinity: “Holy, Holy, Holy are You, God, have mercy on us through the prayers of the Mother of God.”

And now and always and forever and ever. Amen. Suddenly the Judge will come and everyone's deeds will be revealed. With fear, let us exclaim at midnight: “Holy, Holy, Holy are You, O God, through the prayers of the Theotokos, have mercy on us.”

Lord have mercy. (12 times)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Trinity

Rising after sleep, I thank You, Holy Trinity, that by Your great mercy and longsuffering, You, God, did not become angry with me, lazy and sinful, and did not stop my life amid my iniquities, but showed me Your usual love of mankind, and lifted me up sleeping, to bring you morning prayer and glorify your might. And now enlighten my thoughts, that I may learn Thy word, understand Thy commandments, and do Thy will. And open my mouth to to glorify You with a grateful heart and sing Your most holy name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Come, let us worship the King, our God. (Bow)

to Christ the King, our God. (Bow)

Come, let's bow down and fall down To Christ Himself, our King and God. (Bow)

Psalm 50

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and according to the abundance of Thy compassion, blot out my transgressions. Wash me many times from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my iniquities, and my sin is always before me. I have sinned against You, the One, and done evil in Your eyes, so that You are righteous in Your judgment and pure in Your judgment. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and my mother bore me in sin. But, behold, You loved the truth and revealed to me the hidden secret of Your wisdom. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness, and broken bones will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me. Give me back my joy hope for salvation by Thee and the dominating Spirit strengthen me. I will teach the transgressors Your ways, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from spills God of blood, the God of my salvation, and my tongue will praise your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will proclaim Your praise. If You would have desired a sacrifice, I would have offered it, but You are not pleased with a burnt offering. Sacrifice to God is a contrite spirit; You will not reject a contrite and humble heart, O God. Show me God Thy favor to Zion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be erected. Then the sacrifices of righteousness, offerings and burnt offerings, will be pleasing to You; then they will offer calves on your altar.

And now and always and forever and ever. Amen. Open to us, blessed Mother of God, the doors to mercy God's lest we, who trust in Thee, perish, but be delivered through Thee from troubles: for Thou art the salvation of the Christian race.

Lord have mercy. (12 times)

Master, Lord Jesus Christ, our God, the Source of life and immortality, the Creator of all visible and invisible creation, the Father without beginning, also the eternal and also without beginning Son! By Your excessive goodness in last days incarnated, crucified and buried for us, the ungrateful and malevolent, and by Your blood renewed our nature corrupted by sin. You Yourself, immortal King, accept my sinful repentance; incline your ear to me and hear my words. For I have sinned, O Lord, I have sinned against heaven and before You, and I am not worthy to lift my eyes into heavenly the height of thy glory; for I have angered thy goodness by transgressing thy commandments and not obeying thy commandments. But You, Lord, not malice, long-suffering, many-merciful, did not allow me to perish among my iniquities, in every possible way awaiting my conversion. For You have said, O Lover of mankind, through Your prophet that You do not desire the death of a sinner, but that he turn on the path of good and was alive. You do not want, Lord, that the creation of Your hands should perish, and You do not find satisfaction in human destruction, but You desire that all be saved and reach the knowledge of the truth. Therefore, even though I am not worthy of either heaven or earth, or this short life itself, since I have enslaved myself to sin and sensual pleasures and defiled in itself Your Image, but, being Your creation and creation, I, unfortunate, do not despair of my salvation and boldly resort to Your immeasurable mercy. Accept me also, O Lord, who loves mankind, as a harlot, as a robber, as a publican, as a prodigal son. And take away from me the heavy burden of sins - You, who take on the sin of the world and heal human infirmities, - calling to You the exhausted and burdened and giving them rest, - who came to call to repentance not the righteous, but sinners. And cleanse me from all impurity of body and soul, and teach me to lead a holy life in fear of You, so that, communing, with the pure testimony of my conscience, Your Holiness, I enter into unity with Your holy Body and Blood and have You living in me and abiding with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Oh Lord Jesus Christ, my God! And may the communion of Your most pure and life-giving Mysteries not be condemned to me, and may I not become weak in soul and body from their unworthy communion; but let me, until my last breath, partake of Your Holy Things not in condemnation, A in communion with the Holy Spirit, as parting word to eternal life and as a favorable answer at Your terrible judgment, so that I, with all Your chosen ones, become a participant in the fullness of Your blessings prepared by You, Lord, for those who love You, in which You are glorified forever. Amen.

Lord, my God, I realize that I am unworthy and unprepared for You to enter under the shelter of the dwelling of my soul, because it is all empty and destroyed, and there is no worthy place in me where You could lay Your head. But how did You humiliate Yourself for us, having descended from high heavenly so now descend to my insignificance. And how pleased You were to lie down in a cave, in a manger without words animals so deign to enter into the manger of my reckless soul and into my defiled body. And just as You did not hesitate to enter and take part in the supper with sinners in the house of Simon the leper, so deign to enter into the dwelling of my humble, leper and sinful soul.

And just as You did not reject a harlot and a sinner like me, who came and touched You, so have mercy on me, a sinner, who comes and touches You. And just as You did not abhor her filthy and unclean lips that kissed You, so do not abhor even more than her, my filthy and unclean lips, vile and unclean lips and my nasty and even more unclean tongue. But let me be blazing the coal of Your most holy Body and Your precious Blood for sanctification and enlightenment, for the health of my humble soul and body, for the relief of the burden of many of my sins, for protection from any devilish influence, for the elimination and curbing of my bad and harmful habits, for the mortification of passions, for to prosper in Thy Commandments, to increase Thy divine grace, to gain Thy Kingdom. For I come to Thee, O Christ God, not as bold, but as one who trusts in Thy unspeakable mercy, and that, being far apart from Thee, I should not be snatched away by the spiritual wolf. Therefore, I pray to You: as the only Holy One, sanctify, Lord, my soul and body, mind and heart, all internal organs and renew me all, and plant the fear of Thee in my members, and make Thy sanctification indelible in me. Be my helper and intercessor, directing, like a helmsman, peacefully my life, may I be honored at the Court to stand at Your right hand with Your Saints, the prayers and intercession of Your All-Pure Mother, Your incorporeal servants and most pure Powers and all the saints who have pleased You from eternity. Amen.

Lord, the only pure and immortal, according to inexpressible yours compassion and philanthropy, who took upon Himself all our complex nature from the pure virgin blood that supernaturally gave birth to You by the influx of the Holy Spirit, by the good pleasure of the eternal Father, Jesus Christ, the Wisdom of God, peace and strength! You, who accepted life-giving and saving sufferings in the flesh You assumed: the cross, nails, death - kill my bodily passions that are destructive to the soul. You who devastated the kingdom of hell with Your burial, bury my bad intentions with good thoughts and scatter the spirits of evil. You, Your life-giving on the third day from the coffin who raised up the fallen forefather with revolt, raise me also, who fell into sin, giving me the means to repentance. You, who by Your glorious ascension deified the assumed flesh and honored it to sit at the right hand of the Father, make me worthy to reach the right side of those who are being saved by the communion of Your holy Mysteries. You, who by the descent of the Comforter of the Spirit made Your holy disciples precious vessels, make me also the receptacle of His coming. You, intending to come again to judge the universe righteously, make me worthy to meet, with all Your saints, You, my Judge and Creator, coming on the clouds, so that I endlessly glorify and sing to You, with Your Father without beginning and Your All-Holy, Good and Life-Giving Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Master, Lord, Jesus Christ, our God, the only one who has the power to forgive people's sins! As a merciful and philanthropist, neglect all my sins, committed both consciously and unconsciously, and allow me, without being condemned, to partake of Your divine, glorious, most pure and life-giving Mysteries, not burdensome transgressions, not in torment, not in the multiplication of sins, but in cleansing, sanctification, as a pledge of the future life and the Kingdom, in protection, help and driving away enemies, in the extermination of many of my sins. For You are a merciful, compassionate and philanthropic God, and to You we send glory, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 5, St. Basil the Great

I know, Lord, that I unworthily partake of Your most pure Body and Your precious Blood, and am guilty, and I eat and drink condemnation to myself, not distinguishing between Your Body and Blood, Christ and my God. But I, trusting in Your compassion, come to You, Who said: “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me and I in him.” Have mercy, O Lord, and do not rebuke me, a sinner, but deal with me according to Your mercy. And may this Shrine be to me in healing, purification, enlightenment, preservation and salvation, and in the sanctification of the soul and body; to drive away everyone empty dreams, evil deeds and devilish influences manifested through thoughts in my members; in boldness before You and love for You, in the correction and affirmation of life in goodness, the growth of virtue and perfection, in the fulfillment of the commandments, in communion with the Holy Spirit, in farewell to eternal life, in a favorable answer at Your terrible judgment, - not in condemnation or as punishment.

Prayer six, St. John Chrysostom

Let go, forgive me, forgive me my sins, O God, with which I have sinned against Thee in word, deed, thought, voluntarily and involuntarily, consciously and unconsciously, forgive me everything, for You are good and Lover of mankind. And through the prayers of Your most pure Mother, Your incorporeal servants and holy Forces, and all the saints who have pleased You from the beginning of the world, favor me to accept Your holy and most pure Body and honest Blood without condemnation, for the healing of soul and body and for the purification of my evil thoughts: for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

The seventh prayer, his

I am not worthy, Master Lord, that You should enter under the shelter of my soul. But since You, Lover of mankind, want to live in me, I boldly approach. You command, and I will open the doors that You alone created, and You will enter with ordinary philanthropy, You will enter and enlighten my darkened mind. I believe that You will do it. For You did not leave the harlot who came to You with tears; did not reject the repentant publican; did not drive away even the robber who recognized the King in You; did not leave what he was, and the repentant persecutor Your Paul; but to all who came to You with repentance, You gave a place in the host of Your friends, the only Blessed One always, now and forever and ever. Amen.

Eighth prayer, his

Lord Jesus Christ, my God, weaken, let go, cleanse, have mercy and forgive me, a sinner, a worthless and unworthy servant of Yours, all my mistakes, sins and falls that I have sinned against You from my youth to this day and hour: consciously or unconsciously, in words or deeds, inclinations, thoughts, aspirations and all my feelings. And with the prayers of the most pure Ever-Virgin Mary, Your Mother, who has unseedlessly given birth to You, my only firm hope, protection and salvation, grant me the opportunity to partake of Your most pure, eternal, saving and terrible Mysteries, without incurring condemnation, for the remission of sins and eternal life, into sanctification and enlightenment, into strength, healing and health of the soul and body, into the extermination and complete destruction of my evil thoughts, thoughts and intentions, as well as impure dreams, dark and evil spirits. For Yours is the kingdom and power and glory and honor and worship, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Before the doors of your temple I stand, and after all I don't leave bad thoughts. But you, Christ God, who justified the publican and had mercy on the Canaanite woman and opened the doors of paradise to the thief, open your loving heart to me and receive me, who comes and touches you, as you accepted harlot and bleeding: for one, touching the hem of your garment, immediately received healing; the other, embracing Your pure feet, received the forgiveness of sins.

And I, unfortunate, deciding to accept Your whole Body, may I not burn; but accept me as You accepted those women, and enlighten the feelings of my soul, burning my sins, with prayers without the seed of You who gave birth and the heavenly Forces. For blessed are You forever and ever. Amen.

Tenth Prayer, St. John Chrysostom

I believe, Lord, and I confess that You are indeed the Christ, the Son of the Living God, Who came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the first. I also believe that this is Your very pure Body and this is Your very precious Blood. Therefore, I ask You: have mercy on me and forgive me my sins, voluntary and involuntary, which I have committed in word or deed, consciously or unconsciously; and make me worthy, without condemnation, to partake of Your most pure Mysteries in order to receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Amen.

End of prayers

It is truly worthy to glorify You as the Mother of God, always blessed and immaculate, and the Mother of our God. We magnify You as the true Mother of God, who painlessly gave birth to God the Word, worthy of greater honor than the Cherubim, and incomparably more glorious than the Seraphim.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Lord have mercy. (Three times)

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, in prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother, our reverend and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Immediately before Communion, if possible, say the following verses to yourself:

Here I come to divine communion. Creator, do not scorch me with communion! For You are the fire that burns the unworthy. But cleanse me from all impurity.

never such kissing like Judas, but like a thief, I openly express my faith in You, saying: “Remember me, Lord, in Your Kingdom!”

And the following verses:

Human, tremble at the sight of the divine Blood! She is the fire that burns the unworthy. The body of God deifies and nourishes me: it deifies the spirit, incomprehensibly nourishes the mind.

Then troparia:

You attracted me, O Christ, with love and changed me with a holy desire for You. My sins have fallen into an immaterial fire and make me worthy to enjoy You sweetly, so that I rejoicingly glorify Your two comings.

How can I, unworthy, enter into the bright assembly of Your saints? After all, if I decide to enter the chamber with them marriage, the clothes will give me away, for they are not the same as they go to marriage, and I will be bound and driven out by the Angels. Cleanse, O Lord, the impurity of my soul and save me as a Lover of mankind.

Also a prayer:

Vladyka - Lover of mankind, Lord, Jesus Christ my God, may this Holy thing be to me not as an accusation for my unworthiness, but as a purification of soul and body and as a pledge of future life and Kingdom. But it is good for me to cling to God, to place in the Lord the hope of my salvation.

And again:

Receive me today as a participant in Your sacramental Supper, Son of God, for I never I will not betray secrets to Your enemies and I will not give You such kissing like Judas, but like a thief, I openly express my faith in You, saying: Remember me, Lord, in Your Kingdom!

I thank You, Lord, my God, that You did not reject me, a sinner, but made me worthy to partake of Your Holy Things. I thank You that You made me worthy, unworthy, to partake of Your most pure heavenly Gifts. But, Lord-Loving Man, who died for us and rose again and bestowed on us these terrible life-giving Mysteries for the benefit and sanctification of our souls and bodies, make them also for me, for the healing of soul and body, for the reflection of every enemy, for the enlightenment of the eyes of my heart, into the world of my spiritual strength, into firm faith, into unfeigned love, into the enlightenment of the mind, into the observance of Thy commandments, into the multiplication of Thy divine grace, and into the acquisition of Thy Kingdom; so that, being kept by them in purity before You, I always remember Your mercy and live no longer for myself, but for You, our Lord and Benefactor. And thus, leaving this life in the hope of Eternal life, I will come to a place of eternal rest, where the voices of the triumphant do not stop and where the joy of those who look at the inexpressible beauty of Your face is endless. For You are the true goal of aspiration every person and the inexplicable joy of those who love You, Christ our God, and all creation sings of You forever. Amen.

Prayer two, St. Basil the Great

Master, Christ God, King of the ages and Creator of all peace! I thank You for all the blessings that You have given me, and for the communion of Your most pure and life-giving Mysteries. And so I pray to You, merciful and philanthropist: keep me under Your protection, and give me with with a clear conscience Until my last breath, it is worthy to partake of Your Holy Things for the remission of sins and eternal life. For You are the Bread of Life, the Source of sanctification, the Giver of blessings. And to You we send glory, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer three, St. Simeon Metaphrastus

Lord, who voluntarily gave me Your flesh as food, You are the fire that burns the unworthy! Do not burn me, my Creator! But go into the members of my body, into all the joints, into the insides, into the heart, and the thorns of all my sins fell. Purify my soul, sanctify my thoughts, strengthen me in my activity, enlighten my feelings, saturate me all with fear of You. Always protect, protect, protect me from every deed and word harmful to the soul. Purify, wash, adorn me; strengthen, enlighten and enlighten me. Make me Your temple of the one Spirit and no longer a dwelling place of sin, so that after receiving Communion, every villain, every passion fled from me, as from Your house, as from fire. As intercessors for myself, I present to You all the saints, the chiefs of the incorporeal Forces, Your Forerunner, the wise Apostles and, above them, Your immaculate, most pure Mother. Accept their prayers, my merciful Christ, and make Thy servant a son of light. For You, the Merciful One, are the only sanctification and illumination of our souls. And to You, as befits a God and Master, we all send glory every day.

Prayer Four

Thy Holy Body, Lord Jesus Christ, our God, may it be to me for eternal life, and Thy precious Blood for the remission of sins: and may this communion be to me in joy, health and gladness;

in your terrible and second coming, vouchsafe me a sinner, to stand in your glory, through the prayers of your Most Pure Mother and all the saints.

Prayer Five, to the Most Holy Theotokos

Most Holy Lady Theotokos, light of my darkened soul, hope, protection, refuge, consolation, my joy! I thank You that You made me worthy, unworthy, to partake of the most pure Body and the precious Blood of Your Son. Having given birth to the true Light, enlighten the spiritual eyes of my heart. Give birth to the Source of immortality, revive me, mortified by sin. Merciful God, merciful Mother, have mercy on me and give me tenderness and contrition in my heart, humility in thoughts, a return to the good thoughts of my mind, in cases of his enthusiasm. And vouchsafe me until my last breath, without being condemned, to accept the sanctuary of the most pure Mysteries for the healing of soul and body. And give me tears of repentance and thanksgiving so that I may sing and glorify Thee all the days of my life, for Thou art blessed and glorified forever. Amen.

Now you release Your servant, Lord, according to Your word, in peace, for my eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to enlighten the Gentiles and the glory of Your people, Israel.

Then the end of thanksgiving prayers:

Lord have mercy. (12 times)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen.

We magnify You as the true Mother of God, who gave birth without illness to God the Word, worthy of greater honor than the Cherubim, and incomparably more glorious than the Seraphim.

After the Communion of the Body and Blood of the Lord, let everyone remain in purity, abstinence and laconicism, in order to worthily preserve the Christ received in himself.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy, and according to the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. Wash me most of all from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and my sin before me is taken out. I have sinned against you alone and done evil before you, as if you were justified in your words, and conquered when you judge Thee. Behold, in iniquities I was conceived, and in sins my mother gave birth to me. Behold, thou hast loved the truth; the unknown and secret wisdom of Thy revealed to me. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Give joy and joy to my hearing; the bones of the humble will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse all my iniquities. Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me. Reward me the joy of Your salvation and confirm me with the dominating Spirit. I will teach the wicked in Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from blood, O God, God of my salvation; my tongue rejoices in thy righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will proclaim your praise. As if you would have desired sacrifices, you would have given them: you do not favor burnt offerings. Sacrifice to God the spirit is broken; a contrite and humble heart God will not despise. Please, O Lord, with Thy favor Zion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, an offering and a burnt offering; then they will offer bullocks on your altar.

Everyday confession sins
I confess to You, the Lord my God and the Creator in the Holy Trinity, the One, glorified and worshiped by the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, all the sins that I have done all the days of my stomach, and for every hour, I am now, and in the past days and nights, deed, word, thought, overeating, drunkenness, esoteric activity, idle talk, despondency, laziness, contradiction, disobedience, slander, condemnation, negligence, self-love, acquisitiveness, theft, ill-spokenness, foul profiteering, mischief, jealousy, envy, anger, remembrance, hatred, covetousness, and all my senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and my other sins, mental and bodily together, in the image of You, my God and Creator, anger, and my neighbor untrue; I am sorry for these, I am guilty of Thee, my God, I imagine and have the will to repent: to this point, Lord my God, help me, with tears I humbly pray to Thee: forgive me, who has passed my sins by Thy mercy, and resolve from all these, even if I have spoken before Thee, like the Good and the Lover of mankind. Mark yourself with the cross and say a prayer
Holy Cross:
Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered, and let those who hate Him flee from His presence. As the smoke disappears, let them disappear; as wax melts from the face of fire, so let the demons perish from the face of those who love God and are marked by the sign of the cross, and in joy they say: Rejoice, Most Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, drive away the demons by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, crucified on you, who descended into hell and corrected his strength the devil, and gave us to you, His Honest Cross for the forgiveness of every adversary. O. Most Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord! Help me with the Holy Mother of God Theotokos and with all the saints forever. Amen.
When you go to sleep, say:

Prayerful sigh of a Christian spouse during pregnancy
Oh, Glorious Mother of God, have mercy on me, Thy servant, come to my aid during my illnesses and dangers, with which these poor daughters of Eve give birth. With a contrite soul, and a humble spirit before You, we bow down, and as if a servant of indecency, more than a big execution worthy in repentance, tenderly crying out to You: we have sinned and transgressed and transgressed in everything, and Your commandments are transgressive, and for this all, even bring on us guide us with truth and judgment: but not to the end of corruption, let the smoothness and destruction betray us, let the water storm drown us below: but remember mercy in anger, and for the sake of Thy bounties, have mercy, and Thy creation and the work of Thy hands, as good, have mercy and deliver from all evil soon. With Your wave, You inexpressibly determine the change of times, the rotation of the sun and the mixing of the elements, all leading to the spiritual and unshakable. Himself, the all-good King, applying Your usual love of mankind and goodness to us, visit the works of Your hands and do not remove Your mercy and Your bounty from us, and, Who Himself created us inexpressibly in Your image, do not destroy Your covenant. Almighty and eternal God, containing all creation in His right hand, possessing heaven and earth and all that is in them, and generously giving to the created everything useful to him! We fervently pray to you, Omnipotent One: just as you once deigned to grant the Israelites a land rich in honey and milk, and feed your John the Baptist with wild honey in the wilderness, so now, with your merciful eye, bless this bee-keeper and his hives for the food of life, multiply bees in it and, preserving them by Your mercy, grant us an abundance of honey, may this bee be not deprived of Your bee creations, but always full of honeycombs, and by Your great mercy and irresistible power, may not be overcome by many misfortunes and shaken by sinful conspiracies, but protected by Your Surrounded by an all-powerful fortress and an army (angelic), he will remain safe from all evil magic and always unharmed in Your, Christ, power. 2. St. Boniface the Merciful
O all-holy Boniface, merciful servant of the Merciful Master!
Hear those who come running to you, obsessed with a pernicious addiction to drinking wine, and just as in your earthly life you never refused to help those who ask you, so now deliver these unfortunate ones (names). you poured it drop by drop into all the vessels that were in the bishopric, and God, fulfilling the prayer of the merciful, performed a glorious miracle: the wine in the winepress multiplied and the poor filled their vessels.
Oh saint of God! Hear, Reverend Moses, their prayer, drive away the devil from them, grant them the power to overcome passion, help them, stretch out your hand, lead them on the path of good, free them from the slavery of passions ~ and deliver them from drinking wine, so that they, renewed, in sobriety and a bright mind, they loved temperance and piety and eternally glorified the All-good God, who always saves his creatures. Psalm 90
Alive in the help of the Most High, in the blood of the God of Heaven will settle. The Lord says: Thou art my intercessor, and my refuge, my God, and I trust in Him. Like that he will deliver you from the net of the hunter, and from the word of the rebellious. His splash will overshadow you, and under His wing you hope: His truth will be your weapon. Do not be afraid of the fear of the night, from the arrow flying in the days, from the thing that comes in the darkness, from the scum and the demon of the afternoon. A thousand will fall from your country, and the darkness at your right hand will not come near you. Both look at your eyes, and see the retribution of sinners. As you, O Lord, are my hope, the Most High have laid down your refuge. Evil will not come to you, and the wound will not approach your body: as if by Your Angel a commandment about you, save you in all your ways: They will take you in their hands, but not when you stumble your foot on a stone: Step on the asp and basilisk, and cross the lion and a snake.
As a catch on Me, and I will deliver and: I will cover and, as if I knew My Name. He will call to me and I will hear him: I am with him in sorrow, I will crush him, and I will glorify him: I will fulfill him with long life, and show him My salvation.

Prayer from the seal of antichrist
Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, save me from deceit near the coming ungodly and wicked Antichrist. Deliver me from all his wiles. And hide me from his treacherous nets in the secret wilderness of Your salvation and do not let me, Lord, be afraid of the fear of the devil more than the Fear of God and depart from You. But give me the best, Lord, strengthen me, help me suffer and die for Your Holy Name and the Orthodox faith, but do not renounce You and do not accept the seal from the damned Antichrist and do not worship him. Give me, Lord, day and night, weeping and tears for my sins, and spare me, Lord, at the hour of Your Last Judgment. Amen.

Psalm 50 ... (see among the morning prayers)

Psalm 3
Lord, that you have multiplied those who are cold; many rise up against me, many say to my soul: there is no salvation for him in his God. You, O Lord, are my intercessor, my glory, and lift up my head. With my voice I called to the Lord and heard me from my holy mountain. I fell asleep and spah, rose, as if the Lord would intercede for me. I will not be afraid of those people around who attack me. Resurrect, Lord, save me, my God: as you have struck down those who are at enmity with me in vain, you have crushed the teeth of sinners.
Salvation is of the Lord, and Your blessing is upon Your people.

Prayer for deliverance from impure thoughts

I am Your creation, do not despise the work of Your hand. Do not turn away, have mercy, but do not despise me, Lord, as I am weak, as I have resorted to You, my Protector God. Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You. Save me, for the sake of Thy mercy, for I have been devoted to Thee from my youth; let those who seek to be put to shame, I have been rejected from Thee by unclean deeds, by memories unprofitable. Drive away from me all filth, excess of malice, as if You are the One Holy, the One Strong, the One Immortal, in all having power without application and You are given to everyone even against the devil and his armies. As befits You all glory, honor and worship, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer for the battle of fornication
Lord, God of righteousness, my strength and help and my refuge in an evil day. You save me in time of grief, save me (name), as if you had brought water to my soul, coal was in deep thyme, and there is no violence from the face of the enemy, as if you chased my soul, trampling my belly into the ground, all night overcoming offend me. Please, Lord, save me from the hand of the lawless and offending, as if I would not sin with You, for the fear of death attack me, and darkness covers me. As long as I call on the Lord and do not hear, rise up to Thee offended and do not save. Look from heaven, O Lord, and see from the house of Thy Holy One and Thy glory, where there is a multitude of Thy bounties, according to Thy mercy, as if Thou suffered for us; judge those who offend me and do not wake up like a man sleeping and like a man who cannot save, like God is merciful and loving of mankind and we send glory to you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever and ever. Amen.

Undefiled, Neblazny, Imperishable, Most Pure, Not Bride of the Bride of God, Mother of God Mary, Lady of the World and My Hope! Look upon me, a sinner, at this hour, and from Thy pure blood unskillfully gave birth to the Lord Jesus Christ, graciously make me motherly Thy prayers; That ripe one is condemned and wounded with a weapon of sadness in the heart, wound my soul with Divine love!

Prayer for the desecration of St. Basil the Great
Many-merciful, incorruptible, not filthy, sinless Lord, cleanse me, Thy indecent servant, from all filth of the flesh and soul, and from my inattention and despondency, the uncleanness that came to me, with all my iniquities, and reveal me undefiled, Master, for the goodness of Thy Christ , and sanctify me with the invasion of Your Most Holy Spirit; as if having awakened from the darkness of the unclean ghosts of the devil and all kinds of filth, I will be worthy of a clean conscience to open my filthy and unclean mouth and sing your all-holy name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer Preparatory for the Last Hour
Visit my humble soul, Lord, who has lived in sin all her life: in the same way as a harlot, accept me, and save me. Floating the abyss of this life, I contemplate the abyss of my evils and not having a caregiver in thought, I prophesy Petrov, Thy voice, save me, Christ, save me, God, like a philanthropist.
Glory: Soon we will become the messenger of Christ, so that we can all hear the blessed voice of Christ our God: come, those who love heavenly glory, partake of the former wise virgins, clarifying our saints by faith.
And now: Soul, repent before your departure, there is a sinful judgment for sinners, and an unbearable cry to the Lord in tenderness of the heart: I have sinned in knowledge and ignorance, generous, with the prayers of the Mother of God, have mercy and save me.

Children's prayer for dead parents
Lord Jesus Christ our God! You are the orphan guardian, the grieving refuge and the weeping comforter. I resort to You, orphan, groaning and weeping, and I pray to You: hear my prayer and do not turn Your face away from the sighs of my heart and from the tears of my eyes. I pray to You, merciful Lord, quench my grief about separation from my parents who gave birth and raised me (their names); but their souls, as if they had departed to Thee with true faith in Thee, with firm hope in Thy philanthropy and mercy, receive into Thy kingdom of heaven. I bow before Thy holy will, it has already been taken away from me, and I ask Thee that Thy mercy and mercy are not taken away from them. We know, Lord, as You are the Judge of this world, punish the sins and wickedness of the fathers in children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, even up to the third and fourth kind, but also have mercy on the fathers for the prayers and virtues of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. With contrition and tenderness of the heart, I pray to Thee, merciful Judgment, do not punish with eternal punishment the deceased Your servants, my parents (their names), who are unforgettable for me, but forgive them all their sins, free and involuntary, in word and deed, knowledge and ignorance created by them in life them here on earth, and according to Your mercy and philanthropy, prayers for the sake of the Most Pure Theotokos and all the saints, have mercy on them and deliver eternal torment. You, merciful Father of fathers and children! Grant me, all the days of my life, until my last breath, do not stop remembering my departed parents in your prayers, and beg Thee, the righteous Judge, and put them in a bright place, in a cool place and in a place of peace, with all the saints , all sickness, sadness and sighing will run away from here. Merciful Lord! accept this day about your servants (names), this warm prayer of mine and give them your recompense for the labors and cares of my upbringing in faith and Christian piety, as if they taught me first of all to lead Thee, my Lord, in reverence to me to be in Thee, to trust in Thee alone in troubles, sorrows and illnesses and keep your commandments; for their well-being about my spiritual success, for their prayers for me before You and for all the gifts they asked me from You, reward them with Your mercy, Your heavenly blessings and joys in Your eternal Kingdom. Thou art the God of mercies and generosity and philanthropy, You are the peace and joy of Your faithful servants, and we send glory to You with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer of parents for dead children
Lord Jesus Christ, our God, Lord of life and death, Comforter of those who mourn! With a contrite and touched heart, I resort to You and pray to You: remember, Lord, in Your Kingdom your deceased servant, my child (name), and create eternal memory for him. You, the Lord of life and death, gave me this child, your good and wise will, and take it from me. Blessed be thy name, Lord. I pray to Thee, the Judgment of heaven and earth, with Thy infinite love for us sinners, forgive my departed child all his sins, voluntary and involuntary, even in word, even in deed, even in knowledge and ignorance. Forgive, Merciful, and our parental sins, may they not abide on our children: we know, as if we have sinned against Thee by a multitude, we have not kept a multitude, we have not created, as thou hast commanded us. But if our deceased child, ours or his own for the sake of guilt, was in this life, working for the world and his flesh, and not more than You, the Lord and your God: if you love the delights of this world, and not more than Your word and Your commandments, if you betrayed sweetened by life, and not more than repentance of our sins, and in intemperance, vigil, fasting and prayer have betrayed oblivion, I pray you earnestly, forgive me, O good Father, my child, all such sins of his, forgive and weaken, if you do something else evil in life family Christ Jesus! You resurrected the daughter of Jairus by the faith and prayer of her father, You healed the daughter of a Canaanite wife by faith and the petition of her mother: hear my prayer and pray, do not despise my prayer for my child. Forgive me, Lord, forgive all his sins and, having forgiven and cleansed his soul, take away eternal torment and instill it with all Your saints who have pleased You from time immemorial, where there is no sickness, no sorrow, no sighing, but endless life: as if there is a person, whoever lives and does not sin, You are the only one except for sin: yes, when you have to judge the world, my child will hear Your most exalted voice: Come, bless my Father, and inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. As if You are the Father of mercies and bounty, You are our life and resurrection, and we send glory to You with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer for a Lost Spouse
Christ Jesus, Lord and Almighty! In contrition and tenderness of my heart, I pray to You: God rest the soul of Your deceased servant (name) in Your heavenly kingdom. Lord Almighty!
You blessed the marital union of husband and wife, when you said: it is not good to be a single man, we will make him an assistant for him. You sanctified this union in the image of the spiritual union of Christ with the Church. By faith, Lord, and I confess that You have blessed You to combine and me with this holy union with one of Your servants. Thy good and wise will deigned to take away this Thy servant from me, and gave it to me, as a helper and companion of my life. I bow before this Thy will, and pray to Thee with all my heart, accept this prayer for Thy servant (name), and forgive her if you sin in word, deed, thought, knowledge and ignorance; if you love earthly things more than heavenly ones, if you care more about clothing and adornment of your body, than about enlightening the garments of your soul, or if you care less about your children; if you grieve someone by word or deed; if you scold your neighbor in your heart, or condemn someone or something else from such evil deeds. Forgive her all this, as good and philanthropic: as if there is a person who will live and not sin.
Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, as Your creation, do not condemn me by her sin to eternal torment, but have mercy and mercy according to Your great mercy. I pray and ask Thee, Lord, grant me the strength for all the days of my life not to stop praying for the departed Thy servant, and even until the death of my belly, ask her from Thee, the Judge of the whole world, for the remission of her sins. Yes, as you, O God, put on her head a crown from an honest stone, crowning her here on earth; so crown me with Your eternal glory in Your heavenly kingdom, with all the Saints rejoicing there, and together with them forever sing Your all-holy name with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Widow's Prayer for Husband
Christ Jesus, Lord and Almighty! You are the weeping consolation, the orphans and widows are the stupefaction. Thou didst say: Call upon Me in the day of thy affliction, and I will destroy thee. In the days of my sorrow, I resort to You and pray to You: do not turn Your face away from me and hear my prayer, brought to You with tears. You, Lord, Master of all, deigned to combine me with one of Your servants, in which we should have one body and one spirit; You gave me this servant, as a partner and protector. Thy good and wise will deigned to take this Thy servant away from me and leave me alone. I bow before this Thy will and resort to Thee in the days of my sorrow: quench my sorrow about being separated from Thy servant, my friend. If you took him away from me, not taken from me by Your mercy. As if you once took two mites to the widow, so accept this prayer of mine. Remember, Lord, the soul of your deceased servant (name), forgive him all his sins, free and involuntary, if in word, if in deed, if in knowledge and ignorance, do not destroy him with his iniquity and do not betray him to eternal torment, but by Your great mercy and according to the multitude of Thy bounties, weaken and forgive all his sins and commit him with Thy saints, where there is no sickness, no sorrow, no sighing, but endless life. I pray and ask Thee, Lord, grant me all the days of my life not to stop praying for Your departed servant, and even before my departure, ask You, the Judge of all Mipa, the abandonment of all his sins and his settlement in heavenly abodes, even if you have prepared for those who love Tya. Like if you sin, but do not depart from You, and undoubtedly the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are Orthodox even until the last breath of confession; the same, his faith, even in Thee, instead of deeds, he is imputed: like a person to bear, who will live and not sin, You are one except for sin, and Your truth is truth forever. I believe, Lord, and I confess that You hear my prayer and do not turn Your face away from me. Seeing the widow, weeping greenery, having mercy, her son, carried to the burial, resurrected thou: so, having mercy, calm my sorrow. As if you opened the doors of Your mercy to Your servant Theophilus, who departed to You, and forgave him his sins through the prayers of Your Holy Church, heeding the prayers and alms of his wife: strength and I pray to You, accept my prayer for Your servant (name) and bring him into eternal life. As if You are our hope, You are God, to have mercy and save, and to You we ascend glory with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer for the deceased suddenly (suddenly)
Lord Jesus Christ, Lord of life and death, You said in Your holy Gospel: watch, you don’t know when the Son of Man comes, don’t think at the same hour, the Son of Man will come. But we are earthly and sinful, indulging in sorrow and the sweetness of life, forgetting the hour of our death, and so we call to You, the Judgment of heaven and earth, suddenly, at an hour, in the same time not tea and not mnih. Prayer to the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia
Holy New Saints and Confessors of the Russian Church, hear our fervent prayer! To him, as if he were not drinking from you, still youngsters, listening to the ancient passion-bearers, thinking in your heart how much it is to imitate such people with great kindness and praise, even though neither torment nor death separated them from the love of God.
It is good for you, for you have naturally followed the faith and patience of those who you hear about them and love them. And at any time, it is possible to find an unexpected test on us, ask the Lord for a gift for us, which is only useful in the life of humanity.
Whoever sanctified the ends of our fatherland or your sufferings, as if common for all of us prayer books, implore God, deliver our fatherland from the yoke of horror. More than any other, and may we and all our family be forgiven the sin that weighs on the Russian people: the murder of the Tsar, the Anointed of God hierarchs and pastors with their flock, and the suffering of confessors, and the desecration of our holy things.
May she abolish the schisms in our Church, may they all be one, and may the Lord lead His laborers into the harvest, may the Churches not be impoverished with good shepherds, who can enlighten with the light of the true faith such a great multitude of people who have been taught the faith, or converted from the faith. You are not worthy of the mercy of God, but for the sake of your sufferings, may Christ our God have mercy and have mercy on all of us who call on you to help.
But we always bring repentance for sins and thanksgiving for everything to Him, our Savior, with the Lord and with the Holy Spirit, glorifying Him forever and ever. Amen
