The public is shocked, everyone asks Maitra whether he is sure of such a serious accusation. But he stays on his own. Miles unlocks until the last second, however, he has no choice but to deactivate the bomb. Now, without a doubt, he is the same leader. Opening its hood, it turns out that in fact - it is not an electric car, but a simple defective car with internal combustion fuel, and Allinol is ordinary gasoline. Scotland Yard arrests the villain.

After all this history Maitra knighted by the Queen of Great Britain herself, and then he, along with friends, goes home to Radiator Springs, where all the racers take part in the unofficial city Grand Prix. Before the start of the race Fillmore says that Sergeant replaced Allinol with a real biofuel. This saved Lightning from death. James Boswell called Porto-Vecchio, standing on a small hill above a beautiful and deep blue bay 25 kilometers north of Bonifacio, "one of the most wonderful harbors in Europe."

In fact, the city was founded in 1539 by the Genoese as their second stronghold in the east of Corsica - Bastia in the north by that time had already become stronger.

The location was ideal: high ground providing security and proximity to an undeveloped fertile plain, but the mosquitoes that spread malaria were so numerous that the first Ligurian settlers fled from there after a few months. The situation began to change with the development of cork production, which is still flourishing.

Today, one third of Corsican wines are exported through Porto-Vecchio, but tourists bring in the most income, a huge number of which flock here for the beautiful beaches that lie south of Porto-Vecchio. The most popular of them is Palombaggia. The beach in Santa Giulia Bay is almost as good as it.

Wonderful beaches, fringed pine forest, and on the north shore of the well-enclosed bay of Porto-Vecchio, the small town of Zonza, to the northwest of Porto-Vecchio, makes an excellent base from which to explore the magnificent forests on both sides of the Bavella Highway.

There is almost nothing to see around the city center, except for a well-preserved fortress and a small grid of ancient streets adjacent to the central Republic Square. It is impossible not to see the port of Genoa, to the east of Republic Square, the wonderful expanse of the bay, and the salt pans, through which lies the shortest path to the pier with many cafe and hotels.

Useful information about Porto-Vecchio

There is no bus station in Porto-Vecchio, buses of various companies flying to the city stop at the offices of their companies on the edge of the Old Town. Buses from Bastia and from the plains east coast(for example, from Solendzara and Aleria) will drop you off at the Corsicatours office (7 av Jean-Jaures), and buses from Ajaccio through Bonifacio , Sartene And Propriano arrive at the Trinitours office on rue Pasteur just north of the citadel.

Porto- this is a very tiny town, rather even a village, on which is famous not for its buildings, but rather unique nature around, because it is here that the most spectacular and incredible nature reserve of Corsica is located - Scandola. Porto itself consists of at least half of hotels and a promenade with a large parking lot. But all around is a unique natural landscape with elaborate rocks and steep cliffs. The coast near Porto forms the so-called Calanques - rocky bays similar to the famous ones. And, of course, the Genoese tower, Corsica is nowhere without them.

This is an excellent place for sea excursions along the coast. You can stop for a snack. Staying in Porto for more than a day is not worth it: it will become boring as soon as you examine everything.

Get to Porto

Due to the location in the mountains, it is not possible to get here by train, but buses run from and (where it is located):

Also in Porto there are buses from the city of Corte, located in the central part. They conveniently drop into a couple of beautiful villages, such as Evisa. So you can see along the way, at least from the window, what is interesting there.

It is more convenient, of course, to get here by car: you can stop along the way and take pictures of the surrounding landscapes. It really is worth it.

Parking in Porto:

In Porto, the central square is left for parking, but by the middle of the day it is already difficult to find places (however, many do not stay in the city, and by the evening the parking lot is noticeably empty).

Distance from Porto to other cities :

Sights of Porto

  • Aquarium in the "powder store" in the center of Porto
  • Genoese tower and heather museum
  • Fortress and bay of Girolata
  • Rocky bays of Piana (Calanques)
  • Caves where prehistoric people lived - "taffoni"

Around Porto:

Map of Porto:

In District:

The main attraction near the town of Porto is a beautiful nature reserve Calanches, listed . Its fantastic beautiful landscapes are calling card Corsica.

In addition, there are scattered small picturesque villages in the area, which are also worth seeing.

The cartoon continues the story of anthropomorphic cars, the main characters of which are a racing car Lightning McQueen and his friend - a tow truck Maitre who will find themselves drawn into the heart of international espionage.

Plot

The film opens with a video message from British agent Leland Turbo to agent Finn McMissile, in which Leland asks Finn to urgently rescue him, as Leland has begun to be suspected. Finn secretly arrives at the oil platform from which the message was sent. A gang of old and defective cars has gathered on the platform, led by the German professor Zundapp (also known as Zeth) and an unknown leader. Finn managed to take photographs of an unusual television camera lying in one of the boxes, which seemed suspicious to him.

Suddenly, a cubed Leland Turbo is brought out. Seeing him, Finn involuntarily gives himself away. Ceth's henchmen chase after him, but he jumps off the platform into the ocean and swims. His pursuers launch boats that open fire on Finn, but he, with the help of a virtuoso maneuver, goes under water, deftly deceiving the enemies, who considered him dead from a torpedo explosion ...

Four-time Piston Cup Champion Lightning McQueen returns home to Radiator Springs after another win and is reunited with his best friend Mater and girlfriend Sally, as well as the rest of the town.

Meanwhile, former oil tycoon Miles Kardanval, pioneering electric car and ardent environmentalist, announces a series of races called the "World Grand Prix" that will bring together all the world's big-name racers on three tracks in Tokyo, Italy's Porto Corsa (a fictional city in Riviera) and London to promote his Allinol biofuel. Italian Formula 1 driver Francesco Bernoulli, during a teleconference with Radiator Springs, begins to praise himself in every possible way and humiliate McQueen. The master stands up for a friend, and the latter, having heard this, also intervenes in the conversation. Having quarreled with Francesco, McQueen agrees to participate in the race. At Sally's insistence, he takes Mater with him.

Later it turns out that a group of old cars led by Professor Zeta and an unknown leader has the largest deposit oil in the world. In order to save their income, and at the same time to take revenge on others for ridicule in their address, they plan to sabotage the "World Grand Prix" by setting fire to "Allinol" using a radiation weapon developed by Zundapp, disguised as the aforementioned TV camera. With no apparent reason for the explosions, the public should have thought that Allinol was to blame, and thereby establish itself in the opinion that traditional gasoline is safer. And this, in turn, would open the way for the old cars to world domination.

British agent Finn McMissile and his assistant Holly Deluxe try to thwart this plan. The first priority for them is to meet with American spy Rod "Horse" Redline at the "World Grand Prix" in Tokyo in order to obtain information from him about the leader. However, on the way to the rendezvous point, Redline finds himself cornered by Ceth's henchmen. He has no choice but to quietly "merge" information to the first person he meets, which, by coincidence, turns out to be the Mater. Redline himself is taken prisoner and subsequently eliminated by setting fire to the Allinol in his engine. As a result, Deluxe and McMissile mistake Mater for an American agent.

Lightning McQueen during a race in Tokyo

During the first race in Tokyo, McMissile and Holly help Mater evade Zeth's henchmen. McQueen takes Mater's radio communications with Holly as instructions and cedes the first place to Francesco. Meanwhile, Zundapp uses the weapon on racers Miguel Camino, Trip Obgonetski, and Max Schnel. Outraged by the behavior of the Mater, McQueen quarrels with him. A frustrated Mater decides to return to Radiator Springs, leaving McQueen an apology note. At the airport, he is intercepted by McMissile, who, still convinced that Mater is an American spy, lets him in on Professor Zeth's plans. Together with Holly, they fly first to France, where they compare the available information with the information received from the French merchant Tumbera, and then head to Italy.

Cars 2: Original Mortion Picture Score

Corso Italia is the main walking area of Genoa. This 2.5 km road connects the urban areas of Foce and Boccadasse. Before the urbanization of Genoa's eastern suburbs, only narrow roads and hiking trails crossed the hills and cliffs where the Corso Italia stretches today. This "promenade" was built after the end of the First World War as a result of an ambitious plan for the development of the entire Genoese quarter of Albaro, approved in the 1910s. In the late 1980s and early 1990s Corso Italia was completely rebuilt with new walkways, benches and pavilions added.

Today Corso Italia is one of the most popular and lively streets of Genoa. Couples in love and families with children love to walk here, there are opportunities for jogging. Along the street are numerous restaurants, bars, swimming pools and sports clubs, always filled with residents of the city. There are also private beaches here. Among the interesting sights of Corso Italia are the lighthouse of Punta Vagno, the abbey of San Giuliano, built in 1282, the fortress of San Giuliano - one of the 16 ancient fortresses of Genoa, the church of Sant Antonio, the fishing village of Boccadasse and Lido di Albaro - the famous beach resort.
