Creating a collage in Photoshop is very easy, so let's get started. Please note that I am working with Photoshop CS3.

The choice of photographs is critical. You need to select such a combination of collage elements to display the entire event. This means you need to take a few wide shots that show the whole scene and a few detailed photos that show a lot of texture and personality. Without these or those, the story will be incomplete, and will not convey the emotions that it can convey.

Step 1. Open the selected photos for the collage inphotoshop

Open all selected images in Photoshop. You will need to take at least three, but also avoid too a large number. I usually limit my selection of photos to eight. Remember that the more photos you choose, the more difficult it will be to see their details.

Step 2Create a new file

Create a new file (File -> New). Its size should be slightly larger than the one you want to end up with. I always make it 20x30″ at 150ppi.
