Green beans are a great product. Dietary, vitamin-rich and very tasty, and there are so many recipes based on it! Green beans go especially well with cheese and garlic. If you add to this union such products as sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and tangerines, you get a truly delicious treat for true gourmets.

The delicate taste of green beans with bright citrus notes and piquant spices is ideally complemented by juicy melted cheese. Due to the fact that beans lend themselves well to freezing, this dish can be prepared all year round.

Ingredients:

  • green beans – 300 g
  • vegetable oil – 25 ml
  • garlic – 3 cloves
  • lemon juice – 4 tbsp.
  • ground paprika – 1/2 tsp.
  • fatty cheese – 200 g
  • tangerine – 2 pcs.
  • peeled seeds - 2 tbsp.
  • sesame seeds – 2 tbsp.
  • pomegranate syrup – 2 tbsp.
  • salt - to taste.

Cooking method:


  1. Fresh or frozen green beans in pods should be boiled in slightly salted water before cooking. After boiling, keep on fire for about 3 minutes.

  2. Place in a colander, rinse with ice water (see) and fry over medium heat, adding refined vegetable oil to the pan. Fry for about 3 minutes until the pods change color.

  3. Squeeze lemon juice, finely chop the garlic and place it all in a frying pan. Add paprika, stir.
  4. Reduce heat and fry for another 1-2 minutes, cover and turn off.

  5. Cut fresh cheese into large pieces. You can also use other soft cheese.

  6. In a clean frying pan, pour in 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, you need to melt the cheese.

  7. Keep over very low heat, stirring occasionally, until the cheese looks like in the photo.

  8. At this time, we clean the tangerine from the peel and films.

  9. Also fry sunflower seeds and sesame seeds in a dry frying pan for 1 minute. The fire is at its maximum. Then reduce to a minimum, pour in 2 tbsp. lemon juice and pomegranate syrup, mix and turn off.
  10. Now we assemble the finished dish: lay out the beans, pour in the cheese, sprinkle with seeds and sesame seeds, and decorate with tangerine slices. Serve immediately before it cools down.

Green beans with chicken are a great option for a light and at the same time satisfying dinner. With frozen green beans and chicken always on sale, this dish is available any time of year. I like everything about it - the minimum of basic ingredients, the speed and ease of preparation, and, most importantly, the wonderful taste and aroma!

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 500 g frozen green beans
  • 2 medium onions (180-200 g)
  • 2 small tomatoes (about 250 g)
  • 1 tbsp. l. wine or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • pinch of curry
  • a pinch of khmeli-suneli
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil

To prepare green beans with chicken, you don’t have to take chicken breast, you can also use legs, but what is required for this dish is the seasonings offered. Without them, food will be bland and tasteless.

Preparation:

Cut the chicken breast fillet into small long pieces.

Salt, pepper, add a pinch of curry.

Stir and set aside for now, let the chicken soak in the seasonings.

Peel the onion and cut it into quarters of rings.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Lay out the green beans without defrosting, add salt and pepper, add a pinch of suneli hops, a tablespoon of wine or apple cider vinegar and 50 ml of water. Mix carefully.

Cover the pan tightly with a lid and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

While the beans are stewing, cook the chicken in another pan. Place chicken fillet pieces in heated vegetable oil and fry until golden brown.

Cut the tomatoes in half, cut out the tails and grate them on a coarse grater, holding them by the skin. Then we throw away the skin. It is convenient to use ready-made pureed tomatoes from the store or from your own supplies.

When the beans have been stewed for half an hour, add pieces of chicken breast and mashed tomatoes to them.

Stir, close the lid and keep on low heat for another 10-15 minutes.

Add greens and pressed garlic to the prepared green beans with chicken.

Stir and immediately turn off the stove.

Let the dish brew for 10-15 minutes and serve.

Step 1: Prepare the green beans.

Take 400 grams of green beans, place them in a colander and rinse thoroughly under cold running water to remove any kind of contamination. Leave the beans in a colander to drain excess liquid. Then we transfer the beans to a cutting board, using a kitchen paring knife, cut off the stalk of each pod and remove the hard vein. Then we cut the beans depending on desire, these can be pieces up to 5 - 7 centimeters long, or if the dish will be cooked in a large frying pan, then the beans can not be cut at all. Transfer the prepared green beans to a deep bowl.

Step 2: cook the green beans.



Now turn on the stove to a high level and place a deep pan on it, half filled with ordinary running water. Bring the liquid to a boil, add salt to taste, reduce the stove temperature to medium and carefully lower the prepared beans into the boiling water. Cooking beans 8 – 10 minutes. Then, using a kitchen towel, remove the pan from the stove and throw the beans into a colander. Leave it in this container for 10 – 12 minutes drain off excess water and let the beans cool slightly.

Step 3: Prepare the remaining ingredients.



While the beans are cooling, peel the garlic cloves and squeeze them through a garlic press into a small bowl.


Cut off the paraffin crust from the hard cheese and grate it into a deep plate using a coarse grater. We also put mayonnaise, vegetable oil, salt and ground black pepper on the kitchen table.

Step 4: bring the dish to full readiness.



After the beans have cooled, transfer them to a deep bowl and lightly pat them with paper kitchen towels. Then turn on the stove to a high level and place a frying pan on it with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. When the fat is hot, add the beans and fry them, stirring with a kitchen spatula for 1 – 2 minutes. Then add garlic to the beans and simmer them together 30 – 40 seconds.


Now reduce the temperature of the stove to a level between the lowest and medium, add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, a little salt, ground black pepper, chopped hard cheese to the frying pan, mix all the ingredients of the dish with a spatula until smooth, cover the container with a lid and keep it like that until completely melted dairy product. Cheese melts quickly 3 – 4 minutes, so we periodically look under the lid and check our beans. After the dairy product has melted and dressed the beans in a beautiful, fragrant “coat,” turn off the stove, arrange the finished dish in portions on plates and serve immediately.

Step 5: Serve green beans with cheese.



Green beans with cheese are served hot immediately after cooking. If desired, each serving of this culinary masterpiece can be sprinkled with fresh chopped parsley before serving. This dish can be a separate dish or can serve as an excellent side dish for baked meat, boiled chicken, brisket cutlets or pork chops, it all depends on your desire. Enjoy!
